excited to be here with all of you who are joining from East Asia countries and Australia now BF Goodrich is dedicated to providing high performance tires for those who have a passion for driving in virtually any environment with technical expertise of Motorsports experience thus we're here today to Captivate the new iconic online experience launch of BF Goodrich Advantage touring for the very first time so without further Ado please join me in welcoming BF Goodrich business model leader of East Asia and Australia Mr Tim Ho and let's see where our tires can take you let tour begin lmf here and hello everyone joining from all over the East Asia and Australia region it's great to have you all with us today so Tim from what I know BF Goodrich is a brand that has a very long history it's actually over a century old could you tell us a little bit more about the brand sure so the BF Goodrich brand has been part of the Michelin group since 1990 but the brand itself has a much longer history than that in fact the BF Goodrich brand originated in the United States over 150 years ago however in our East Asia and Australia region BF Goodrich remains a relatively new brand many countries joining us today have been selling BF Goodrich products for five years and in some cases even less I see so from my perspective I recognize BF Goodrich as the brand that has a very strong reputation in off-road performance and many people refer to the BF Goodrich Tire as the king of the off-road I totally agree but today I'd like to get to know a little bit more about their performance on paved roads so as a brand your ipf Goodrich is best known for off-road tires and off-road Motorsport but today we stay on the pavement where our performances over time are just as credible the world's first 50 and 60 series radial tires the first us-made V speed rated Performance Tire the first street legal Tire to achieve 1g of lateral acceleration and Motorsport track wins at Daytona imsa and the Lemont 24 hour these are all iconic moments of innovation and performance in the BF Goodrich history that happened on paved roads and today we add another important Milestone to that list wow that's such a long and impressive Legacy on the road Tim uh and by the way I am one of those Enthusiast drivers who seeks an adventurous lifestyle I love taking control of every driving situation and I'm always looking for fun and that exhilarating experience I think that BF Goodrich can give everyone that sense of adventure and get them out into the world and make them really enjoy it of course beef could reach offers a wide range of products to suit every driving situation whether that be on-road or off-road Tim could you give us a glimpse of the BF Goodrich product range please certainly Matthew so we start on the left hand side with the off-road range that our dealers would be very familiar with firstly the mud terrain km3 built for extreme off-road usage in mud and rock and globally launched in Australia in 2018. then our most popular Global selling Tire the all-terrain k02 built for toughness and traction and is the original equipment fitment for the Ford Ranger Raptor now I know that the off-road range has been grabbing the spotlight for many years now it's known around the world to be the best in the business but are there any other products that are Adventure ready from BF Goodrich sitting in the middle is our newest addition to the BF Goodrich range the trail Terrain a tire targeting the on-road trail segment which was launched in January 2022 our deal is joining us today should be very familiar with the trail terrain product if you are not best you get in contact with your local teams to find out more for our dealers joining us from Thailand and Korea don't worry you'll be getting your first tires in the weeks to come out that is very exciting for all of our dealers especially for those in Thailand and Korea who very soon will be able to offer such an amazing Tire to their consumers but Tim what's coming up next well finally with our on-road product offer we have the advantage range the advantage SUV and also Advantage Drive these two products have been the Mainstay of our on-road product catalog since their launch in 2016. we can see that BF Goodrich has expanded their product line over the years and has long been a market leader in performance tires for both on and off-road driving delivering the Best in Class handling bringing confidence to all drivers I myself am eager to find out what you offer BF Goodrich will bring this here Tim today we make a significant upgrade to our on-road offer replacing two existing Tire lines with just one that is suitable for all on-road vehicle applications sedan compact SUV larger SUV consumer feedback has been integral to this product launch our dealers told us that the previous advantage of Tire line had an aggressive tread design was seen as sporty and therefore perceived to be noisy our dealers also said they did not understand the drive and SUV names lastly we were missing critical dimensions in a very crowded Market in short it was not easy for our dealers to sell our on-road range this valuable feedback helped us to design and then build the new Advantage touring tire that we launched with you today and we are very confident that our dealers and consumers will love it so who is the advantage touring consumer they want to be confident in their Tire Choice and to drive with confidence they are active in their leisure time and are always looking for their next adventure they seek advice from the dealer to ensure they are buying a tire that meets their needs so the recommendation of our dealers is critical and finally they seek value for money a credible brand with trusted performances but at an affordable price so now it's time to dig a little bit deeper into the advantage touring a product designed to give confidence in any road you take backed by Toyota Vios Hyundai Sonata Mazda cx-3 and Honda CRV engineered for confident handling and braking in all conditions an asymmetric tread design with rigid tread blocks and shoulder enables responsive to 20 inch to give great coverage to all markets and a new BF Goodrich dedicated production facility to better serve the local market needs all backed by a six-year BF Goodrich manufacturer warranty welcome Harold Phillips thanks for joining us Harold hey thanks Matthew and Tim my name is Harold Phillips I'm the global general manager for BF Goodrich passenger and light truck tires uh and welcome to my virtual garage uh wanted to drop in as you prepared across the finish line for your for the launch of the BF Goodrich Advantage touring product line first and foremost I want to thank you for participating in this exciting launch of the advantage touring and thank you for your support for our brand and and our Business Partnership as you have undoubtedly heard uh this product was created from the inspiration and feedback that you guys uh provided to us great feedback on the look The naming of the product and the input of performances um that that we need to satisfy your consumers in the e2a markets uh we're we are equally uh excited about the fact that this is only our second product coming out of our Multistrada facility the first was our advantage control line which we launched in the US and 2021 and I can tell you uh our dealers absolutely love the tire and likewise you can have confidence in the advantage touring is going to be a great opportunity for you to profitably feature uh in your product screen for years to come I'm also pleased to say that Multistrada has already become a great marriage for the BF cookers brand taking our BFG Americana style and creativity built with Group Mitchell and know-how at a local modern facility and the other key point that I'd like to make is that the touring is the first of many new on-road products to come our our main aim is really to build your confidence in our on-road portfolio uh and open up new opportunities for our customers um that have grown to love the BF Goodrich brand and finally closed by saying thank you Goodrich being part of the worldwide BFG family e2a is one of our largest regions critical to the global success of the BFG brand so we really value your feedback your input and your partnership to grow together for years to come I look forward to personally meeting with many of you when when travel becomes a little less less tricky and really like to especially hear what you feel we can do taking a few questions from our live audience so Tim are you ready yes I'm ready let's do it starting with our first question which is where will the advantage touring be produced and what else is produced there okay so thanks very much for the question uh as Harold just touched on the advantage touring will be produced in our new production facility in Indonesia known as Multistrada this facility is dedicated to BF Goodrich on-road products specifically but it will also produce other Michelin group Brands across four-wheel two-wheel and truck tire segments I can give you a bit of a teaser to say watch this space for more news later in the year on further evolutions of The BFG on-road offer and I'd also like to take an opportunity to say hello to our Multistrada teams joining us today in Indonesia and a very big thank you for all of the hard work that you've done to enable us to launch this fantastic product today great now on to our second question here which is one of my biggest concerns with Advantage SUV was the mileage has this been improved Tim okay so another great question uh the topic of SUV mileage was one of the core elements targeted in the build of Advantage touring so the good news is that we are confident that you will see improvements in mileage performance on SUV Dimensions you will also see an expanded number of Dimensions to help our dealers Target a wider number of vehicles and consumers within the SUV segment excellent and next up is what is the actual launch date yes so the very important question it will differ by country but our first markets will start selling Advantage touring in May it will be best however if you refer to your local BFG teams in order to get the most accurate launch timing for others who have any
