Did they give you a card? The blue one? No. No. So can we enter the wall or not? Its total length is 21000 km. And almost 1 million people died.
We are passing through the wall. We have our breakfast here. This is sort of our first hotel breakfast in China.
That's how it looks like. I have never had a breakfast like this in my life. I have salad, peanuts, boiled avocado, potato, corn and sweet potatoes. And here is milk tea that I got for the first time here. I also had it in Mongolia but it was different. It's a little salty but it's delicious.
I don't think anyone else is gonna have milk tea here. But I decided to try it because there is no coffee here. There are many other things as well but they are non-vegetarian. So that's gonna be our meal. Hope to get something good on the way.
Thank you. Welcome to China. Thank you. People are very friendly here.
Wherever we stop, someone comes to us. Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone and welcome back to the channel from Ullanqab, a small city in the north of China. By small I mean that its population is around 1.7 million. We visited Ulaanbaatar in this tour. Its population was 1.6 million and it was the largest city in Mongolia.
The city we will visit today is one of the biggest cities in the world by population. With a population of 22 million. The capital of China, Beijing. I have always wanted to see this city. I never got a chance before. Today we will go there.
Our total ride from here is about 350 km which may take 6 hours. But we will not go straight to Beijing. We will take a very important stop along the way.
And that is the Great Wall of China. Every tourist wants to see it. I have the same desire that we will complete today. Let's see if we can find a good spot. It has different viewpoints.
Hope to find one with less rush so that we can enjoy the beauty of that place. And also capture it well for you. Almost everyone is ready to leave. We will take you to Beijing.
Let's warm up Rangeeli before we leave. Two of our companions have left. The remaining four of us are going together. Bismillah... In the name of Allah Prayer for the journey Ya Allah, may we have a good day and a memorable ride today. And while we enjoy it, we also make a good video for you.
Our ride yesterday was very tough. Because of the windy conditions. But now we are out of Inner Mongolia. Hopefully it's not gonna be that windy today. The view point we have found to see the Great Wall of China is about 282 km from here. We'll reach there around 2 pm.
We'll have to take a break in between. That means we'll get there by 3 or 3.30 pm. After that we will head to Beijing and get there by the evening.
We have been told that it is better to reach there a little late. Because, there will be a lot of traffic jams from 5 pm to 7 pm. If you reach after 7 pm you can easily cross.
They have 92, 98 and 95 octane fuels here. I think I have got 95. 98 is on this side. Our fuel tank is now full. We didn't need much fuel anyway. I filled it up yesterday only 1.25 liters.
Let's go. The infrastructure here is amazing. We didn't get any traffic in the city today. As soon as we left the city, we are on the highway. You can see big apartment buildings along the road side.
The road network here is very good. As far as we have seen till now. When we go to other provinces we will see more things. Some of my friends who have been here would tell me that when I visit China I'll feel like I'm in a new world. Because the world doesn't know much about China.
And since Chinese people use their own social media, less information from here goes out in the world. But till now I have been very impressed by China. The population of Ulaanbaatar is 1.6. There we saw bumper to bumper traffic. This city is bigger than that and the traffic here.
I think there will definitely be more cars here. Even then the traffic flows smoothly. Today we can see big rest places here along the highway. There was nothing along the previous highway. So 44 km on this highway and then we go...
The other highway. I don't think so that is highway Doesn't look like highway after that. And the rest of it will probably be through the national road. Let's see if we can get something in this supermarket. Let's see if we can find something from here. These things are looking very interesting.
This looks nice. From the picture. We have covered almost 150 km.
The section of the Great Wall that we are gonna see is still about 130 km away. It will take another 2 hours. Afterwards, the ride to Beijing will take another 1.5 hours. Let's rest here for a while. It seems as if one of my ears is now blocked due to this long ride.
I'm already feeling under the weather for the last few days. That could also be a reason. As we are moving towards Beijing, southwards, the weather is getting better. The temperature is slowly increasing. When we left in the morning, it was around 6-7 degrees.
Now it is around 12-13 degrees. The wind is not so cold. And it is not as windy as it was in Mongolia. We are about 70 km away from Beijing. And there is a check post here.
They didn't stop anywhere on the way. But there is a lot of rush here. Are they doing any checking here or not? It must take a lot of time here. This is a very big check post.
They did not perform such a thorough checking even at the border. The vehicles of all the passengers to Beijing are properly scanned. And the passengers also go through an X-ray scan. They have checked our passports here.
The tour guide came and sent them some documents. They have kept pictures of the license plates. We are taking a small detour from here to the Great Wall of China. We have to pay here. But I don't have it.
How will I pay? Did they give you a card? The blue one? No. No. They just let you in? We never pay. Let us pass and pay. No, no, no. There is no yellow card.
Because the toll booth over there did not give them a card. I asked them. I don't know where this big car came from. Where did your car come from? Didn't your car come from the same place? I do not know.
Where is your card? I like your T-shirt. Thank you. I want this card. Didn't you get this card together? No, no.
We are not together. But this card is for you. You are not together. They are on different routes. Some people have different routes.
They didn't give us a card at entry. They are telling us that we should have been given a card at entry. They didn't give us a card. They want to charge us.
But how much should they charge? What? And how? They are discussing that. Let's see. Should we go? Yeah.
They are telling us not to pay. Otherwise, we would have to pay around 20-25 yuan. Yesterday we were riding in the desert. And today we are riding through this dense forest.
There is so much variation in just one day. And the view of Great Wall is amazing from here. I think if we continue along these curves, we'll eventually get there. Is this a parking lot? I hope it won't be too crowded today. It's not a weekend.
So it might be less crowded. Otherwise, it will be difficult to cover the whole area. What a beautiful view in front of the Great Wall. They have made a huge parking lot. There are some other tourists as well.
But I think they are local Chinese tourists. So can we enter the Great Wall or not? We have to park our bikes here. One of our friends has parked his bike here.
Let's park it here. We will take a couple of pictures with it. So finally we have reached the Great Wall of China. This section is called Badaling. There are different sections where tourists can visit it.
We have to buy a ticket at the back. We'll buy that and then go up to see the Great Wall. It's almost not crowded today. Our wishes have been fulfilled. We've seen pictures or videos from here, overcrowded by tourists.
Hello, one person please. Passport, yes. Thank you. Hello. Thank you.
I have just climbed up one section. The Great Wall is going up. I want to reach at least there.
The view will be better from there. If the guards allow me to go there. You can see that all these stones are in square format.
They are similar. It is said that they were taken from these mountains. Then there are some fortresses like this one, used as a watch tower against the enemy. Hello. Water. No, thank you.
It is very difficult to climb. There are stairs in some sections. And some sections are like this. It is difficult to walk here. Especially going down is a little slippery. It is said that the drainage system here was also made only on the inside for the protection of this wall.
If it was built outside, the enemy might climb up from there. You will find the drainage side down here. But you will not find it on this side anywhere.
The Great Wall of China is one of the seven wonders of the world. And it should be. It was built with great skill through a lot of effort. Its total length is 21,000 km. If you make a round of the world, it becomes 40,000 km.
You can say that it is equal to half the world. It was not made at one time, but rather section-wise. It is said that in 700 BC, one of its sections was built. But according to history, it was built during the Qin Dynasty. You know such walls and fortresses were only built for security.
In addition to that, there was a lot of trade on the Silk Road. It was also used to control it. You can control the movement of merchandise and people. And you can also put a tax on them.
So gradually these sections were made. And it is said that the last section was made in the 15th century. The condition of the section we are in now is very good.
It is open for tourists and you can walk around. But every section of this wall is not maintained. An estimated 10 million people took part in this construction. But almost 1 million people gave their lives. so this gives an idea how difficult it was to build.
For years, Chinese dynasties were protected by this wall. Until emperor Genghis Khan came with his son. He defeated them for the first time.
The wall had great importance before that. But when Mongols defeated them, the wall lost its importance too. Let's go around and see. It is almost sunset. I am not sure how much we can stay. Apparently there aren't any tourists today.
You can see the walls rising up the mountains. I think accidents are not unusual here. Because the wall is a bit too steep for the tourists.
Bye Bye Great Wall of China I really wanted to see it and today it is fulfilled. Everone is ready now. Our hotel is about 57 km. It will take us minimum 1.25 hours. One disadvantage of traveling in tour is that making videos gets very tough.
This is just the second day. And I'm already having these feelings. Because I need time to see things carefully. And then I decide which content to record.
I think we have come the wrong way. We have to turn from here. This is the road. So when you are on tour and you don't have much time. Then what to do? I have felt those things otherwise I would have spent at least one day here to make this vlog of Great Wall of China.
But still I have tried to tell you the important things about the wall. And some nice shots that I was able to capture. This road is very beautiful.
It's fun to travel on such roads when you are on a bike. Highways get boring in such cases and make you feel sleepy. We are passing through the wall.
As I mentioned earlier this is a zigzag wall. You keep seeing similar sections of the wall when you travel here. It is fun to see the historical buildings of China.
It does feel like we are in China now. The landscape we saw earlier was the same as in Mongolia. And they were actually scared of Mongols, when they built this wall.
Because most of the attacks were from that side. Eventually Mongols did defeat them. The holidays of China ended last week. A lot of people travel in those holidays. After that it gets quiet. That may be the reason why there is not much rush.
Saw some Chinese bikers there. Let's see if they give us a card or not. She is asking for your number plate. Yes This is our registration plate.
This is our bike's registration number which we have to show them. Welcome to Beijing Capital of China and one of the biggest cities in the world. Finally we are here with our motorcycle Rangeeli. Till now we have covered almost 20 km in the city. Really went well. Because we were on the highway.
The adjacent roads are very congested with a lot of traffic. But it goes smoothly on the highway. The navigation is now showing red portions on the map. But overall so far there is no problem.
Hopefully we'll go through easily. One can expect traffic issues in a city of 22 million people. But if the infrastructure is good then there is no problem. which I think this is the only solution. oh oh oh He wasn't paying attention. No harm done.
20 yuan approximately 2.5 USD for 50 km Need to be careful. We do have insurance in this tour. Bike insurance is also included. But still better if we don't need to use it. Now we can see the beauty of Beijing.
Earlier the city was in darkness, in the last section. We can see less on the highway. As we got off the highway we started seeing colorful buildings. This is a mess.
People were coming from everywhere. We have checked in at the hotel. This hotel was booked by our tour guide.
He booked for all motorcyclists because nobody is camping. Cars are not allowed outside the city. This is our room. Clean bed, no issues. Chairs... kettle.
They are two bottles of water. But you can see the roof of this room. My head is touching it. If someone is 6 feet tall, he will have to come here like this. But I think generally Chinese people are not that tall. That's why they didn't take much care of it.
But it can be a problem for Europeans who are more than 6 feet tall. And we have paid 180 Yuan per night for this room. We have to stay here for 3 nights.
I have paid for one night. The rest I'll pay later. I always try to pick one place and stay there. And I think 180 Yuan will be around $30.
It will be less than $30... $25 roughly. Which is quite reasonable. Now let's rest and see where we will go next. We are here to have dinner at Xinjiang restaurant.
You can find Muslim food everywhere in Beijing. Not only here, but also in Ulaanqab. So he is our guide, Mr. Joe. You know him, Yasin.
He has ordered some meat for us. And I think this is chicken. We have noodles here. It looks good but it looks spicy. Is it spicy? I don't have a voice anymore. It's okay.
I think I can eat it. But it's spicy. The food was spicy. We paid $10 or $11 for it. It was a little expensive restaurant but the food was good. Remember me in your prayers. Don't forget to like, subscribe and share.
Allah Hafiz.
