I find you! Oh, you. Where are you going? Where are you going? Search you? You're looking for me too? Oh my gosh, look at that—the Ocean Vista Jeju my little baby tent over there. Look how small it looks compared to those big freaking  tents. slept all right. Not bad at all. Uh, yeah, it's actually pretty warm in there  once you zip everything up, and, uh, it's not that cold yet. It really isn't. So, going to pack up, load up, go to a coffee shop, get some coffee, hopefully get some bread, figure out where to go today. I should only have like 33 kilometers to go today, so it shouldn't be that bad.

I, uh, was starting my day cycling through, and I see these guys in here  working on some clams. Bandung area ok, Bandung is nice ah I forgot my Indonesian not sure what these shells are used for that's it."berapa lama", that's how you say how long. Dang. See? That's how it is. You don't  use the language, you just forget it.

Even my Japanese, when I was in Japan, some words are just on the tip of your tongue, but you're like, "What is it? Oh, oh, God!" Ah, that's just the way it is. How long? That's what I'm looking at. Hopefully, it's not too steep.

I don't mind going uphill as long as it's not steep. And so, getting a late start. It's already 12:00. And, uh, yeah, I just need to be at the ferry around 10 or 11, I think, 'cause it leaves at 12:30 (at night). So, should have plenty of time to get there. And it's only 30 kilometers And, uh, today I've chosen to kind of cut through the mountains a little bit. I might have to be on a road like this for a lot  of the way, but the coastline just looked like a bunch of mini ups and downs, ups and downs.

And I was like, I don't want to do that. I'd rather try my luck on this road, gradually going up. And so far, so good. At the top of the hill, and it's raining, and somebody just stopped.

corn, corn. Nice. It's been a while. For the stomach? Stomach, yeah. Okay, okay. Nice. Okay. I saw you yesterday in Changwon. Oh, really? I live in Changwon. You saw me in Changwon? You go to Samcheonpo Yes, I find you! Oh, you. Where are you going? Where are you going? Search you  You're looking for me? I find you! Oh my gosh. Lunchj? Uh-huh.

We have lunch. Okay. It's time to eat—12:30. Oh. Where can we go? You first. Okay, I follow you. Okay, okay. All right. I'm going to stay on this road. Okay? Okay. Restaurant? See Restaurant Stop Okay, okay. Sounds good. Get out of the road. These buses need to get on their way.

Oh my gosh he saw me in Changwon and has been looking for me. Seems like a nice guy. I'm sure it's okay. Okay, uh, let me, uh, I guess we're supposed to find a restaurant now.

Samcheonpo okay. That is a big map. This is, uh, yeah. We are, I think, somewhere around here. No, no, no, no. You're here. Oh, okay. There's Yeosu. This is where I need to be. Okay. that's right we are somewhere here Yeah, okay. Okay, um, let's see here.

This is my, my route. Okay. Okay, okay, okay. So, I'm just going to go straight. I don't know. Are there any towns? Any restaurants? Where? Straight? Go straight? Okay, okay.  I follow you. You follow me? Hey, maybe this will work. Just right up the road at the first light. I see Piggy up there, cars in the parking lot.

That could be it. All right. He said he would follow me, but I don't see him. Where did they go? I'm not that fast. They said they would follow me. I went about 200 meters down the road and no sign of them. Hm. What do I do? I mean, there's a restaurant right here. Okay, maybe this is them. I know they have a white car, but there are so many white cars in Korea.

Okay, all right. Yeah, it sounds good. Yeah. Uh, actually, I was thinking about going  along the coast. Okay. But I did this way,

so yeah. I know he's lucky. He picked the right road. I know every road Uh-huh. you know every road. You this way? Yeah, yeah. I was this close to  going a different way though, but lucky day for him.

Sounds good. Nice. Oh, I think they have like the pork blood sausage. Lunch time? Yeah, lunch time. Perfect. Yeah, here they have the pork blood sausage. The sausage, right?

I think I saw it over there. Kind of makes me wonder how many other people are searching for me? Okay, it's okay. I'll let you take care of all the ordering, I can eat anything. All right. I think I chose an interesting one here. Service? Service. All right. What is this? Liver? Liver? Okay. Liver. The lung? Oh, all right. looks interesting.

Those look nice and fresh. Okay, so you're from...? Okay, so that's close to Yeonpung. Okay, okay, down here. Got you. Okay, your hometown. But you live in Changwon? I see. Eighteen years I live. I see. Forty-five—45 years in Changwon. I see. I'm 62. You don't look 62. 62?

Ah. Wow. Wow. Mmm. That's the, uh, the pork blood sausage, I think. Oh, soy sauce and wasabi. I think this is definitely a first for me. This, this kind of fish. You want, uh, cider? Cider? Cider, yeah.

What is the best way to eat this? With this? Here? Here? Okay. Can you please show me how it’s done? Okay. Okay. I'm going to pour, dip it in some of the soy sauce. a little chewy 'cause of the fat, but good flavor. Okay. Okay, and here, I'm going to add a little soy  sauce to that wasabi in there.

This is... mmm... little shrimpies. Tastes like sausage to me. That’s good. I like that better than that. And I guess just like Korean barbecue style, you can just mix it up however you want.

Maybe a little bit of the bean paste in there. Garlic, onion— Mmm. Good. That’s how you dress it up  like this. Add some of the shrimpies in there.

I love the Korean cider. Very good. Better than Sprite. It’s like a nice, healthy, clean soup. Hot, hot, hot, hot! Burn your tongue. Burn the  taste buds. Don’t do that. Good soup.

Yeah, it’s a good thing I can come here with you, because if I’m by myself, only one, I can’t do this. So with more than one person, it’s better. Yeah, I could have ordered this and this and all the food. They’d probably be like, “No, no, can’t do it.” Or, I guess I could, but I wouldn’t be able to finish it. Last bite. I am stuffed

Mmm. Just kind of tastes like sausage. And, uh, it’s raining. Not too hard now, but, uh, nice couple back there. Thanks for staying. Hello. Thanks for hunting me down. I mean, it is pretty impressive, I guess.

And also, again, it just makes me wonder how many other people are out there driving around. Probably no one else, but still. Uh, anyways, let’s go to Samcheonpo . A little pit stop here, and that’s what I’m looking at. Got a nice uphill, and then pretty  much I’m done. That soup was... it wasn’t the... it was good, but sometimes I just feel like it’s missing something.

But it was very hearty, and it filled me up, and it’s going to power me through the rest of the day. I knew it. I knew they had to have it. My favorite tree in all the world right here. They have it here in Korea too. It’s called Kinmokusei in Japanese. I have to learn the name here. The second time I’ve been like, “That’s it!” And, uh, it blooms in the fall, and it maybe lasts maybe a week or two. But it is the best, sweetest fragrance in the world. Oh, it’s so good. Let me show you what it looks like.

Oh, it’s so good. It’s so good. Here it is —Kinmokusei. It smells so good, and you can smell it from maybe like, I don’t know,   10–15 meters away(or more!). Oh my gosh, it smells so good. The name of this tree? Uh, do you know? Sorry. In Japanese, Kinmokusei. Kinmokusei.  In Japan, many trees. But it smells so good.

Ah, do you know the name? Oh, no. Wow. Doing a little bit of climbing here. I should be almost done, though. Hadn’t been too bad. And then from here, downhill. Got a little slight uphill again, but for the most part, this  is it.

Getting rained on a bit, but it’s kind of stopped for now. It’s like... it’s going to be tough going down because you... you get kind of worked up, and your body is all warm from the  workout going up, and you’re sweating. Like, I’m wet underneath this. I’m wet on the outside, and I’m wet on the inside too.

And so it’s just, uh... you get kind of cold, though, when you go down. And up here... Samcheonpo Harbor, 12K. So, going to get there in plenty of time, which is good. And Hai is in 10 kilometers It’s actually a really nice road.

I’m glad I came this way. It’s beautiful. Look at those colors. I guess it’s just like one color, just different shades of it. Welcome to Samcheonpo! We made it all the way from Busan. That is a tough route. That is so tough. Woo!

I need a favor, and if you can appreciate that ride, hit the like button and make that noise when you do it. I am craving some bingsu. Sounds good after that big lunch. This looks like a good one.

Maybe I’m feeling the milk shaved ice more and more. I made it to Samcheonpo. I did not know it was going to be that hard. Taking Busan, Ono—like 130k. I can do that in a couple days. Took me three. And, uh, it was not easy. Look at that—the Ocean Vista Jeju.

Finally, the day has come, guys. I’m going to Juju. Easily the most requested place I visit in Korea. “Go to Juu. Go to Juu.” Well,  I’m going.

Hey. Okay, a little heavy. Ah, it’s too, too heavy. It’s, uh, too heavy too.Okay. Oh wow, an escalator. Really fancy. This was 61,000 won, which is like 50 bucks. A 7-Eleven on the ship. Nice. Okay.

So, I think it’s like first come, first serve. So, so far, much nicer of a room than the, uh, Fukuoka-to-Busan ferry. Much nicer. New mats. This feels like a new ship Pretty fancy. Look at this. Hey, I saw you on YouTube! Yeah, yeah! Man, cycling around Korea. Yeah, yeah! Subscribe. Awesome, man. Thank  you, thank you, thank you! Okay, got a little café right here. Not really selling much. Well, we got some kimbap.

Okay, so the economy class just gets really  thin little mattresses. Like, really,   really thin. So, I’m glad I upgraded to get a  little bit thicker. A lot thicker, actually.
