It is a gorgeous day today And uh yeah, I'm not quite sure how today is going to look like, well Obviously, I never do but in terms of roads Because on the way there is this dune field But I have a feeling that they are really, really tall dunes So I don't think I can uh, manage those So then I'll have to just find a way around them but let's see Oopa oh Oh yeah, that's what I was thinking You see there in the distance those are.. Massive dunes I think uh, those are uh..
A lot more.. Then I'll be able to take on They look super high Let's see if I can.. find a way around them Just staying on the edge a little bit Weeh!! Heehee See little dunes are fine What an amazing sight right? I don't know how well you can see it on the GoPro But it is stunning Not quite sure.. Where I'm supposed to go but hey! How cool is this right? Yee hoo!! There it is Ah, see they're already getting so tall so quickly Oh no no! Okay, that was very stupid [Dutch] That was very stupid [Dutch] Oh I see lots of liquid on the sand Oh what happened My extra water bag got between my tire and exploded:( Okay, I'm just taking this tar road to cross this big dune field It's a little bit faster This is a cute village See if I can get a bit closer See, you almost wouldn't see the houses against the backdrop of this hill The exact same color obviously, because they use that material to build But I find it fascinating that they still put like these street lights here Even though, I get the feeling that it's all abandoned Maybe there's still people living in some of them, I don't know I think these are all empty now Yeah Definitely nobody living in these ones Just a little dog All abandoned Maybe someone lives here still Let's see if I can maybe drink some tea here somewhere There is a mosque, ah The oldest mosque in Al-Ghat dating back to the ninth hijri century 15th century AD Looks like they restored this one I think Looks beautiful What's here? Let's go in here A well I'm still looking for like, a place to eat or drink something But I don't know where everybody is at Is there like, some party I don't know about? Look, there is a camel market here Okay, let's say hi.. to all the camels Let's say hi to this one Hi there It's probably busier in the morning.. I think Oh, they have sheep as well here Yeah here, this is the sheep market By the looks of it Yeah, lots of them here Oh, goats Hi It's okay Don't be afraid So pretty right? It's a little scared of me, hi I don't know why some of them they let them out Maybe to stretch their legs or something? Well, I'm not in the market for a camel today But there are some, oh there is a really cute one Look at these babies Look Look at the little baby one at the back there So cute There's another baby there They are very noisy, huh? Oh, you can hear them like scream and shout They're so noisy Hi It doesn't seem to be busy with buyers No, I don't see anyone Buying them or loading them up a truck or something Hello How are you? Is camel? Your camel You.. you understand English?
No English.. No English, ah Only Arabic Arabic Okay I go Goodbye Oh, now there's loads here Now they must mark them right? Pretty sure they're all marked because otherwise Like, how do you keep track of like these.. little wandering camels See they're marked Yeah I wonder how old these are maybe like one or two years or something? No idea I've read somewhere that this is the largest camel market in the world That was the camel market Wow, look at this! What is it? I have no idea Anyway, I made it to the place that I wanted to go to Only thing is I'm riding the wrong way Let me see hotel hotel This is my room for tonight Pretty decent I got a lounge as well Okay, I am on a mission to find some food Didn't have any lunch today again I didn't see anything to buy or eat in the dunes But uh anyway, I looked online and there's actually an Indian restaurant not too far away from here I'd like to eat like in a Saudi restaurant but I have a feeling there's more Indian and Pakistani restaurants around here than uh, Saudi Arabian restaurants Ah, that was the place I saw on Google but uh.. That doesn't look open No That doesn't exist anymore Okay So I just took it as a takeway.
