[Music] uh [Music] wow [Music] shall we calculate [Music] [Music] hello everybody right now we're moving to carpathians to ride some bikes i'm going with timur and with vanya when you say hi to the camera so yeah i think this trip is going to be quite a hard one because i actually managed to take so much stuff with me that i can feel that my bike is maybe one and a half times heavier than it could be without the stuff i took going through ukrainian villages so here we are in live now we have a stop for half an hour what do you think about our trip timur i want to sleep so here's how my kit looks so far so i have my hammock with a mosquito net and with a tent with a rain cover and i have a sleeping bag there including also some pieces of clothing in those bags waterproof bags we decided to stop for some coffee and now we're going to move along the road to them to your ramcha we're going to aramche soon on our bikes [Applause] [Music] we have came about 15 kilometers are out of 50 so we still have 35 kilometers to go we have a little pit stop right now [Music] getting quite hard because we're getting up so i got the first puncture and right now my task is to change the camera inside of the wheel of the bike which i'm doing first time in my life solely before that i was going to stations where professionals did it for me but right now i've got to figure out myself how to do that we finally managed to get the camera out of the wheel now i have to place the new one and start pumping it right [Music] and we're on the road again finally a downhill god damn [Music] i just looked up on the map and i saw that our destination point is in 350 meters so i'm not able to go uphill anymore my muscles start to be painful to the extent that i can't use them anymore so uh yeah for today i'm done for sure let's just hope that tomorrow we'll be able to sit down on the bike again so yeah so we have finally arrived to the place in yarmchi first and last night for me to spend in the in the apartment after that i'm going to be slick sleeping in the hammock here you can see one of our traditional ukrainian churches the history of which i got no idea about so i'm not just going to so i'm just going to say that it's a beautiful traditional ukrainian church no history this time just woke up it's day number two and we've got about 52 kilometers to go now to vergovina [Music] [Music] what i have just realized is that the wind is terribly stopping me because i have a lot of objects mounted on my bike cows [Music] foreign foreign [Music] walking by fear again because uphill is killing me god no i was looking at it thinking wow a downhill finally and then it's just a little downhill and then uphill again sake [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so here is how the hammock setup looks so far i have no idea how to install a hammock but at this point it works anyways so this night i'm going to spend here putting my ass down first oh damn quite comfortable so far we'll see how i feel in the morning because it's an unusual position to sleep okay the camera is now inside and that's the mosquito net not to get bit by insects so summing up the two days uh we actually rode about 55 kilometers and here we are right now in uh how the it's called oh veraco winner right tomorrow is going to be a bit of rest we're going to go around the mountains here maybe barbecue something and the day after tomorrow including the next day we're going to go back to columbia and head back to odessa [Music] oh [Music] so today we're staying in virgo vina for one day tomorrow we're going to head out wait is this time lapse no it's not time lapse okay can we calculate can we go we can we [Music] [Music] right now actually my bike feels much lighter without all the gear in front in the front wheel so yeah so i got used to physical activity with the weight and right now without it right now without it i don't feel much tired tiredness tiredness man [Music] [Music] [Music] those uphills man i'm not gonna waste my energy on that [Music] unfortunately there are still places in the forest where people and just live hidden garbage right here which i think is unacceptable [Music] oh what the heck let's check it on the map yeah that's the exact way i have to get over this fence okay that plant that if you touch you feel the burn on your skin no i can't [Music] so how far is the bike trip is going for you timur you know i love it so we're heading out to the next point we're going to ride about 40 kilometers today [Music] so [Music] wow [Music] here we go again [Music] [Music] yeah boy this is what we were struggling for oh that's good that's a really good feeling man that's proof [Music] [Music] i really don't want for this uphill to stop i mean downhill [Music] man uphills are worst but downhills are the best and what i have in mind right now is that for each joy that you want to get you have to make your way through the struggle that you have to fight for for that joy [Music] [Music] here's one of the local souvenir shops where you can get some plates like this some grass i think i don't know what that is and a head of a deer that's good i'm slowly burning man it's a bad idea to be exposed in the sun at this time of the day and at this time of the year so we just had to move out earlier if only it was a little cooler a cup full of ice mint light lime cold cold cold swimming pool oh my god i'm not used to this okay let's get some water grenita di amazing got some water from some guy who allowed us to get in and use his well i feel better now because i used some cold water we have about one kilometer left to uphill and then till the end of this goddamn trip is going to be only downhills as the map says god of the bike anyways this cardia is too much for me at this point yeah yeah this uphill looks like thank god it's not a long uphill i can already see the level going down chilling with guys on the side of the road looking up for a place to sleep tonight and we're trying to find a place with a close proximity to the forest so that first of all i can place a hammock there and secondly that we can have a walk in the natural natural forest yeah so uh we have ridden we have ridden uh i don't know how much about 40 kilometers to this place we only have 25 kilometers left which is really small compared to what we have written already that's crazy i'm quite surprised that i actually managed to put this distance through with all this weight and with my unpreparedness i wasn't i wasn't really physically prepared for such trip including the weight on the bike that's some crazy for me at least for me and mountains are not leaving the view [Applause] wow it's fabulous okay it's too dark to see but we already found the place excuse me so this is going to be our last night on this bike trip in carpathians and i'm going to sleep right here tonight boys are somewhere right there in the hotel summing up this trip i would say that i'm quite impressed by what we have done i mean that was really cool 200 kilometers in four days and tomorrow we're going to have like 28 more kilometers to go i haven't actually prepared much physically for this trip and i'm really surprised that i have managed to basically overcome all these struggles that i had especially on uphills especially on uphills man it turned out to be really hard especially having all that gear mounted on the front wheel of my bike but thanks to that weight i can actually transport my bike with a sleeping bag with the hammock and with a tent and basically sleep anywhere that has two standing trees basically these are my first steps in bike packing and i hope that in the future i will be able to step up a little bit and increase the level of preparedness for such trips [Music] so it's it's about 7 a.m and we're heading out to [Music] columbia number one [Music] [Music] so we're coming to the main highway right now we already came down the mountain completely and we're going to columbia oh wow a huge church [Music] [Music] so [Music] and here we are in columbia noble then [Music] columbia united territorial community it says [Music] [Music] so here we are on the railway station [Music] um for such a meal i paid only 110 agreements these are our last moments uh on this bike trip around carpathians i was too lazy to get the gopro from my backpack so i'm filming on my phone anyways summing up we actually rode 228 kilometers the sum up time of how much we were pedaling with all non-stop was 13 hours so that was quite a trip for me i mean that's my first time ever went out on such a long trip so yeah i'm quite proud of how it turned out to be because well yeah my structure that i have built is still steady and i'm really surprised by that because there were a lot of holes and bumps on the road and it didn't break so it's fantastic and well yeah i cannot say anything else it was just perfect and fun and interesting so i will see you later on stupid festival i'm coming back to car patients really soon like in two days so yeah a lot of interesting stuff is going to happen i'm quite sure about that so stay tuned i really hope you enjoyed this video bye foreign [Music] foreign foreign [Music] la [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] take it out [Music]
