Belpahari and Jhargram Part-2|| Ghagra Fall || Khandarani Lake || Gadrasini Hill #belpahari
Hello Friends.. In Rustic Jhargram Part1 We have shown you how we reached Jhargram And checked in Jhargram WBFDC Cottages And after having lunch we visit the Prakriti Parjatan Kendra Tribal Museum We visited Jhargram Rajbari in evening And after returning from Rajbari we enjoyed Tribal Dance Show in our resort.. Now Part -2 Now its 9.30 pm at night and we are heading for dinner
So our dinner is ready Chapati, Aloo Gobi, Paneer and Chicken Curry for our dinner menu HI..We are out for an adventure walk Vampires don't exist in jungle Out for a thrill walk in the woods of the resort Very hard to see us in the dark Very dark outside And we are walking Very close to the road outside, so nothing to be scared of Though I am scared Just walking in darkness Hoping to see some wildlife closeby Wild Animals.. nothing else Other than that I don't expect anything else Quite cold outside The resort is fenced with barbwire So no risk of wild animals getting in This is the Ramkrishna Ashram adjoining the resort The backyard is complete forest So we are ending our thrilling experience here Will see you tomorrow morning Hello Friends.. Good Morning Day 2 in Jhargram Today we are starting our journey towards Belpahari Will visit some places in Belpahari Like Ghagra WaterFall, Khandarani Lake and Gadrasini Hill And if time permits we will visit Kanak Durga Mandir and Chilkigargh Rajbari So lets start the Journey... So we have reached Ghagra Waterfalls We parked our car at the entrance of the falls Main Falls is few steps ahead So these holes in local language are called "Ghagra" From that only this place is named as "Ghagra Falls" These are created naturally Will proceed ahead Proceeding towards the main area of the falls We are now at Tarafeni Barrage This is also called Tarafeni Dam And will go towards the river This river is the same river on which the Ghagra Falls was And in which this dam is built Getting a good view from here Water is also present to some extent Its winter so the water level is low, may be its more in rainy season Looks like the water level rises in monsoons according to the gates Water is scarce on the other side, as it is barraged here Now will take the view from the other side of dam This is the other side of dam Water is very less this side Hello friends..So we have reached Khandarani Lake
Can see the lake behind The surroundings of the Lake is very beautiful and the lake is huge covering a lot of area And there is a small dam by the lake And small hills on the backdrop of the lake Now its almost late afternoon A very nice experience A beautiful lake in Belpahari Now walking towards the road by the Khandarani Lake It looks like a bridge but underneath it looks be the dam Yes its the dam actually Very beautiful place in the backdrop of small hills Hello.. so we have reached Gadrasini Hill trek point And the car is parked in the parking lot Our parents who are with us will not go for the trek Me and my wife will go for the Hill top trek So lets see how far we can achieve The trek is moderate but there is steep climb The road to this place was also not smooth So lets see So this is the trek route And as you can see the route is inclined at 45 degree angle Much steep climb So we are starting to climb Lets see how far we can climb So we reached the temple point Which looks like the top of the hill But the actual hill top is a way farther So will see if we can reach that farthest point So this the Basudev god's temple as its written.. Lord Krishna is worshipped here Now we will approach the hill top Very steep path ahead We are trying to cross the area Can see the plains below with small hilltops A bit slippery but manageable There is some more steep climb and then the top of the hill Awesome, Superb view from here, can see the entire plains from here So we have reached.. Gadrasini Hilltop Oustanding.. A Shiv temple is present here Just look at the view from here We are in the hilltop now Just beside the Shiv temple Can see the distant Khandarani Lake from here which we visited earlier And on this side we can see the plains of Belpahari and Jharagram areas So now as you can see Its 4.30 pm and the sun is setting behind We have reached the hilltop quite late Its getting foggy in the surroundings If we attempted some other day then the view would have been clear But now its getting foggy this twilight So we have completed our trek and climbed down Our Gadrasini Hill trek was super successful And we are walking towards our car So that will be the end of tour attractions for today But we will visit some places tomorrow which we cannot visit today So will make them tomorrow
