Hello, good morning. Good morning.  What are you doing up so early?   It's a beautiful morning. Sure it's beautiful. It's about 6.30, sun still didn't quite come  up. We're in a beautiful anchorage and we had a beautiful night, it was a  very nice night a little bit of movement just   like when getting rocked in the arms of your  mother when you were a baby I think, although   we can't remember that. The squid boats arecoming back in. They go out fishing all night.  I can hear their pop-pop engines just  coming past, i'll go and show you that.

Yes you go back to sleep. this beautiful place sun's just coming up morning so we're at a village called perente and uh  now these squid boats they go out every night   there's about six of them here in the village six  or seven they go out at sunset here's a few drone   pictures from yesterday's absolutely beautiful  they've got single cylinder diesel engines two   of them on each boat and they just go out like  roaring like it's pretty cool and they're out   all night you can see their lights out in the  distance all night and then yeah sunrise they   come back in again yeah they have about 10 guys on  each boat they'll come back in unload now and then   yeah i guess they go and sleep for  the day and then get back out there   super cool place though here really beautiful  place we're really enjoying it the villages   are super friendly and uh yeah it's  a real pleasure to be anchored here don't want to in the bed it's a  beautiful day outside babe i'm sure   but i have a little bit of time to go no no no  it's the time to get up stop being a lazy bear we've got to get up we're  going to clean the boat oh yeah   yeah we've got to fix this we've got to fix that  all of that yeah you enjoy your rest we're coming so maria's up and about now i'm about to get  stuck into the day we're not actually doing   much today but i just thought we would show you  a bit of a typical day on uh the boat at anchor   which is you know what most cruisers do most  of the time we're not sailing every single day   uh as much as i sort of like to you do just enjoy  the places you're staying in and uh yeah we'll try   and show you a bit of that today but it's still  only about seven o'clock in the morning so we're   going to get some coffee and breakfast and uh  first i'll show you how we how we make kombucha   so this is our kombucha here it's only a small  one it makes about a liter this is a new scoby   got the scoby when we got back from europe now  and i've had two batches out of it i think so in   here we just got normal lipton black tea i brewed  this overnight and put a about three tablespoons   of sugar mix it around and then you got to wait  till this cools down and then just pour it in and yeah that's about it actually you just fill  it up with water afterwards and that's it seems   pretty easy it is very easy the scoby does all  the work just just basically black tea sugar   and some more water until it's full and  then leave it about four days we normally do   and then you've got a healthy awesome tasting  drink and afterwards once it's brewed we sometimes   put some slices of ginger in there or squeeze  a bit of lemon lime in there as well yeah it's   a good little tasty drink every morning for us  what do you reckon i am less a fan of kombucha   than vernon vernon is the master of the kombucha  but i'm happy to drink a healthy drink every day so what are you doing in here i am  doing my new episode of podcast   i already recorded and now i'm doing the  treatment of the sound to have a more pleasant voice now let me hear how it sounds like listen if your microphone is okay with  i'll put a link in the description below for   your podcast for any funko phone people who are  interested yeah i'm talking about our adventures   and my vision of the adventures and also some  like fun facts about indonesia and stuff like that say this afternoon i'm gonna prepare bread  because it's always handy to have a bread   around especially when you are sailing it's  a quick snack um so for making the bread   i'm using dry yeast we don't have the the wet one  and for away kit i'm using a little bit of sugar   you can also do it with honey but actually  our oni the one you saw in the breakfast of   vernon has some ants inside and i'm not really  super okay with that put a little bit of yeast for doing my bread i'm quite happy because when  we went valley i found some other flour than just   a normal white one we found in all the shops in  indonesia so i can mix with a little bit of barley   flour and i also bought brown it's the skin of the  of the wheat to make it a little bit more brown brown and solid than healthy bread and for  doing this bread i'm just using salt water   from the ocean that's a good way of having  a quick bread with the right amount of salt i'll mix a little bit this and i'm waiting  then the yeast is waking up normally when it's   ready i'm gonna see some bubbles i don't  really have a recipe about the quantity   i know roughly the texture i want to have so i'm  just mixing a little bit of flour a little bit   of water until i have something who looks good  now i'm adding a little bit of the belly flour now a little bit of the brown i don't need  too much to having the right color and   a better bread now i think the texture is quite  okay so i'm gonna just cover it and let it for   two hours to let it rise oh super hot  now while we're waiting for the bread to   rise and put in the oven we're gonna go for a  little swim over here on the rocks over there   uh i haven't been there before i haven't  actually snorkeled anywhere here there's   so many fishermen around that we sort of always  think that you know there's probably nothing at   all living in the ocean here but you never know  we're gonna have a look and have a cool down all right this looks okay the  water's clear not sure how good   the coral is but yeah we'll show  you what it's like let's gear up the big flippers so i can swim like a dolphin  you wanna swim with your t-shirt i don't think   so today yeah it's a beautiful learning by  doing t-shirts you're gonna have to swim   with no no i'm not gonna swim this one link  in this description below for this one and   plenty of others the little learning by doing man  that's on the sale now some tote bags pretty cool   coffee cups and uh we're gonna have a competition  soon probably in two or three videos time marie's   gonna draw three different designs for new  t-shirts and uh we're going to let you guys pick   the one that we're going to make into a  t-shirt and then obviously the winner will   get a prize pack of that and a couple other things  probably anyway that's uh that's a couple videos   down the track when marie has time away from  baking bread and sailing to do a good design hmm so so pretty cool one huh yeah i like it i never saw  one like that what did the little part i'm gonna assume so i am preparing the dry tomatoes and the cheese   barley cheese made in barley and it's quite  good obviously we are super happy to have   that on board we have some in the freezer i'm  gonna cut some piece to put also in the bread i have to say here that marie is a bit of a  cheese fiend she would eat the whole block for   breakfast if we had a non-ending supply but it's a  pretty valuable commodity here on the boat getting   proper cheese now we're gonna see if the dew is  bigger seems pretty good a lot of hair in make it   a little bit smaller again the air getting out of  the dough and after just bake bake it in the oven   i can say that yeah that was the snorkeling just  now it was not the most wonderful snorkeling but   quite good to go outside see some animals  and the spotted eel was really so fun so now i'm gonna let them grow a little  bit again before putting in the oven and   i'm gonna put some cuts on top  to help them to grow correctly and now we are waiting right guys  we are leaving tomorrow morning   about four or five in the morning we've  got a bit of a longer passage tomorrow   um so i'm gonna get the boat ready for  leaving now at sunset before it gets dark   and uh yeah i'm gonna take the covers off and load  the dinghy and i just realized in the last video   about the sail i didn't really show the covers  i just showed like putting them together but   i didn't really get a nice drone shot of the how  they actually look on the boat so i'm going to fly   the drone quickly and show you guys that now and  then i'll rip them off and we'll get the boat ship shape there you go so i see how cool they look and how  fast and easy they are to take off by myself yeah   super cool uh really stoked that um zoom sails did  a good job with them they look really good too and   yeah i don't know it just all sort of fits not  like i'm a super i'm not so worried about the   look of my boat but it does make me more happy  when the boat looks good so yeah it's a win-win where we are right now is called brandy but last  time you saw us in the last video we were still   in lombok where we were just leaving lombok and in  between that video and now we actually stopped in   a couple of really cool places um we didn't really  feel much so yeah we didn't make a video about   those places we don't film everywhere we try and  just enjoy ourselves as well as filming everything   but i did film a few little drone shots of  a couple of things that the one island we   passed i just happened to notice on i think  google something or other that it was the   most um densely populated island in the world  even more than hong kong so we didn't go ashore   because there's too many people and now with  covert lockdowns and all that it's not really   not really happening but uh i sailed in close flew  the drone over and uh yeah here's some shots from   that it was pretty mad pretty cool uh to see  he spot the tree basically not a lot to not a   lot just take shade under there but uh yeah the  the bajo people i think um basically come there   and you know they go fishing they just live in  their village and go fishing and then we stopped   overnight uh that evening we stopped overnight  for a couple of days in a place called potapadu   this little bay and uh yeah as as uh marie  was steering out through this little cut   i just got some drone shots you can see here uh  of that but that was a beautiful spot just because   it's so calm in there it's you know here it's a  nice spot too but you do get some roll and some   chop coming in and roll around a bit but there  it was just like in a lake it was beautiful so   completely alone there no village close by and  that's really nice too so yeah best of both   worlds um anyway yeah i thought i'd show you those  couple spots from the last few days so we prepared   the fish we just bought in the village still have  scale everywhere they were a little bit of pain to   to take off the scale but we're  gonna cook them for tonight   and i think the bread is ready so i'm going to  take off i can smell a bread yeah it smells good a little bit stickled together   look at that they are not the most beautiful i  think i have the pressure of the camera sometimes   that looks better but i'm sure they taste good  we're gonna peanut butter sandwiches when we're   selling tomorrow no no peanut butter vernon is  eating peanut butter all day long i'm tired of it how are you doing oh you caught me i'm trying the  pizza bread got to do a test run maybe poisonous   you know i don't want to put you in any danger  babe i want to make sure that it's safe first okay oh i don't think you should try this your  stomach's maybe a little bit too tender   i might be able to finish it though i might just  be able to get through it we can't waste food   no it's amazing so good you  want to try yeah i'd love to try hmm yep the crust is good taste the cheese and the  tomatoes super good now nothing more beautiful but   super happy well we've had some pretty awesome sunsets here  in burnty i think four days we've been here three   or four days and we had a crazy good uh sunset  every day so nice and sunrise actually the sun   comes up behind the coconut trees as you saw this  morning in the start of this video and yeah the   sun straight into the ocean over there so yeah  perfect really and uh yeah i hope you enjoyed our   little just normal day at anchor really uh just  doing normal stuff i mean it's not terrible is it   it's uh not terrible at all such a great life  there's a bit of a bit of friction at the moment   as far as uh covered and stuff goes as you  probably know well we're we're actually nearly   live now these videos what is the date today the  11th 11th i think so you know this video comes   out next sunday so when you see it it's only a  week old so we're right up to date and at the   moment you know indonesia you've probably even  seen it on the media it's pretty big numbers in   in mostly in java but a little bit in bali so  you know there's a lot of lock downs going on and   they've put in some pretty draconian measures uh  which are probably going to affect us but anyway   we're trying to enjoy ourselves as much as we can  in the meantime and uh yeah what do you reckon   even if it's a a bit complicated i  think it's complicated for everyone   yeah exactly every country so we try to enjoy  anyway and i like we are a little bit forced to   do the things in the rhythm of nature and what  we need on the boat and cooking and things so   we never really have too much time to think  about it we're just continuing to do the life yep   yeah yeah we've got a nice 60 mile 50 mile  sale tomorrow uh so i'll enjoy that and then   yeah we got a contacted by a teacher from this  place called kilo a man called uden he contacted   me on facebook after seeing some videos and  that's going to be our next stop and he uh   does some projects with kids there's some  projects outside of school you know teach   them about plastic and he teaches them english  and that so that's going to be the next video   hopefully if everything goes well in that village  when we rock up there so look forward to that i   want to say thank you like every week but we mean  it just as much uh patrons you guys are so awesome   three new ones this last week you guys are so cool  uh really stoked you're on board um yeah also on   the uh the chat group while the signal group um a  little bit of life going on there we're trying to   give you guys some early early updates there and  uh yeah can't thank you guys enough so so cool and   really really uh so happy to have your support and  all the messages and that from you guys super cool   um yeah so we'll see you next  week in uh kilo bye bye see ya
