you helped me get here with all your good advice about youtube and introducing me to some cool people like bald so this is what i just got in the mail is that a silver play button yes it is so what are you celebrating or something yeah yeah huge celebration i don't have any champagne but i'm just celebrating all right i guess i should say congratulations then thank you very much i don't know who to help us celebrate such a thing like having subscribers but congratulations and all your work for it so um i'm happy for you thank you very much but yeah it's uh you know i gotta celebrate the small wins you know oh it's a big win yeah but you never celebrated like i never even seen your buttons it's not it's not something to celebrate like having a high subscriber count if you make game here's what you do celebrate if you make a video that makes a difference in someone's life whether it's a viewer or someone who's in that video you put a lot of work and effort into it and kind of everything came to fruition and it made a difference that's something to celebrate now if 50 000 people click the subscribe button um because of that video that is nothing personally to go hurrah about uh i never really felt anything with the sub count i didn't even have it on for most of my youtube career um i don't even know why i have it on now in fact talking to you now makes me want to turn it off oh god please don't turn it off because you're getting all these questions about what how come a hero does have his subscribe button oh yeah why does he have his subconscious that's why i turned it on and then he's like well look at him he turned it on i wonder why and it's like well now i'm going to turn it off again oh god why did you turn off the first place was it just the mess with people uh well there's tons of reasons why subscribers actually hurt a channel especially if your content is anything but monotonous but i mean that's a that's a long story so for example briefly if you run a channel about race cars and everything you're gonna upload on your channel is about race cars sure get five million subscribers it's gonna help your channel now if one week you upload something about race cars then ten thousand people subscribe to your channel for race cars but the next week you're actually really much more of a golfing enthusiast and it's all going to be gold content you upload something about golf on that channel which is about race cars and that's why the people came to that channel to see race car content then anything you upload about golfing on that channel is dead on arrival because it's going to be pushed to your subs in the first minute that you upload it and they are not going to click on it and youtube is going to render this content irrelevant uh vista v the other content that is out there and that it will push two people on its platform uh instead so uh makes sense why uh that's ultimately why i never had the sub countdown makes sense you know what this is that that great advice that only you have given me like so i appreciate that because i've got a lot of bad advice from other youtubers but you've always given good advice i appreciate it thanks i appreciate that well this is actually that is uh this is something that a lot of people just don't understand that but uh monotony works on youtube yeah if you're a diverse creator sometimes i go hiking sometimes i eat something crazy uh sometimes i'm in one part of the world another time i mean in another part of the world it's just and generally when someone subscribes to your channel it's because of whatever you're doing in that video that day they're watching and as soon as you diverge from that then they're like you know if you you used to talk about like race cars now you're what you're still kind of golfer you know or maybe they'll even stay soft in which case they go oh it's worse oh god whenever something is pushed to them yeah and and and they don't click on it then uh then youtube is like going to keep promoting your channel so so guys if you're not going to watch every one of my videos no matter what the content is please unsubscribe right now i'll stop messing on my channel exactly keep unsubscribed i appreciate it appreciate work but and thank you for uh ruining my celebration with the play button but oh it was still fun i feel like i crashed and destroyed i'm sorry about that now you're probably feeling down oh don't don't listen oh well that's why i love you buddy you're always honest whether people like it or not most don't but yeah their problem not perfect how long did it take after you submitted it so it was pretty actually it took like just two weeks after i like uh submitted the request but then they shipped it two day air from the u.s and it took a month to get to kiev ah well i got here and it's got stuck somewhere so that's the way it is i i didn't want to carry it i passed hundred thousand was in malaysia i decided like if i if we go somewhere very stable i will do it then i forget about it i will do maybe even once we are in turkey or when we will come back 2022 we will come back for supreme because we already have a bank ticket and um from there we are this time going to turkey okay somewhere i'm going by nice yeah if you go to turkey audrey yeah we should go together to my family that would be very fun i would love it i'd and you were like oh no you guys are gonna hit 50k and for me at that time 50k seemed like such a huge number and now we're so close to it so you just got your plaque which means you guys are so close i mean literally by the time this uploads you'll for sure be over 50 000 subscribers and it grew from yeah what was it like a year ago like uh like three times yeah it's crazy and that uh that malu malu pasakuda uh adventure that was the first time that we ever like did something together but also my first time i've ever had like a sponsored stay at like a five-star resort and that was next to you guys yeah and then a super luxury yacht yeah oh man that yacht trip was amazing like so long i'll cut in some video over here so people can see but that was so cool that you guys were going to go there to basically not even for your youtube channel but just to be like videographers and then you're like have this whole giant yacht that's empty with only one other couple maybe johnny can get it right along and that yeah and i think i'd only like i think at that time i might have had like 50 no i probably had like 20 000 subscribers because the [ __ ] videos have started to to kind of spike up but that was kind of the start of you know working with brands and working with um you know these hotels and companies and it was it was fun it was awesome yeah man awesome congrats we knew we knew this was it when you said that you wanted to show us something so we're gonna have to do this like for you when you when you hit 100k so guys watching subscribe to chaneller yeah yes thank you and we those is because you appeared partly you appeared in my videos and people liked you and took a liking to you and you're a cool guy and um personable guy and then so people came over to your channel like if you were like didn't have like personality in charm no one would have come over yeah so uh you did it yourself just like i gave you a platform a little bit wider platform but it's down to your personality that you've got 100 000 people who are willing to wait for the next crappy upload that you're gonna make guys next crappy upload is coming soon so make sure you subscribe oh speaking of waiting for uploads people are waiting for to be fair even this call took us like 10 tries to get wi-fi so we can blame it on the siberian internet see me yeah but i don't think my video is working i
