Foreigners fly to MUSCAT OMAN
good morning good morning my friends and welcome back to another video very special day you had a very sad day because I am here in the beautiful country of Qatar for the last and final moments we're actually staying at the uh Pearl let's see if we get this door open early in the morning this is what it looks like at five in the morning before everyone wakes up guys but finally it's actually a really nice temperature anyways guys we are packing up and then we are heading to the airport because it is time to head to Muscat Oman and we are packed and ready to go my friends time to head over to the airport goodbye Airbnb until next time mm-hmm all right time to rush to the airport oh all right we have made it outside oh man we're going to a man oh and look at that we have a shoe that needs to be tied oh it's automatic these days only in Qatar my friends all right looks like we got Anwar arriving oh that's Anwar here right now hello anwares pop this one right open good morning yellow thank you oh all right off to Hamad International Airport so he has to go from the Pearl all the way to Hamad International Airport right now it's 32 minutes at 5:12 a.m so that'll get us there 5:44. two hours and six minutes before our flight well we should have slept in another hour thank you very much oh look at this all right we have arrived the Alvin and you thank you very much bye all right and guys feels like we just got here a couple days ago but we are back at the Hamad International Airport here in Doha Qatar as you can see it's gonna be our last look at all the FIFA signage this entire Airport terminal is covered with FIFA signage saying can't wait to see you again all right and here we go checking in the four or five for Muscat Oman all right guys this is one of my inventions of work smarter not harder so this old bag I have here the way back the wheels roll so slowly yet the new one rolls easily and this one was holding me up and causing me extra tiredness now I just toss this one right on top and it's smooth like butter yellow okay it's one thing for you to know is if you have an Oman booking even if you booked with Qatar Airways and it's an Oman flight you gotta go to the oh mind ticket counter all right guys we've just made it through security for obvious reasons we didn't film that part and we're coming into the main entrance here as you can see I thought we saw our last promotions for FIFA but we did not yet we've got soccer balls right there looks like our footballs what do you call them we call them footballs football are those things called footballs or is that a soccer ball the ball soccer ball it is a soccer ball but it's football oh that makes it even more confusing and then we got the world's largest teddy bear right there do you want to go hug it my love nice huh okay we're right now then right now and here is a close-up view of the teddy bear wow I think it's massive the uh it seems like the button is being eaten by the Light all right well I think it might be time to go to the lounge what do you think get some food get some drinks and uh get the morning started off right and I will say guys the security and checking process was very efficient very quickly can't promise the speeds during the World Cup but getting in I mean there was no line for Oman and it's less than two three hours from the flight most airports I've been to usually you'll be waiting like two hours if you're arriving like within three hours of departure because that's when the majority of people are waiting all right guys we're gonna be taking mobile with us to almaha lounge with the priority pass get in there for free so the nice part is that when you check this thing you can actually look at the location airside level two from the teddy bear area walk straight and take the lift or escalator on the left so I'm guessing that's this one right here we're about to find out oh yeah I see Al Maha Lounge hello going to the Almaha Lounge please what time is your next flight 7:50 p.m a.m. yeah mabelle's getting a taste of at 6 a.m. what uh we have to do to make sure we can film everything for you guys he's still asleep I've been filming since like 4 a.m we've even got a remote Apple Store down there I've never seen that an Apple Store literally in an airport and this is the lounge I've been here in previous videos guys you've probably seen if you're an avid follower all right hello good morning uh please access for the priority pass for two people all right we are entering in the lounge I think we chose the better side it's one of the same as busy welcome to your first Lounge experience a hard part will be finding a place to sit and oh we've located a table let's grab it before anyone else grabs it 25 years of excellence here so we're working on the 26 with them today little apple all right and what else do we get here fruit salad yummy yummy we'll get one of those for me yogurt you do like yogurt right um all right and we will try out looks like we got a nice little salad there maybe that's chicken drop these off here and what else do we have going on it's like full madonnais kanji not familiar with those and what do we have over here Weetabix looks like some sort of granola bar cereals some Arabic bread here Arabic bread let's try a multi-grain roll that looks pretty delish and then we'll finish off with a plain bagel should be enough to get the job done good oh and butter over here we're gonna need the butter and then something to spread it let's do this oh yes please all right and then over here on this side we've got looks like some delish coffee oh it scares me every time it looks like we're getting the milk going in there first get that coffee ground up oh there we go oh yes a nice fresh coffee moving thank you all right and we've got a feast so guys this is everything we've got here we've got a fruit salad a chocolate muffin looks like a chocolate croissant type thing here a little mini salad multiple breads all packaged up and it was a little bit later it would be beer 30 or wine o'clock why not right but it's a bit too early for that right now oh yeah so it's time to take some of this I think turkey toss that thing up on there and that's what we're gonna be having for breakfast my friends lettuce on top too custom made come on oh yeah that's probably a Mac menu right there okay another one yeah so you know what's good she comes for seconds and compliments the chef there yeah much knitted morning pick-me-up leave a clip for the hard-working people here yellow goodbye Lounge all right well these days progressed a bit more yellow so guys yeah that was uh Mabelle's first Lounge experience I'd say the one thing with the priority pass that I have is that because so many people have gotten them over the last like probably eight years now that I've had it a lot less lounges are showing up around the world in airports because they're just so overcrowded from the priority pass so that is the bummer but yeah definitely like um I was bummed that this was I mean it's a great Lounge in the staff take care of us good options good food clean Place nice step overall which is food options were a bit limited so I mean they don't need to provide a lot because that Lounge is going to be full regardless so now we're gonna cruise over to the screen and uh figure out where the musket flight is muscular Muscat muscats c93 Is Us c93 is going to be [__] all right this is the uh airport for you guys look at you can buy yourself some gold here if you want to make a quick stop a little impulse buy or if you're thinking right you can pick yourself up a Range Rover over here or a motorcycle it's funny if someone else yeah yeah oh it's duty free too it says guitar duty free oh it looks like the Apple Store is extended all the way over here as well that's insane that must be a very expensive Apple Store to have it yeah right there and then over here we've got multiple food options uh that is a great question guys if you're going all the way to c93 like we are literally the last gate c80 to c93 there's a sky tram actually right up there that you should take unless you want to get exercise like us if you've got a heavy backpack 30 kilos on your back you might want to save your back a few years and uh take the trim but it looks like we've got a secret passageway down here c80 to c93 all right a secret passageway to Muscat all right we have located Miss Scott this is us hello Oman inshallah wonders we're taking the bus over to the plane we were taking a guitar bus though qatar Airways bus to the Oman plane all right we're boarding the plane now yellow yellow oh man air even gotta climb the stairs to get up here probably an average sized plane because it's only I think one and a half hours hello good morning first class baby surprise just kidding I wish would be a nicer ride to get here wouldn't it you guys right when I was filming that it became our lucky day cause I'm with the baby but yeah guys we now have extra leg room charging down there looks like even so that's nice also a USB port there screens to watch a little movie and my favorite spot in the world the window seat time to get comfortable now oh foreign you first one oh yeah yes please thank you oh yeah eggs or vegetarian we're going with eggs my friend looks like a little slice of bread in there and let's just eggplant pretty tasty reminds me of a Hot Pocket every radicals like a microwavable thing it took pretty well so yeah this one is like a I just took a bite it's kind of like a sugar cake almost like a dessert sweet bread I've got an orange juice and a water here to wash it down so at least they serve that on only in one hour and 20 minute flight we're already six minutes remaining thank you this is Muscat airport super modern design it looks awesome we're at that Oman money right there three private jets parked up thank you very much all right this is Muscat Oman all right we are arriving into the quietest airport I have ever been in in my entire life this is crazy how quiet it is in here good morning uh looks like great when we walk in we take a left and we go to the visiting guests this way and that's gonna be us all right we got our bags coming to Tisa which is nine well hello there suitcase oh man suitcase is a man you guys so interestingly enough the first thing we see in the duty-free shops are a lot of alcohol beers Coronas full-on liquor store here so I guess grab your goods before you enter into Muscat get it duty free and some cigs or some smokes in there if you want all right we are exiting the airport look at this tripped over the suitcase the one thing I'll tell you is it's so quiet at this airport you know see SIM cards available here SIM card all right so it looks like we're able to get a uh data plan for check this out so six gigs for five Omani riyal yeah six gigs for five Omani riyal yes all right perfect so that's where the data plan only but if you get 15 gigs with the minutes 31 16 you guys are the best provider in uh Muscat yeah all right perfect the best yeah one of the good that'll work then we can give you the best clip that's a good perfect yeah I like that answer actually one uh Bahama see my friends goodbye all right guys we got our SIM cards and now it's time to head out all right we've got our SIM cards we've got everything it is time to depart the airport very very modern as you can see all around beautiful but it's just so quiet it's very interesting how quiet it is it is like a Thursday at like 10 a.m so it makes sense that it's quiet but uh yes please oh
normal price taxi yeah all right perfect hello my friend yeah hi sir how are you okay thank you thank you very much allow me thank you good afternoon thank you we're heading over to the Kempinski hotel which is about 8.2 kilometers away 11 minutes or so it's a nice little cruise over Halloween I will say just arriving into Oman right now it's much clearer than the skyline in Doha Doha was pretty um hazy from all the sand here you can see pretty far into the distance you can tell it's gonna be a good day to hang out by the pool so you guys were driving into Oman and overall very uh modern infrastructure when you first drive in well lit in terms of uh the amount of street lights there are signage is uh super nice and to get around I can tell traffic seems uh very uh easy to navigate if you're driving here I mean this is just kind of like my first looks at it but it seems like most people are staying in their Lanes but yeah that's pretty much all I'm going to share with you now it was a nice easy flight from Doha and the nice part is it's still only uh 11:26 a.m so you still have so much left of the day I believe we are one hour ahead than what we were before so that's the good news is probably our days are going to be slightly longer but then when we're in Doha check right now for the sunset time oh yeah 5:43 so we have about 32 minutes longer of the day than we did in Qatar when the Sun rises around 6:03 a.m and that's all right because we'll still be sleeping at 6:03 a.m. so yeah guys that's where I'm gonna end this video hope you enjoyed coming with us on the journey from Qatar over to Oman and we'll have a lot of videos coming out here in Oman so make sure you guys hit that subscribe button if you're not already and thank you so much for watching
