Boarding Norwegian Bliss - ARE WE OUT OF A JOB?!!

yeah we're here at the Port of Los Angeles we're gonna get on the Bliss it's the first time we've ever sailed from the West Coast so exciting well Ahoy their cruises and welcome to Los Angeles yes we're cruising from the West Coast for the first time ever and we are super excited we've got all of the family along with us so join us as we board this five night cruise down to Mexico on the west coast we're really excited let's go on the ship shall we oh my gosh so that was so quick it's a bit chaotic at first when we're dropping off our bags but getting on the ship it's like 10 a.m I think it's the earliest I've ever got on a ship which is crazy she didn't have passengers on her though because she was um it was a quick three night cruise from Alaska I think so she had no passengers on board here I think that's why we're getting on so early so fingers crossed our rooms and things are ready but that was so easy and quick let's go Bliss time I'm so excited I can't wait to see Oscar's reaction to everything and I can't wait to eat all of the food got drinks packages we're gonna drink eat have an amazing time let's go oh my gosh this is going to be a proper little family holiday I can't wait I want to get my drinks package on and buy drinks package I mean coffee package yes Starbucks please first stop I'm so excited right now it feels very strange getting on at a brand new Port we haven't done before especially all here in the West Coast that was so quick that was brilliant to absolutely brilliant let's go here we go getting on the ship whoop whoop before our cruise on the Norwegian Bliss we spent a week with our family in Newport Beach it was incredible we hired the most beautiful Airbnb which we lovingly nicknamed The Castle it had three bedrooms for all of our family and our friend Steph as well as a hot tub on the roof it was absolutely beautiful we were fascinated by all of the houses in Newport Beach they were absolutely stunning and like something from a movie we spent our days chilling on the beach and watching the beautiful Californian sunsets and we also tried our first ever s'mores night on Survivor we also visited Hollywood Disneyland and much more including going on a wheel and dolphin watching tour we got to see so many amazing Dolphins it was the best time with our most loved ones anyway back to the cruise good morning Oscar morning did she sleep well yeah like I had to go to sleep today that's good did you see the wheels this morning yeah we saw some whales how awesome is your outfit today it's good I like it I got this hat from Sassy one bye now well good morning Cruisers and welcome to cardboard on the West Coast of Mexico it's the first time we've been here it's the first time we've ever done a West Coast Cruise in fact just a little bit of an explanation we're here with our family so this is more of a holiday than sort of a vlogging trip but we are going to put a vlog up hello Oscar are you gonna say hi hello Oscar good morning good morning are you hungry John some breakfast yeah I want some breakfast today it's actually a nice day today instead after that we saw some whales we saw whales really nice and relaxing nice and right over there there's still Lighthouse watching us yeah you can see the lighthouse in the mountains how cool is that a really cool and you can hear sea lions can you hear them barking yeah I can hear sea lion but yeah we're gonna head for breakfast now come join us we're gonna try and cover as much as our cruise in one bumper episode but first of all should we go for some breakfast yeah so come on Cruisers let's go come on let's go bye bye bye bye well good morning wow what a fabulous way to wake up this morning Kabul looks beautiful so excited to get off and explore today all packed and ready got everything we need in our bag taking towels off the ship with us got some lotion hats scarves hats and scarves we've got everything haven't we Oscar have we have we packed you as well yeah are you ready have you got everything packed let's go let's go get off and explore shall we yeah go get off into Mexico breakfast first or oh first things first breakfast of course yeah of course don't forget breakfast you don't want to starve to death we don't want to starve to death of course not yeah well baby let's go for breakfast let's go for breakfast and then go to Mexico we're not going to starve to death I'll go run a Blum and cruise if anything we're just gonna get really fat we got we got 50 50 bills you got a fifty dollar bill what for both for the queen I think Mommy and Daddy are at the door hello got super confused there for a second because the buffet on Bliss is at the front of the ship not the back let's go for breakfast starving yep so we came for breakfast in the buffet it's just a regular Buffet guys we don't need to show you around you've got all of your breakfast items show you oh we don't have to show you just fruits breakfast things American breakfast pastries toast all of that jazz waffles but David's just gone to grab an omelette there is an omelette station where you can get an omelette made which is awesome so let's have some breakfast shall we get up is it nice it's really yummy actually as well and bye bye hi Oscar hi hi sorry this morning for breakfast I got a omelette from The Omelette station and in my omelette is what's in it they they couldn't spinach and and cheese and tomatoes and tomatoes but yeah they make it all fresh for you so you can choose what you want and the guy was really funny as well he was telling jokes the whole time cheers that's really good I love that on that station should I try a bit so for my breakfast I went for something a little bit Continental because I'm a continental girl like that I went for some lovely little um what I like to call I forgot what they're called I went for croissants with some cheese and ham so I'm gonna make some lovely little sandwiches then I got a pineapple Danish as well as a blueberry muffin oh Mother Goose I do love my sandwiches made out of croissants very French even though we're in Mexico today yummy breakfast can't wait to get off now we've never been here before so let's go get some towels and then we're gonna head off on our awesome Shore Excursion let's go so in Cabo San Lucas it's a tender so we're gonna get to go and have a look at the ship let's go thank you morning wow what an amazing view of the ship this is the best thing about tendering it might take a while to get off but the views are worth it it's so exciting wow I'm right just gonna go through security and then we are in Mexico there are so many people trying to ask you to do tours and buy things that's a bit insane so we're gonna head to Senor frogs our tour doesn't start for another hour we're meeting here at the marina as we said going on an amazing catamaran includes all of the drinks and we're going to do some lovely snorkeling send your frogs time let's go Oscar the part's super busy lots of like people trying to get to do tours things like that anyway we're gonna go and have a look for our tour guide it should be along here somewhere and we're gonna go out to sea yeah let's go Oscar s oh my name is Oscar Hewitt I'm a good one please [Music] so this tour we booked through Viator so it's a separate company it's not sponsored or anything we just find them really good cheaper than Cruise Lines there is I think there's about 70 something dollars each and it's a three-hour tour including drinks and then we're gonna go snorkel so it's on a catamaran and yeah super cheap but half the price you can get it on cruise ships or definitely thumbs up from us a bit of saving money there cheers guys got the rum punches [Music] so he came about 45 minutes from where we were to a beach just around the corner and we're going to jump in now and have a little swim see if we can see any fish no I have lots of cocktails guys they are very quick with them it's been fabulous so far there's toilets on here life jackets flippers all of that jazz as well and all these snorkeling equipment Gosh guys let's do this shall we push you in it's very cloudy yeah I don't think you're gonna see much oh actually it's not that cold I was really nervous I was really nervous because it was it was lovely and very murky though it's not great for snorkeling but this is delicious the water is beautiful [Music] hello everybody it's Ben with k5fm radio Caribbean Pearson Tunes CPU beautiful where we're going to swim back to the ship now because you can't really see anything it is lovely and refreshing but it's hard swimming with a bloody life jacket on oh so we're back from our tour in cardboard what a lovely deer we've had that tour was pretty good it was okay we were a little disappointed with the snorkeling because it was a snorkeling tour but the actual catamaran was lovely and we got free food and we got included drinks so we had lots of rum punches feeling a little bit now just look at this Sunset guys it's absolutely spectacular it's so beautiful and warm and lovely but yeah lovely deer that catamaran was really good fun ah so lucky to be here having the best time with our family especially spending time with Oscar it's been fantastic and a very good morning from our next quarter of Ensenada another brand new port for us we're here very early in the morning we're parked next to the beautiful Disney Wonder doesn't she look lovely anyway join us again today for some exciting adventures and in the port I'm gonna get back on it enjoy some of the entertainment including the most amazing show at Sea in our opinion as well as loads of yummy food dude let's go super excited good morning David another day on the Norwegian politicals good morning I've got coffee for you Ben thank you little star books I love the fact we've got the little Premium Plus Package because it includes just Starbucks coffees in a morning yummy do you sleep all right man I slept good it is a noisy cabin though isn't it I think I figured out where we are we're just above the toilets that are outside the district brew house so especially on an evening about every 30 seconds you hear the gush of a toilet flushing which is really loud to actually treat yourself you can literally actually if you stand right here you can feel it vibrate at the floor that's how loud it is but yeah it was pretty noisy last night but apart from that I slept okay it kind of stopped around one or two o'clock in the morning and then uh we had a little lion didn't we we did a uxo for Ensenada today yeah don't know what to expect I've heard a few things about it I've heard it's good for food and it's good for wine as well apparently so we're gonna have a little Explorer of the pot we don't have too much planned for this one I'm gonna kind of just go go with the floor today and then maybe get some food as well oh my gosh guys but yesterday when we weren't filming because remember we're here with our family we're having a vacation and we're having the best time it's made us appreciate how amazing cruising is again just not to film and do much it's been fantastic and especially to spend time with family but yesterday somebody vomited all the way down the ship all over our balcony it was a complete mess oh my gosh it was disgusting it was on my clothes on my um my swim clothes oh it was yucky ugh there's a toilet in your cabin geez how can you even miss that but that is disgusting the crew were amazing quickly cleaned up I felt so bad for them we were like I'm so sorry you have to do this because it's just oh one of those disgusting things but anyway let's go find Oscar and the family and have an amazing day morning Oscar morning good morning everybody my name is Oscar Hume good morning to the world and I'm on the Bliss today it's been nice here on the bus and goodbye now first things first before we get off we're gonna nip up to the observation Lounge we're going to grab some little snacks in the observation Lounge I've got like a little snack thingama Bob oh my gosh we've been eating so much food on the ship we ate lots of the specialty restaurants were ate at Los Lobos last night and it was absolutely fantastic this morning I went for a somewhat later breakfast two croissants ham and cheese as well as a blueberry muffin treat yourself in the breakfast morning call me a French man and hit me over the head with a baguette because that is delicious yummy anyway it's time to get off let's go oh here we are we got another part for us oh my gosh this is steep Beth this is very steep careful foreign [Music] part let's go welcome to Ensenada yay welcome so very interestingly on the way here our guide said that they offer all of this M2 as they do on the cruise ship and a 60 discount because it's written by locals it's exactly the same to us so I think we're going to jump on one of the 20 tourists so it should have cost 61 argon bear that in mind that you can get them cheaper than shore excursions on board but they don't guarantee to get you back in the shipping time so make sure you do leave early enough to get back leave a couple of hours at least wow guys ensenata is not what I expected it to be it's really sad really it's it's filthy there's lots of child Beggars and there's even syringes on the floor we're really watching where we're walking it was a syringe there with blood in it which is just oh it's horrible to see the chart back doesn't matter we're aware this all happens and we're very lucky to do this as a as a job I guess to be able to cruise but stop yeah this is it's not nice it's very run down on the street shouting ear to do things so it's a bit overwhelming we're gonna head back to the port area we've got some cash out now because we didn't have enough cash they only take cash for the tours so we're gonna head back to the port area now and just take one of the tours because we feel a little bit safer just because there are so many beggars and there's there's a few people who are obviously on drugs and things walking around it's quite dangerous this is not a nice Cruise pot I felt safer in Roatan which we were there a few weeks ago which is always voted the worst cruise port personally I think this is a lot worse just not a nice Vibe here lots of Beggars lots of people asking you for things but quite aggressively the main Port area so the street there was apparently the main shopping district no not good so we're gonna head back and do a tour instead so we bought our tickets and it's getting a little bit dodgy now guys the lady took our tickets off us and she's trying to force us to sit down and have some Naturals and drinks which we don't want we just want to do the tour like we paid for so this is Chris is crazy guys I haven't been report like this before it's it's quite frankly awful we're just waiting to see if this actually pulls off now I feel like we're in a bit of a scam we'll see let's see what happens hey wow so after waiting for about 20 minutes we went in ASDA to say we need to go now we're not waiting any longer and she said she was waiting for us to come and get her she told us to wear there and we asked three times we're finally going at least the bus looks okay which is all right so the Busters exist this is very high my gosh it's worse than Norway it's terrifying my gosh that was an interesting Journey lots of hair pin turns there's a lot further than I thought it was going to be so we came down to have a look at the the gusher it's one of the biggest in the world I think it's the second biggest in the world after Hawaii it's about a 45 minute an hour Journey so it is quite far we're gonna go down have a look at it now let's go so shopping area is actually a little bit calmer we're not being accosted which is nice but they've got lots and lots of Mexican things it's got lots of clothes some barrels lots of drinks and cocktail places it's a little bit overwhelming actually but it is a lot nicer than it was at the top it's a little bit more civilized down here which is great but yeah lots of souvenirs pharmacies all of that Josh you can get all here just make sure that where you're eating and where you're drinking safe because such a tour guide said you can get food poisoning fake boost which isn't good so we just walk through the flea market I think the word I describe it was intense lots of things for sale lots of food items I talk I took us to some places that she recommends like she said she will get food poisoning from so that's a that's a great start Avatar isn't it oh hey hey there you go oh the guys wasn't too big today because it looks like it's low tide but it's still very lovely it's nice having a beer now in one of the bars cheers treat yourself after a long drive back it was time to get on the Bliss for more fun uh we're gonna go karting and then do the kids come and after lunch after the kids we're going to go Kitty cup again kids club again and I'm gonna have lots of fun I'm ready for this let's go saw Oscar and his dad headed for the go-kart experience but it is quite expensive 15 per person per goal it was really fun in Wing one you won yeah [Music] yeah Oscar loved the water parking slides as you can see [Music] Mr fridge whoa was that awesome then we worked up an appetite for dinner so we headed to the local bar and grill so I got the nachos which is comes with a spinach and artichoke dip really really delicious creaming cheesy hot as well and goes really well with the nachos yum I got the barbecue chicken wings they're a little bit cold actually but we've had these a few times and they're super tasty oh well knock me down with a feather that's delicious I love the law so you can come here for real quick food it's always very good I've got the fish and chips now you can't really call it fish and chips it's a little bit of blasphemy here to be putting French fries on your fish and chips but we'll forgive them their fish is really nice the fries are good as well but they're just cold that's the only thing but it's a great pup lunch I'm so excited I got the Wrangler Burger it's basically a barbecue burger with barbecue sauce cheese jalapenos that is not broccoli it's delicious before he's tried it look at the Blum inside of that she's bigger than my head oh it's amazing give me a wrench and call me the chief engineer because that is delicious very good indeed oh my gosh so excited we're gonna go and see it tonight six I can't believe there is a full Broadway musicals on the ships this one has six and Jersey Boys and six is the full-length production and we love it we've seen it in London we've seen it in New York and now we're seeing it on the Sea on the ocean I can't believe there's two full yeah two full-length Broadway shows so this is about an hour 15 and Jersey Boys is an hour 45.
amazing hi guys just realized we haven't actually showed you around our cabin yet here on Norwegian Bliss so should we give you a little tour let's start by saying that they are really well laid out and and they just feel really comfortable that's what we've really enjoyed about it the bathroom space it's really well laid out as well I think it's quite big for a cruise ship bathroom this is just a standard balcony cabin number 9184 yep 9184 lots and lots of storage space in the bathroom nice big spacious shower and also um just very bright in there so we've really liked the bathroom no plastic shower curtains oh it's nice no plastic shower curtains just next to here is the aircon control and I can safely say the air con Works fantastically and a nice full-length mirror as well this is a connecting cabin to our family next door we didn't actually realize that that was a little surprise lovely big desk area lots of power outlets you've got three North American and one European Outlet here nice big huge mirror area again really bright little stool under here that you can pull out also doubles up oh there's Oscar's ears also doubles up as a table but yeah just again lots of like little storage spaces for your knickknacks there's more shelving down here there's these two cupboards they're not very deep but you can hide things away so you can keep your room looking pretty pretty tidy which is what we like to do a lot of people have asked about this fan a few of you have spotted it on quite a few of our videos we bring this with us everywhere we've got it from Amazon super super light that's what we liked about it and it's big as well so it gives us a nice breeze and also creates some noise in the night and we take that everywhere with us a bit of white noise nothing better there's a fridge under there as well and just behind David is the Wardrobe there's plenty of space half of it has shelves with a safe and the other half this is for hanging space but we're not going to show you in there because it's an absolute mess I already filmed at Davidson oh dear oh no uh some cheeky little hiding spaces as well there's two huge drawers underneath this area so these pull out and you can just see I've got my shoes in there lots of storage space these are really big I think what they do is if somebody else is sleeping on here they store the bedding on here but if not extra storage it's fantastic there's one on each side this sleeps up to four people I think it would be a tight squeeze with four of you it's just the right amount of space for me and Ben but if there was four of us we'll be literally on top of each other but there would be kids so there's a bed there and there's a bed that pulls down you can see the the hole in the roof there yeah the Pullman bed and the steward will make it up for you every evening so you don't have to have it down the whole time TV on the wall it has a couple of live channels not allowed to be honest it has some on-demand content we gotta pay for everything I would bring your own TV with you on a USB or on a laptop you're on TV with you well you know what I mean like you're on TV programs maybe bring them on a USB or a laptop or something especially if you've got kids because I think they'd struggle with finding stuff on the Telly and oh my God Stanley Ben what are you doing here well Princess Cruises his Moonlighting on Norwegian Naughty Bear Naughty Bear but he's enjoying it the massive king size bed that's lovely and comfortable by the side of each bed are two lights as well as a USB socket saw I can plug my phone in and just by the beds there's a little bedside cabinet as well where you can put all of your medicine or yeah things yeah they're not huge but they're enough space to pop few things in there that you need on a night but the one great thing about this cabin which again we were so surprised about because we didn't realize that we booked this is the balcony let's have a look so the balcony is super spacious is this an extended balcony or is this the standard size I'm trying to Rack my brain to the last time we're on this ship well we definitely didn't book a bit okay this is just what we're giving and we picked this cabin as well but it's huge yeah it's massive you can see it's got little table and chairs here but there's still plenty of space to do all sorts out you could lunch you could dance you could host a seminar if you wanted out here oh look at that Sunset David gorgeous isn't it as we leave the beautiful oh I can't remember we are in Sonata oh my gosh Baja California in Mexico it's a little bit chilly now I'm not gonna lie don't believe that Mexico gets this chili uh this time of year but it does we're just above the Promenade walkway area so you do sometimes get a little bit of noise from here this is the district brew house it's not been too bad on this Cruise like we said earlier the biggest noise has been the toilet from outside the district brew house so I do remember that when you book this cabin but look at that behind you actually we can open up the cabin to make a super long cabin oh yeah Parts look at that so that's uh Steven and Sophie and Oscar's amazing yeah so if you are traveling with family ask the crew and they'll open it all up for you oh isn't it pretty the chandelier I think it's supposed to look like a whale is that correct because this ship was all themed around Alaska Air in nature and I'm pretty sure I think it's supposed to look like a will or a tail I don't know what do you think it looks like so the only thing that sucked about this Cruise guide is that it's been far too short just five nights which really isn't enough in my opinion especially when we've traveled so far to come here as well just gonna book another one I need a perk meal I'm feeling a little bit tired after the port today so I'm gonna go and get a coffee from Starbucks the Starbucks is actually included on the premium plus package so this is a new drinks package that Norwegian have and it pretty much includes every single drink on the ship including Starbucks and champagne and you can even get full bottles of wine when you're dining in a restaurant as well the package was a hundred and fifty dollars on top of the normal free at Sea package which does sound a lot but it also included Wi-Fi as well which was really what we wanted it for and the Starbucks are a little perk thank you so much got a little refresher drink it's bad when we walk in and they know who we are now because we've had so many they go hi Ben hi David we just gotta mention the crew guys the crew have been absolutely spectacular people are thinking it's so funny the crew have been absolutely spectacular on the ship there have been absolutely amazing each and every one of them have really made the cruise and most importantly they've made such a little fuss over Oscar every time we go and he is just loving it he knows half of the crew by name now he loves going up and seeing them we've got a list of about five people to say goodbye to tonight which is amazing that crew are superb it's been great we've had fantastic food as well I know we haven't covered a lot of it but we really did want to keep this as a family holiday just because we haven't done a non-forming cruising my God years and it's been amazing especially spending time with Oscar and Steph as well from Sean and stuff it's been really lovely and we've had a fantastic time I'm absolutely good to be getting off guys we're going to go pack now how bad is that it sucks I love going on cruises with families it's the perfect holiday and that's why we chose Norwegian we booked and paired for this all of ourselves we love Norwegian there's such a good Cruise Line they're a solid Cruise Line and I haven't filmed once again so I'll pick some up for Norwegian great family line for everyone did you enjoy the cruise yep what did you enjoy most about it Oscar oh boy the sick show the sexual it was amazing wasn't it we're gonna go see it again tonight aren't we yeah I'm also going soon aren't we we're gonna do laser quests yes are you excited so what else did you like about the cruise uh I also liked um when we went out to Mexico it was good wasn't it what about the food yeah the food actually really I'm gonna increase it by as well do you want to tell me about the crew what are the crew like on the ship Oscar they're really nice the crew is nice he's your favorite International is amazing wasn't he yeah he was the assistant Mitra D at Cagney picture with them we got to meet the Queens oh my gosh guys we were all so nervous weren't we were you nervous I'll picture with them as well didn't we yeah but incredibly talented cast we've seen it on the west and Broadway they were just as good they were fantastic if not better they were on fire tonight such a good choice yeah we're six oh my gosh David when you walk into your cabin after you didn't have time to do it before the show God look at the state of it somebody's been in and came in and trashed the place as you can see we've created a little bit of a dilemma for ourselves at the moment and we do need to pack it's now getting on to what time is it harpist it's 9 p.m 9 p.m but it's a mess and it's a mess and we need to get our kisses out so we're gonna get this done before we
