EPIC TOUR OF KOLOLO THE BEVERLY HILL OF KAMPALA UGANDA.
hi everyone welcome to another video so kololo is one of those rich neighborhoods in kampala Uganda and kololo is one of the hills is one of the Seven Hills on which kampala city sits so today I'm here to show you where the high income earners live so right now we are here in kololo I've taken the kololo Drive let me see where this route takes me let me see what's inside this kololo [Music] drive as you can see the houses up there the place is really quiet guys just pray for me it's like the rain is coming the rain is coming [Music] just so we have here that residential here [Music] I'm seeing Ruparelia residence here [Music] yeah the place is really quiet I think this is where Sudiru Lives one of the richest people in Uganda here is an Indian you can see the green I'm seeing here it's an organization trans African Valley corridor hope you're seeing this it's an organization I dont know what they are dealing in here beautiful houses here I think it's an [Music] apartment apartments for rent let me take a clear view for you here it's really nice very beautiful Kawalya Kaggwa Close you can see a nice residential here guys kololo is really expensive for you to get just a rental apartment in this place you have to have like more than 500 million Ugandan shillings yeah the place is really expensive you can see the apartments there that's why it's called a place for high income earners I think this road is ending from this side be aware of dogs by the way you're going to find Residential apartments and people do business here also so that is the cube it is a commercial apartment there are many commercial Apartments this side kololo hill Drive as you can see cameras are not allowed in some of the places but I'll try my level best to get some good view of how kololo looks like let's get going [Applause] [Music] so in front of me there are Estates kololo Hill Estates and they're really nice just take a look but expensive as well I'm seeing here the Agha Khan education center it's right there [Music] very many embassies this side and in front of me I have embassy of United Kingdom of [Music] SAUDI Arabia that is the beauty of kololo remember we have lower kololo and is it high kololo and lower [Music] kololo see the environment is really really amazing guys let me first chill a little bit you know this is a hill I'm really panting if you haven't kololol there is a Hotel the motel here Canton restaurant here it is Canton restaurant Hotel Lo it's some Hotel it's a [Music] hotel it has started drizzling I'm done you can see that green allover kololo my goodness God just help me guys it has just started [Music] Drizzling goodness I need your prayers need your prayers beautiful Apartments there very many apartments let me give you a good view all those are apartments Apartments I think up there there are those are residentials guys even me this is my very first time to come this side of kololo but trust me this is the place for the rich High income earners yes this is their place bethel house yeah I can't tell the flag is it which flag is that an ambassy there as you know Ugandans we are very hospitable welcome everyone that you seen I'm also seeing another embassy in and what have realized what have realized here there are many embassies I think most of the embassies have their offices here so right on my side on my right hand side I'm having Libya anyone who wants to go to Libya you're looking for a Visa there embassy is here Embassy of the state of Libya to Uganda yeah that's it as I've told you we are going to find many embassies here in kololo I'm also seeing another Embassy uh Embassy the Arab Republic of Egypt Egypt so this is the embassy here good afternoon bye thank you thank [Music] you guys I'm the only person walking I think everyone that bypass me is wondering what is this lady doing this side with the camera oh the place is really calm very calm and the security is really tight security is really tight um an embassy there Rwanda High commission that's Rwanda there so if you're Ugandan uh you don't need a visa for you to go to Rwanda just your national ID you're good to go so which route am I going to take am I going up down I'm seeing a flag of the United States of America of the United States of America and there is that side let me first go little bit this side I want to see what's really this [Music] side guys luckily enough the rain stopped I I don't I don't know how it stopped but it's no longer drizzling more prayers so what I'm seeing here the 17 apartment Hotel this is an maybe so am seeing also another embassy me see D land I can't read that i think for the Dutch Dutch the environment is really really cool here I'm the I'm the only one in the road and I'm really scared at some Moment scared oh my goodness what is this I think it's a resident it is a resident there is an embassy here also the flag is there I'm not well conversed with flags of different countries but I'm just going to read the sign to know which Embassy is this Europe Europe Union ambassador residence I think this is a residence a residence for the Ambassador Indian house guys someone has just told me that I need to be very keen with my phone we might steal it and even now I'm scared very scared but let's keep going I'm just going to be Keen and I've been told this route can take you to kololo air strip kololo air strip Ambassador belge residence that is the residence of the [Music] so in my so in my conclusion so in my conclusion I can say that kololo is a place for embassies resident residences for the ambassadors even those big people in Parliament or those rich Rich big men and [Music] women hanzari house [Music] uh this road is called Prince Charles Road I think the prince of England the late and as you can see that is the embassy the embassy of [Music] Netherland Kingdom of Netherland residence you can spot the flags [Music] there it's like it's going
