American Lost In Germany!
all right guys i'm going full hoodie right now really really cold uh and you can see we're hitting one of our spots that we were going to visit here in Hamburg uh which is the uh Armonic I believe house looks like a boat we're going to walk towards it um it is cold guys i estimated my uh but I'm feeling it now i think it's coming across probably in the video that how cold it is uh when the locals here are wearing their jackets and I came in here in a light hoodie trying to be a hero we'll see so we're going to go in let's see ticket works we're in all right we're going into the Ferimmony oh we're going to go up the uh escalator see how this rolls oh my goodness look at this guys this is insane oh we're finally reaching the see some sunlight closes at 8:00 so I'm going to try and uh see if we can um get something here before we close oh my goodness look at that view that is nice what a beautiful view guys take a look this view gives you a better idea general wow the good thing about being in here is that it's nice and warm so get to it view it and not feel the um the elements that are down there so I'll go get that unreal beautiful oh wow keeps going there's an elevator all right so we're coming to you live from the top of the Filermonic building and we're going to take a walk on this side you see the buildings with the spires classic buildings and then you walk closer you have the uh water on this side and on the right here you have a whole bunch of fancy restaurants so there's people eating in there so I'll leave them alone but from here you can get a better perspective of the city you see the city down here you see the canal down here so what a beautiful view guys i'm I'm trying to I'm just glad I was able to get in on time this place I believe closes at 8:00 so we were able to just barely sneak in it's just a little bit past 7 you see the lake there the canal and uh the city and now we're going to go back over here i want to show you what I originally was going to show you so we'll stop here for a minute kind of show you the crowd down there so people are actually having a good time down there and up here both now we're going back over here you feel the wind probably you hear it against the the mic um right here you get a lot more uh view of the water so give you a better perspective of of what this place what the what the view is uh from the top of this place uh pretty impressive it really is but had to do it i mean it's uh it's one of those bucket list things that you just have to do when you're in Hamburg you know beautiful buildings and again panoramic view then we'll come across this way there's the sunset ready to come down any minute now um you have the boats wow nice place for couples nice place for families uh just an overall nice place and area to be at especially at this time of the day again trying to give you a a better view of the actual um of the river um and its surroundings and this building in general just uh really an amazing amazing view of the entire uh city and from a very very good uh perspective very impressed by this city in general just everything about it just you know the loc the restaurants uh the views um right after we leave here we're going to go to another uh popular spot and we'll share into that as soon as we get there um but let's keep appreciating this so the sun is really really really really cold wind is really really heavy here i mean I had to go full body here because this is pretty but it does give you a beautiful view of the sunset um I apologize if this is not uh the best look for me but you know what it's either that or my head is on freeze so wow guys appreciate it what a beautiful view i really want to hold on to this for a bit again the top at the Fmonic building here in Germany all right guys hopefully the beauty and what is the sunset about to happen in the next few minutes is coming across in this picture because it is truly beautiful and hopefully you guys are seeing it and it's coming across on the screen the way I'm viewing it because it is truly beautiful i hope you guys appreciate this we are in the side of the uh building that does allow for us to see this view we're going to go and we've shown you this is it guys this is this is the view this is the view that this is the money show so hopefully you appreciate that i don't know how many times I'll be able to do this but if it's only one time I'm going to take it in and I'm going to soak it in so soak it in with me this is pretty much the other side of the uh the building here so you have the canal uh I think I showed you guys this side earlier but we did not come this way so this gives you a different view uh again beautiful beautiful from all angles to be honest with you um and then you see the sunset over on that side goodness this is gorgeous beautiful city guys and we're going to go to the warehouse district next that's the spot I've been wanting to go so we're going to try and knock both of those out uh today so let's try and do that shall we here we are going back down the escalator um bunch of guys getting ready to see a nice show so they seem to be excited about it not really sure what the show is about um it's got to be good there a lot of people going so all righty so we're getting close to the bottom now we're in the uh other escalator and um I can see uh the ground level coming up so again as soon as we get down there we'll try and hit the uh the warehouse district shouldn't be that far guys so we're uh we're walking now we uh you I don't know if you can tell in the background um that's the uh the place where we were at the Filermonic uh building which was built a couple years ago few years ago um it's become uh one of the staples here in the city uh of Hamburgg here you have apartment buildings people live here beautiful area more apartment buildings over there kind of funky the way the balconies stick out and then they're covered obviously because of the weather uh but we're trying to hit the warehouse district before it's too dark uh you hit it at sunset and you're hitting it at the right time of the day and that's what we tried to do with the fullmonic uh building um and we were able to actually get a good u a good uh couple of pictures there and a good couple of videos so we're going to continue and uh Ooh I believe that's it over there i see it i see it ladies and gentlemen it's behind those buildings so I think we have to just go across it's probably about another 10-minute walk and we'll be there so getting excited um some of the you've seen those pictures on Instagram with those buildings in the background doesn't matter if you're taking in the day or at night they come out beautiful so I'm looking forward to it all right so the street levels actually up there we're below street level uh then of course you have the boats i don't know who in their right mind would take a boat on a day like this and obviously nobody cuz those boats are still there but uh hopefully you guys are enjoying this walk with me uh this is our second video uh from Hamburgg uh don't let the uh hoodie confuse you i like this hoodie i wear it constantly uh it just happens that I've worn it both times I've recorded here but I do have different wardrobe i can assure you of that uh your boy here is well taken care of uh but nice view guys nice view take it in take it in not many people I haven't seen many people uh come out here and and uh spend time in Hamburg so hopefully uh this puts the city out uh for more people to visit i can assure you one thing I will be back in Hamburg at this time next year that's that's 100% guaranteed god willing everything goes well i'm going to try and make this a tradition because I've seen a lot of things but I feel like there's still more left to do uh and that's that's saying a lot uh uh for this city because I I do travel quite a bit and for me to say that that means I'm impressed that means that there's more that was left for me to do uh that I didn't fully take in i've been to uh some really nice restaurants a couple of Italian restaurants um I know a couple of Italian restaurants in Germany oh look at this view guys now here you can actually see there's the uh the Fleermonic uh building and uh you can actually get a really good view of the city from here guys all right so another nice restaurant in there people are eating and we're uh we're just annoying them because they're actually looking at me and going "What the heck is that guy doing?" I'm recording your beautiful city that's what I'm doing uh hopefully there's a way out here cuz now I don't know if this has an outlet should yes it does and uh here gives you a better view of part of the uh warehouse district this gives you an idea of where I'm [Music] at so we'll keep going i don't know if this is considered a downtown area or what but it is uh it is impressive i got to watch my step here guys because last thing I need to do is get injured i wouldn't even know i don't even know if they'll pick me up and take me to a hospital this strange American here in Germany getting injured not picking this guy up uh so hopefully uh let's see i'm going to I think I'm going to cross i don't think there's anybody here so we're just going to cross uh kudos to the guy in the bike that he just stayed there waiting um got to represent uh but you know I'm an American and we just don't do that we just we just see an empty street and we just go uh so I think we're getting close to it i recognize the buildings from online and uh I expect some pretty good uh views hopefully not many people in the way i hope fingers crossed guys so I got to show you this look how beautiful this is right here i mean hopefully it comes across um and you guys can see it wow that is impressive my gut tells me this is what we're supposed to be crossing but I don't know this is beautiful it's like a movie doesn't even look real beautiful buildings beautiful ambiance h I'm going to take it all in guys i'm going to take it in you hear the music in the background just I don't even know where that music is coming from but it does make me want to move it does make me want to dance um it's not a car but it's coming from somewhere so we'll see so now we're waiting to cross and while we wait to cross I show you the buildings here and we just turned green so we're going to go across and gives you a better idea of the architecture and what we're looking at uh look at this guy man come on man come on bro slow down bro i almost got run over by that guy that was hilarious guy was just staring but you know that's that's not how we roll guys we got to let them know that you know we're representing here so we're not going to we're not going to We're just going to walk down these trees here and get a good a good view so you guys can appreciate i'm just going to I'm just going to do something that looks romantic but I'm by myself so I don't know if it's really romantic but you know it gives you a a beautiful view of just in general the architecture the surroundings and appreciate what we're actually looking at look at this [Music] beauty so beautiful and I don't know if this is considered town square i have no idea but it is the world famous warehouse district so definitely deserves its credit you guys saw your boy almost got run over by a car there interesting funny just a combination of things i mean really um I thought it was funny uh I kind of stared the guys down and they just kind of kept driving i just thought it was hilarious in general but uh we're going to get deep into the uh Wow wow guys i'm going to This is amazing amazing and I think we're getting close to one of the Instagram spots that many many people uh are known to take pictures in front of and it just gives you a classic view of what the warehouse oh man here it is i believe this is it or is it the one on that side is it this one oh wow look at this guys what a view what a beautiful view can't beat this really can't and this is the Wonder Bear Ro Bridge known for this view actually um so I mean don't know if you can actually beat this i mean it doesn't get any better than that so we'll keep walking because I mean there's so much more look at the beauty here i mean it looks like you're going back hundreds and hundreds of years when you see these buildings these blocks and just the beauty that is Hamburgg uh I don't know if that was Oh let's see we have a map here can you guys translate for me please so I just walked by a couple of guys right here that I swear they were bathed in uh some of that good old Mary Jane i mean I got high just walking next to them you see the lights are starting to turn on this is the Hamburgg Port Authority as we continue to walk and beautiful church right here St katherine and just love how these things just pop out of nowhere these old buildings in a city that's filled and it's very modern again guys and and here it comes i'm just walking through uninvited as always you guys love to hear me say that but I don't feel uninvited for some reason i feel invited i feel welcome this time um but we're going to stick with the uh with the credo we're going to stick with the model just walking through uninvited as always um this time by the Port Authority and by the uh warehouse district and trying to uh show a different side of Hamburg um while we're here we're uh we're walking this building here i mean I'm sorry this bridge my brain I think is getting frozen my words are are getting crossed um we're going to walk to this side of the uh warehouse district and I got to tell you your boy today has walked so far over 20,000 steps throughout the day i've been doing a lot of different things uh and this is just adding to the magic but this is the uh the bridge that we just walked and that's the uh church that we just looked at so I wanted to give you guys a different perspective let's see what we've got here this might be an area of famous picture status so let's see what's going on over here so again another just beautiful view of the actual lake itself um this is still not the area I was looking for uh but nevertheless beautiful um look at that look at that view guys oh wow and you have the bridge here i feel like we have this all to ourselves either that or people are just staying in house tonight for some reason all right so we continued on our track and now we're heading towards the streets so this is not where we want to go we're going to go back the other way because this is just a regular street guys uh I'm not here recording to give you guys the view of a street so we're going to go back this way guys again this is the night view of the warehouse district same place same beautiful place just a different perspective it's getting chillier by the second beautiful view here the buildings really doesn't do it justice um unless you are here looking at it yourself all right so I've been walking around for quite a bit now um to find this picture spot and just spoke to two guys uh one was a German and one was a Chinese fellow and uh between the two of them they were able to guide me in the right direction so hopefully this is the right way um it's getting kind of dark honestly I don't know where I'm at um so hopefully this turns out to be a good spot we can get a good picture and uh and then head back to the hotel cuz I'm tired got a lot of lot of uh mileage under me today but we're gonna get a good spot i promise you guys we're gonna get a good spot we're gonna get a good picture we're still walking and uh hopefully we're getting close i believe we are finally this is starting to look and resemble like what we're needing to take a picture of but I've been saying that for over an hour now uh let's see here all right guys is this the magical place is this it are we where we came to shoot the picture uh looks like a nice area but is it is this it don't know doesn't look like it even though it's a beautiful spot it just doesn't look like what we were looking for guys i think they were wrong once again I don't know what do we think about those guys let's keep walking so we're here guys we hit our goal the building is not lit up which is unfortunate but at least we're here we made it and we can say we reached another famous Instagram spot for whatever that's worth who cares uh I'm just here to show you guys one of the spots that you've all been asking about so hopefully you're enjoying it and uh I'm sorry it's not lit up but at least we get to see it all right guys so hope you guys enjoyed that i'm going to go ahead and cap it for the night it's late and I'm going to see if I can find an Uber and get me out of here love you guys till next time
