coffee time all right we got the coffees let's  give it a try coffee time boys okay you guys so we're in the botanical park of  cadiz and you just notice all the different types   of plants here very diverse this part of spain um  can support these more tropical like plants as you   see here and a lot of these plants you guys are  not native to spain so you think where did they   come from well they came from the americas in the  colombian exchange christopher columbus brought   certain things in his voyages over to the americas  and they brought things back from the americas   including a lot of different plants and so that's  why you see here in the costa del sol all these   different plants that you might not see elsewhere  in spain so here we go you guys here's a sign that   says these palm trees are from california mexico  uh so like i said not native to spain they are   from the americas and they came here in historical  times when the colombian exchange was established   here in this botanical garden here in cadiz  we're going to check out these waterfalls   up here look at this wow incredible we walked  through here last night but we couldn't see it   yeah they usually certain times they only have  their bottles check it out you guys amazing   wow look at this very beautiful all right you guys well you can go up let's check  it out come on tag join us on this adventure wow oh my god that is the atlantic ocean you guys mainland  spain over there what do you think man that's   awesome man i'm telling you this is awesome  just you guys this waterfall watch check out   this waterfall how cool is that that is amazing  guys look at that tropical paradise here in cadiz you guys there's just nothing like  being out in this fresh air here i am espana hold on guys i gotta check this out real quick  you can go underneath these caves here wow amazing guys come on let's go let's go  look at this wow this is awesome the grotto you guys gosh this is where  the magic happens that is awesome guys it's like being in the magical cave  almost wow imagine if you explored   this this was like brand new and you had  just explored this for the first time check it out all right off to the next stop  let's go all right so check this out you guys   this is the old colonial port of cadiz and out  there is a little peninsula an island where the   spanish had built up fortresses to defend against  the invading english pirates all throughout the   16th 17th and 18th century so this has a lot  of war history and ultimately this was the port   that was the main port that served between the  americas and the old world of spain and going   to the new world of the americas so just look at  these fortifications here paris is a fortified   city dating back 3 100 years or over starting  with the phoenicians the busy gods the romans   and then um the muslims and then  finally the christians and the catholics okay all right you guys this is  the castillo santa catalina   check out this old spanish architecture you  see these uh church styles a lot and the   route from mexico to the americas up through  california the spanish from the english so   that is quite interesting really cool inside here  we're surround like a little island-esque future   let's go check it out let's see if we can get some  views from the ocean wow look at that inside of   old fortress more than 400 years old let's check  this out you guys fortress we're gonna get some   views of the ocean up here we're on a fortress  this is awesome one of two main fortresses here   in this fortified city of cadiz let's check  it out wow this is free to come to you guys fresh air you guys the ocean breeze so it looks like we can go inside this  chapel let's check it out kapia in spanish   all right we have stairs here awesome a little  chapel pretty cool huh something interesting are these like marble statues here you guys look at these white buildings  now patricia and look at this white sand beach   this is playa caleta i think and she's from uh   from colombia travis guys back there making  videos so we're gonna head up this way you   guys we're gonna go to the other castle  which is there in the distance castillo day   san sebastian all right you guys we're going  to castillo de san sebastian la caleta which   refers to the beach let's go travel attica  patricia let's go get pumped up awesome guys   this is awesome cannot wait to do this wow what a  party let's check it out paseo fernando quinones gazpacho gazpacho i love gazpacho gazpacho wow mira la playa look at this wow caddies is amazing guys okay you guys you see the the tide  is very low right now it's early so   as the day goes on the tide's slowly gonna rise but look at the coast from this area so that is  the modern caddis that way you guys that's the   there's a really nice wide beach there it's more  commercialized of course and we are still in the   historic center and we are at like the end of a  peninsula here which has a fortress as i've said   we're gonna go check it out let's go okay wow you guys we're uh getting close to  this castle out here on this little island   the tide seems to be rising i found travel at a  guy guys what did you see did you see the castle   this is no i have not been there but this is  amazing guys this is amazing just think you can   walk all the way up here during the day when the  tide is low and then the tide comes in at night   and this all turns into a seed this is interesting  amazing to me it's the atlantic ocean you guys so   let's go patricia nuestro ultra youtuber amigita all right guys so we can't get  inside the castle of san sebastian   it's locked but i can walk down on  the tide here so this is really cool all right i got a maybe a few hours before  the tide goes up and what i want to do is   get out here to show you guys the atlantic  ocean check out the walls wow incredible   so this castle is a lot bigger than  it looks once you get up close to it check it out you guys like how the spanish  built these castles right into the into the   seabed here is incredible and here you see this  is like the old foundation of what was possibly   other castles because you gotta remember with  all the naval battles and bombardments by   foreign invaders here over the years in the 16th  17th 18th century they often had to reconstruct   and so these are the remnants hundreds of  hundreds of years of remnants of history here hola check it out we have more remnants old  foundations perhaps this is from roman times even   thousands of years old perhaps and then  the old fortification san sebastian so that way is the mediterranean sea in africa  and the territory of gibraltar in the distance   and that way is the vast atlantic ocean  the azores islands which are owned by   portugal and the canary islands behind  me behind this massive castle structure fresco my okay oh me wow action is returning to cadiz that's good to  see that's good to see what do you think about   that cat man yeah this is the life it's uh slowly  returning the music fiesta maybe someday i hope so   uh have you seen that a lot in spain over the  years well uh it used to be here like people were   singing dancing a lot here but yeah now it's  kind of like for one year it has been shut down   yeah so have you seen a lot of that in malaga  or other parts of andalusia travel attica   i've seen some flamenco like this but this guy  had a definitely distinct style and what i really   liked was he had an unbelievable passion guys  you can see the way he was delivering the music   yeah he was really passionate about it and he was  telling his story and that is the the main thing   that he was doing he was telling an amazing story  with his music and his voice so you guys see the   dilapidated buildings here that well undergo lots  of weathering with the elements here because it's   very very hot in summer and there's also a humid  humidity effect and some say this city in some   ways resembles havana cuba in fact there was a  movie james bond die another day that was filmed   here and they were trying to resemble in the movie  havana cuba and it's these colonial spanish cities   that you see throughout the caribbean central  and south america that are very similar to   what you see here with these buildings very  interesting so as i was saying earlier guys   this is a very fortified city and you can see  here this is just a continuation of the fortified   wall with the cathedrals in the background and  the walls just continue into modern the modern   part of cadiz new kariz and so right behind me is  what you see of the colonial city the casco antigo   all behind me with all the treasures in history  right behind me and wow just look at the atlantic   ocean it's looking very very beautiful no way a  lizard you guys so karis also has this good local   cuisine i've been recommended lots of seafood  dishes here it looks like they have iberian lizard   i think that is rather cheap try that man i gotta  have some lizards and look at this nice terraza   here people from caddies enjoying their time out  eating wow look at look at this building here   all right we got the 1906 the straigh  galicia the canita cheers boys salud salud travel attica has never tried  in 1906. you want to try   yeah give me that 1906. all right is it really  from 1906. yeah go back in time here we go guys not bad not bad quite good i like it look at these   smooth too look at these assay tunas  you guys i love me some acai tunas best starter best tapa to start a meal always  all right guys let's try this uh this pork here   definitely porky let's try the tortilla camaron they got little pieces of shrimp  in there it's good crunchy let's try it first time already of the year that creamy tomatoey taste  it's nice and cold on a hot day   we got the bacon bits and olive oil in there look  at that this is among my favorite food in spain i still um team gazpacho aquifo gazpacho   i know ellie it's the gazpacho anderson he is  like the uh ambassador of gazpacho gazpacho all right guys this is the enzaladiade  pulpo let's see oh there's little chunks   of pupa right there oh wow you see  that oh that's the poop all right that's one of my favorite  dishes and it has a potatoes and   mayonnaise and some spicy sauce pretty  good pretty good not bad for two euros me
