I DAMAGED my motorcycle in Douro Valley on ACT Portugal

Obviously we have another day and yesterday it was little bit of one fail and one almost fail and this sort of stuff you know so I took a break then I went back on the truck then I found this place because I was tired again as usual and Now we are just going to refill the water from the local source and then we are ready to continue. The man says it's very good like everywhere. I mean, yes.
Okay. So, it looks like it's bit windy today over here near Castell Rodrigo. So, after 20 minutes, I'm back on the track and uh we're going to continue. I think it's going to take us through the Castell Rodrigo. So, let's see what is ahead of us. Let's uh let's have some fun today again. Hoping with no fails.
Oh, really? Woohoo. I don't know where to go because I don't see it on my navigation, but this is something. Wow. So, here we are almost inside of the ruins of the Castella Trigo. We have this nice view. That's the spot we were yesterday where I was attacked by this crazy bugs or I don't know what they are.
Ding. And it was funny because even I ride all the way down and then through the forest. I was still like itching and feeling there is something on me. And then I stopped and I found, you know, all over my backpack on my on my back on my jersey. And also I had to take down my trousers and I shaked off maybe two more from my trousers. So that's uh that was pretty successful attack from them and I think uh I will not be able to go in there unless I will pay some entry fee because uh here this is closed or it is not and it's closed.

I don't know if it's just uh today or if it's this region or I mean the place where are we because uh the previous days I didn't find to be so windy as as it's today. So I'm just wondering if it's a common thing here near Castell Rodrigo and riding obviously direction north north uh east or if is it just for today and now it's gone completely. completely. and then go back about 6 kilometers and then join this nasty road. And I can see from here that I would join this road anyway. Yeah, that's how it goes sometimes. To me, it looks pretty deep. I'm not going to try, you know, any nonsense. 2 and a half thousand kilometers away from home. I had
enough. Heat. Heat. [Music] N. Heat. Heat. N. Heat. Heat. N. Okay. So, I have to stop here and figure out something about the seat because obviously I broke the thing which is locking the seat into the position and when I was riding here I had this weird feeling. The seat is wiggling out.
Uh the last thing what I want to to happen is when you ride through the twisties and you are moving and then the seat will somehow jump off. So that's why it's good to have couple of spare these rock straps. So I did it just like this, you know, not hold it tight only to be in the position.
So I think that should do the job. Okay, let's move on. So, I just stopped here for obvious reason. First of all, I'm boiled, so I'm having a break. Second of all, I had a graveyard in my visor and go uh glasses as well. So,
I'm doing a little bit of cleaning work, maybe camera as well. So, that's what we have here. Just a nice small village and water. [Applause] Look what I just find out. I'm pretty sure that's not how it meant to be. I'm not sure if you can see, but that's definitely not how it was designed.
Yeah, the the things which are holding it back here are pretty uh bent. And I hope this oily bit it's only from when I was lubing the chain. But I don't see apart from that any other oily bits from the bottom of the engine. And I'm not sure if that happened during that small fall what I had or if that was today the big rock. But obviously the big rock would not bend it so badly. That must happened during my fail on that stupid rocky section. Ping.
Yeah, I haven't noticed for the first time when I was doing the inspection of the bike and clearly now because I went from there which is lower than the bike. Okay, apart from that, I'm hoping it's fine. Yeah, I mean it's still holding strong. Let me see.
Yeah, but I think the bike had enough of beating on this trip. 7 and a half,000k. Yeah, I think we deserve some rest before any new adventure. Okie dokie. Let's continue.

Oh, actually, yeah, it was only I think the second day, the first or second day here in Portugal in that village when I was not capturing I mean recording and there was just two small dogs, you know, compared to these And you never know, are they going, you know, are they just bagging because of a fun and they want to play or they are after you? I don't have any spare battery left. I'm not going to recharge it because we are approaching the end of the day. I'm about 10 minutes of uh from Brakancha Braansa sorry it's over over that hill uh which means only one thing and that's uh the end of the trip for me and also end of the whole trip in Portugal because tomorrow I'm off to Spain. So quick
thoughts, what's my thoughts? I will probably do the summary the next day or day after when I will process you know all all things. But it was a great I had a great time. uh almost uh one drop, one bike drop, two almost drops and I would say I drained the ACT to the full but probably ACT drained me but it was perfect. So I'm hungry
waiting for that. Can't wait for the dinner which I will surely find in some place over there which means I also need some place to stay.
