A Unique Camping Trip in Northern Sweden: Tipi Tent & Boat. Storm Hits!
thats really cool, its like its been sliced in the middle and glided now we have woken up on day two we have abit of sun and the wind isnt as bad its about 15c(59f) outside and 20c (68f) inside the tent we slept really well, we slept until about 10am. we're still abit haggard from yesterday the plan today is to explore the island and look for some wood maybe take the boat to the other side and check it out, do some fishing its the day of opportunitys its really nice the sun have come out for real, there is even less wind there is still abit wind, but its really nice its really beautiful here we are hiking up and following the river as far as it takes us and listening to blood diamon soundtrack its a nice feeling that we're going out here in the bush hah. you know the bush bru ok now its my turn we're eating chili cheese and watching the wolf of wallstreet its really nice to finish the day like this there is forming a lake outside our tent there wasnt any water here when we arrived and we could walk here now its a shitton of water and we are abit worried that it will come up to the tent if the rain continuous becaus the high diffrence isnt that big we'll see...
the rain is coming down and the water keeps rising its right outside our tent now, maybe we have to set an alarm for tonight and maybe move the tent and thats annoying.. its not steep at all here its hard to see, but its not far now, maybe 10 cm hight diffrence exciting... we have moved the carpet away from half the tent so its just the tentfloor, and if the water rises it wont come this far up we're safe now anyways we have woken up and there is no water inside, but its close this what you call a seaside property we're packing up and moving to hemligjaure (secret lake) its going to be really nice the slope was alot higher then i remember it wasnt easy to carrie the outboard motor down this we're really tierd. - and then we have to carrie it up again i think up will be easyer then down, back there is a better place maybe we can get it up there, lets hope now we are taking a cig before we go, becaus it was really heavy now when everything is down, its the most easy part left. now we are here again leo
secret lake, that awesome. its like coming home again even those its far away its nice to be to a place we been before and we know. when its the last days before going home we camped on that side last time, now we're going to try this side if we find a good spot. we are going onto land to check it out
if there is a spot big enough for the tent we found our campspot, its just up there its abit rocky but it was flat and nice and the view will be nice its going to be really nice. we wanted to try another campspot and not have the same as last time even if it was a good campsite there we go! we have finally carried everything up here there we go, now the tent is up and we are happy with the setup we still havent moved up all the gear becaus the time is around 6pm..- 6:40pm and we havent eaten at all today, only a icecream. we're eating kebabstew the weather is so damn nice! the fishing i really slow. last time here it was much better. we have been all the way down the lake and turned back and trolled the whole way back...but nothing.. not one bite..so we'll see. very sad
we'll see.. the fish needs to be 30/35cm i cant remember to be legal our first fish, its about time let the net down and hold it they are strong! its way bigger then 30cm where is the priest? - behind you, between your legs its late at night about 12 o clock and the wind have picked up like crazy and im holding my feets on the tent so the tiedowns dont come loose its an crazy amount of wind the woodstove have been on, but its starting to cool down. we are hoping for the best the time is 1am and it dosnt work..
i cant go to bed becaus the wind is to high im holding against the wind i really hope the tent holds up! the woodstove is cool now atleast but im worried.. its reaching the breaking point now the time is 4am and the wind is starting to calm down a little bit i think i can go to bed now god damn....its about time goodnight we're on our way back, its been 9 days. its been really great the fishing has been awful but screw that. its been a great trip good weather and not much to complain about.. except the fishing but its so pretty here.. it feels wistful to go home
