two solo travelers and content creators, two motorcycles, and a van packed to the rim, ready to hit the road for the UK. This is the beginning of a friendship trip of a lifetime. Come along on our mini adventure as we chase breathtaking views, great food, a ridiculous amount of cakes and ice cream, and endless laughter. But first... Hello guys, and welcome back. As you can see, I'm not in my usual surroundings on the bike or anything. I am actually in the Netherlands together with...

Hello, hello! Sorry, I need to... Adventure to the road a little bit. Someone's gonna do that. We are on our way to the ABR Festival. We spent a couple of days just packing up the van and getting ready to go. And this evening we are taking the boat from the Netherlands over to Hoek van Oerland. to Harwich. And then we'll hopefully get a good night's sleep. No rocking and no engines, but we'll see. We'll manage anyway. Let's go! I wanted to hunt more,

but maybe I should not do that. Ready? No. Let's go back. Yeah. Fuck this. I don't fucking know. I don't fucking know what we're going to do. One step closer. Yes. Seriously, do we just climb? That's not funny. Oh yeah, see here. Truly.

We're all in the box now we have 10, 20, 30 minutes going out. What do you got there? do what you need all right i'm just filming um who's up there first night on the ferry well the only night at the ferry yeah well you need to get back as well yeah but that's not a night no this is very charming corner huh well good night and see you tomorrow bye good night leonard Have a nice day. Here's Donnie! Goodnight, Leonore! Here's Cookie Monster! AHHHHH What better way to start our UK journey with a cup of tea? Yes. Just UK right out here before we can disembark. Stop right there, take a picture Here we are Hello, good morning going. We have airco, snacks, water, gym, fine. You manage. Are you managing? I manage very well. Passenger princess.

Turning half a nail. That's a female. Yup, girl. Oh! That's my god. Bye. Give me a subscribe. I'll follow soon. See you later. After hours of deep conversations on the road, we eventually rolled into Transcontinental, just outside of London, on a mission to pick up a bunch of gear from peak to sign who Leonora will be working for this weekend, and teaming up with her colleague Nate. Needing room for everything and everyone in a two-seat van, someone, and their stuff didn't make the cut. Let's

see if we can continue our good streak with riding on the left side road, it should be. interesting hang in. Leonore in the front here in the van as our guide. Just I can think less, just follow along. It wouldn't be a proper road trip without me getting lost at least once during the day, this time thanks to some highly creative navigation in and around the world. But with a little help, I eventually tracked down the festival entrance. All right, we are arriving at Ragley Hall.

Still a building day, it's Wednesday today and the festival doesn't get open until Friday I'm very curious to see what the venue is like, I've heard nothing but good stuff about it Oh, so dusty Yoo hoo! Set on the stunning grounds of Ragley Hall, a stately home dating back to the 17th century, the ABR Festival has quickly become one of Europe's largest adventure motorcycle festivals. With around 15,000 visitors, most of them camping on-site, myself included, over 150 exhibitors shoving off the latest in bikes and gear, and about 50 food vendors serving up all kinds of goodies, you'd think it would feel packed, but surprisingly it didn't. Day one was all about settling in. Leonor dove into building and prepping the big design stand while I focused on setting up my presentation. Yup, I was invited to give a talk on the main stage. Terrifying? Absolutely. But hey, that's how you grow, right? The next few days were a mix of soaking up

incredible storage from parties I've always admired, like Dave Darcy from MadTV and Kingkoper on our bike. Yeah, well, standing in very long lines for ice cream. Totally worth it, like always. While Leonore was busy all weekend, I spent my time roaming the festival, hanging out with fellow bikers and exhibitors, like the awesome crew behind the Norwegian band Twinpegs. There's always something going on at their stand. Oh, and I was interviewed for... something. Not sure what exactly since I haven't seen it anywhere yet. And I discovered THE way to go when it's my time. How awesome is this?

And then came the big moment, stepping onto the stage, which turned out to be nothing but a fantastic experience. Evenings were all about the legendary festival parties, and before I knew it, Sunday had arrived. Everyone seemed to pack up and leave all at once, which made for a quick bottleneck, but we got through it eventually. The next day we loaded up the van and set off for Wales, ready for the next adventure. Why am I so much lower? What? You're sitting higher than me. And I have a freakish long

back, so... Good morning, guys. And welcome to our little camp spot here. ABR is over and done. Yes. And we are tired. It was a great, great weekend, but also a very long weekend. Just constantly being around, doing things, and talking with people. So it was much needed to just... get a couple days of rest and catch up on work so we spent a couple days here. Yeah. The plan now is we still have about a week left. So we're gonna spend just roaming

around Wales just exploring and enjoying ourselves. Not really having a plan. We'll see. Yeah. We're gonna try to follow the good weather. Yeah. And the good views. Yeah. Just see where we end up. We have not decided yet if we go down on the map or up. So either going to the south coast or up to peak and lake district. But we'll see. This is our first trip together. I know, right? Yeah. We haven't still not ridden our bikes together. No. But they've been in the van together though for a while. They've been snuggling up in the van. Getting to know

each other. So get some breakfast in and then... We're off. Off we go. Yes. Time to get going. Bikes were successfully unloaded, most parts of the route was planned, and our car was charged and ready for a day full of bed. Being aware of the weather here, I also installed the wire for my heated jacket this day. I love this thing.

And the plan now is... Right, I have no idea how to pronounce everything, but we're gonna go down on a map to a lake, then to a very nice coffee stop with the most amazing cakes, and then we're gonna ride back up via Snowdonia Park, a little bit like that. But we'll see how the weather really reacts and acts mostly. But yeah, should be good. Alright, let's go! First step, first step! So we're in a part of Wales now that is called Snowdonia. I don't think you mentioned other areas though. I've never been to Wales, it was my first time here, but it is quite nice so far. I'm glad to have Leonore in the front so she can keep us on the right side of the road,

or left side, where to say. Exactly what I imagined whales would look like Like super green and with the sheep and cows and stone fences and yeah That's a fucking huge bull out there, no? Or is my visor just... Oh no it's... Hahaha It looks like it was one But there's two of them Ah

Happy breakfast Yeah Zip it all the way down, you guys. First day and we were unsurprisingly sure some very Welsh weather. Better luck next time Leonore, perhaps third time's the charm? Go, go, go. It's so steep. What? Everything is pretty content.

This one is already checked by you last year, no? Oh yes, and approved because they have delicious cakes Good Of all Oh, that's a good one. here just randomly but what's that Ice cream It's destiny right? I mean it's always weather for ice cream Yeah Oh no! Really? No! Oh shit! It's a big village. You must be able to find ice cream somewhere. Right? What do you got there? Ice cream! While ice cream, as usual, brought a little extra joy to our day, our bikes did the same for this little guy. Yay! Thank you. Hey, it may not be the day that we expected, but... It was not in a way. ..part of my French, but fuck me what a day. We had... Mmm, it was good. Such strange weather. Such

strange day in general, really. With a whole bunch of weird shit happening with our bikes and... Everything, yeah. What did you have? Immobility? I had the immobilizer light come on. So all of a sudden it didn't want to start. Probably some dirt maybe on my side stand sensor

or something. And then your bike started to light up like a Christmas tree. First thing that happened to my bike, it just went black. Yeah. I didn't tighten the cord or the cable on my battery tight enough, so we had to tighten it out a little bit. In the rain. Yeah. But

hey, we made it back at camp. Mm-hmm. I think we got some pretty epic... pictures. Oh yeah. I'd like it to be paired up with this one. For real. I finally don't have to put down the tripod so many times. So hey, this might be a format that we're gonna continue. Can we do it again? I was messing myself up. As a really lady. As a real lady. Shut way, you're like ha ha. Ha ha ha. Cut. That goes in the bloopers.

Bloopalala. Gull I think the main thing for this week together is also taking our time and just having a bit... Not like the... How do you say that? Like not putting ourselves under pressure. Like we have to do this and this and this just see how it flows. Yeah, having a good time, enjoying the

outfit, relaxing. Oh yeah. And then... What? One more time, one more time. Okay, wait. See? All right. Time to go. Yeah. Three times. Thanks for watching! We haven't eaten lunch yet but maybe... I think it's time! Ice cream? Cafe and ice cream? I mean... But where do we park this big ass van? I don't know, park it in the streets, I don't care. Let's have coffee and ice cream! No parking please! Okay, we're gonna... Fudge! Yeah! Homemade fudge with piggies! Baby Mammoth! Oh, they have a whole lot of...

gonna have a hard time choosing. What from this? There you go, that's just for you. So much? You're welcome. Ready? Yay! What better way to kick off the day than with ice cream? Oh, sorry. And as if that wasn't indulgent enough, we couldn't resist checking out the homemade fudge too. Hats up though, keep an eye out for Bingo. Alright, we are on the move again. Yes, packed up our

bikes into the van. And the plan now is we're heading... east. Yeah, a little bit. In the end, we're gonna head east. First, we're gonna do the Penny Pass. Penny Pass. With our mountain van. Very capable 7-meter... Look at that. Not too big, but we'll get there. We'll get there. And yeah, so far it's looking very good. Oh, and the view, guys. It's getting better and

better. It is. As we go up the Penny Pass, it's... I've been there last year and I didn't shit because all of the clouds and the rain was there. But this, this year looks promising. Yes. Today is just gonna be riding, getting there, enjoy the views, work a little bit in the evening.

We're gonna leave the van with a friend of a friend. Thank you Tim. And after we will continue by bike. But first, come along. Ooh, you have to look for me. As you journey through Panny Pals in Snowdona National Park, you're traversing a historic mountain pass nestled at 359 meters above sea level. This route, constructed in the 1830s, was originally designed to transport ore from Snowdon's mines to Chantberries. Today, Pentecost

serves as a gateway for adventurers, offering access to popular trails like Miner's Track and Pig Track, both leading to Stoughton's Summit. Snowden, known as Ørvetvá in Welsh, is the highest mountain in Wales and stands at an elevation of 1,085 meters. It is the centerpiece of Snowden National Park and a popular destination for hikers and climbers from around the world.

Surrounded by the rugged peaks and serene valleys, there was no shortage of breathtaking views to both captivate our eyes and keep our cameras busy. Thanks for watching! Leaving the mountains behind, we jumped on the highway for the remainder of the day and made our way east towards the location of the dropout point for the van the next day. Tada! Welcome to our place for the evening. Perfect. We're about half an hour away from where we're going to put our pork today. Yep. Tomorrow, just outside of Nottingham. But yeah, let's have some food and then we'll see you again tomorrow. Peace out!

Good morning! Welcome back into the van! The sun is shining! Like wow, yeah, nice and warm. We are right now about five minutes away from where we are gonna park the van for a couple days. Get our bikes out and head off on the road. We are about an hour. Something like that. Something outside of Nautingen. Yes. And we're going to spend days probably just a little bit north, near and north of this area. Yeah. I don't know, we'll see. We spent some hours

last night just pinpointing on the map. We got some amazing places, but let's see how far we can actually go up on some of them. We'll just see what we can reach by motorcycle and otherwise a short climb. Not too long, but a short climb is okay. Yeah, there should be some good stuff coming up, so we'll see. Hey, as long as this weather keeps up, we are happy campers. So, yeah, thanks. Let's go! Almost there!

A short while later we arrive in Barksten, where Tim has gracefully offered us a spot to park the van for a few days. He shares his home with the two dogs Kubo and Hara. Hara at first seemed a little bit unsure about the curiosity strapped to her seat, but it didn't take long for her to warm up. Some juice, spice, have some of that. Bring this and not that. Oh no, you're attacking way too much. Way too much, like always. Seems like we weren't the only one eager to hit the boat, and with a few final preparations and Tim lending a hand to fix the emotional blinking issues, the sun broke through the clouds and we were finally ready to head out on our bikes for a few days. So hot.

we're on the road. Plan now, we are sort of heading towards the campsite so we can set a camp, I think. We have a route for about an hour and a half plan, so let's do that. Finally a day with some sun.

On the slide, on the side, on the road. As your sausage roll? Good. Just the same as in the Netherlands. Perfect. Hey, bread, bread! See? It works! In an attempt to avoid traffic jams, we at some point entered this nice little road. Do I really know of it? This decision caused us to be stuck in the worst traffic jam of the whole trip.

Yeah. Yeah, it's okay. It's actually quite funky.

One, two, and three! Yup! Baby, I'm gonna... No, no, no. Jesus Christ. Popping over here. They're not gonna be able to pass each other. I got it. Jesus Christ on a motorbike All good? What the fuck is this? We lost each other along the way and we turned around for some caravans but now I lost Rune.

She's somewhere... somewhere there. Oh, that is tight, yeah. DIRR! That was interesting. Oh it's so freaking hot as well. 30 degrees. Eventually we made it out of the jam, and with the afternoon settling in, we headed straight for our chosen campsite. With it being a sunny weekend and right in the middle of the summer

holidays, you can only hope that there would still be a spot for it. I just put a few here already. Oh this is perfect! Pretty nice, huh? So, we just booked this spot for... Three nights? Three nights, and four as possible. And then we can just ride around, leave camp here and just... It's gonna be nice. Now she's gonna work, I'm gonna set camp, do some groceries and then we'll catch you later.

Bye! Toodaloo! First thing first, off come the boots and in goes some snacks to fend off the creeping hangry mood. Yay! What do we have? The effect is instant. Well, almost. You know the smell inside your tent? Smells like home. Yes! What? Campus set. Leonor's happy. All done. Andy's happy. Half walk.

supermarket closed at four so we oh no that meant we had to get some indian takeaway oh no Peace. Chicken. Did you find some art in here? Yeah, look at this What's she looking at? Yeah, she looks a bit pale but I think She might have a violation This one is smiling Oh man Good night! First night alone! Yeah! All the way over there! Bye! Get it? We are good to go. Yes. We're gonna start off the day just by finding somewhere to have breakfast. Yeah it looks pretty all right. So far there's some stuff going on. Minus. Minus that. Yeah. We're just gonna look this way instead. This is all nice and pretty and sunny. Yeah. Let's see what today takes us.

cameras, a few essentials and rain gear for good measure, we set out from the campsite which Josun has her base camp for the next few days. Our mission? To explore the peak district, a place we'd heard so much about, and it didn't take long to see why this region earns such glowing praise. Here we are! Wow, nice! This is the place we are, we're the half of the face of the city as well. Let's get some chocolate. Cheers to a good record. So we might need to check how we're gonna ride the route. I feel like I'm a kid of chore because

she takes care of everything. I'm just following along. No idea where we're going. How was that? Oh man, we have been eating for the whole day. I'm not kidding. It flew up my throat that day. It was delicious. This is cheap as hell. Oh yeah. It's quite cold 12 degrees outside.

It's British summer hoga. What's going on? There's a fucking bird chasing your drone Where is it? Oh it was right there It was charging Oh, hey at least we got it on camera Oh there it is again Oh no! Go away No, go away Come on, you can do it! Right to that puddle. I need to practice my U-turns, but I always say that. Next stop, Winnett's Pass. Just up here. I think we met them at the cafe actually. Aww, look at this. Yes, this is what we want. Without all the cars, okay?

Ho ho! short with sweet. Thanks for watching! get sucked in there. No. Oh I've seen the pictures where there's like a whole like a whirlpool of water going in there. So bizarre.

Ah! This was closed, auf demnächst! closed on the weekends because there's so many people who walk there to wear, there's plenty of other gems to explore. Oh, sorry. Ha ha Hello! We found the rain.

Let's see if we can find a cafe or something to stop by and wait out the rain and have some lunch. It's 1.30 now so... It's really coming down. Yeah, it feels very cold. It's 11 degrees here. Time for a coffee and a bite! How's your uh, not good yet? Oh, not good. Oh shit again! Yeah. with your soul on so many hills. What do we have here? Something healthy. But we might stop for ice cream later. It's looting

everything. Everything. Is everything okay, Kassy? All right, we had some lunch. We did some groceries. And shopping. Look at this. Now the sun is out again. So let's see if we can go back on the snake class where all the rain was. And grab some good pictures. Yes, we'll see. It is looking good so far. Oh, look at this purple. What? I didn't see that coming down. It is so bright purple. Oh, it's stunning. I want a picture amongst all the

purple. I want to be in the purple. In a purple cloud. It's so windy up here. Yeah. Hey, where else is New York? Oh, man. you I hope it's not gonna attack you. It's like very close now. No, it's walking away. He's gonna tell his buddies like, hey, look at what I found.

It's already quarter to six, so I'm going to start making our way back to the campsites Nice and magical first. Cheers. Nice job! Thank you! 5 second rule, 10 second rule, 30 second rule. Hey, all good. It's gonna go in boiling water anyway. So... We got some hummus, some veggies. Eat pasta, ride faster.

We're trying to upload the latest episode, which is currently episode 6 from New Zealand. It's at 56% now. After about three hours. It was supposed to be super weavy, but I paid for premium. Why didn't I? Yeah. So much wind though. A lot of wind. I'm all lowy of all the... The wind burn is a real thing. Yeah, for real. The wind burn. I need to look that up. Yeah. But...

Good day, good break, ate way too much. We still ate good food. But yeah, no, it was nice. And we have some cute fluffy butts. Can we see them? Aww. It's so cozy waking up with the sound of meh. Sometimes you have a like a... There's a lot of funny sounds. Someone is sick. Yeah, exactly. And then you see the little ones... We'll be fluently talking sheep after this day. But for now... Good night. Call it a night. It's about 10 o'clock. Thank you. Ish. I have no idea. But I don't care. I'm tired. Let's go to bed. Exactly. Bye.

You soon we have a problem. Crap, leakage. you Good morning! Morning! Are you alive? Yes, holy shit I slept through everything Yeah you did Hi! Hello! Oh my god At least I had warm feet but the rest was so cold. Yeah? I have my warmest trouser on. I have three layers on. I have my buffons. It was just cold. I don't know. I fucking know. We got some yogurt, banana, blueberry and nuts. That'll make a good breakfast. And when we had our breakfast.

It's always fun with this one. Like I, I kid you not, we have this giggle every single day. But what were you going to say? After we had a breakfast, we're going to go to the cafe. Yeah. We went to the cafe yesterday. Yeah. Grab some coffee. Sure. And then figure out what I could do next. Not, not such a big breakfast. No, no. Oh, I can still feel the bacon. Exactly. Like I was. Discovering that the cafe we visited yesterday was actually closed this Sunday, we located another one in Bakewell. When in Bakewell, there's one thing in particular you

have to try. Good morning! Good morning! What do we have? We have traditional Bakewell tart. Well, it's a bit short on the other one, but it will do. We are in Bakewell, which is one of the oldest villages, I think, in the Peek-a-Street. If not the first bigger one. And we had to. We had to. Oh wow, okay, it's good. Would you look at that, Leonore's bike is lighting up like a Christmas

tree again. Oh, shit. All right, so we had our coffee and our cake And we planned a little route going south Just in a loop with some nice locations So let's see what we can find today The first thing we found was the rain, a constant companion through most of our journey, so of course she decided to join us also on our final day. That's right, our trip is coming to an end. Our time here was limited for several reasons, but that only fueled our determination to save every single moment of this last day. This really is how I imagine New Zealand would look like. North Island. Because I guess this is the aftermath of having a lot of rain through the year, but lush and green hills.

Awesome. Bye! We're lost but we... Hey, it looks like this then. All okay. Leonore has spotted a good photo location. Always on the search of the next... ..spot.

Slyberry What? How much rain can a not waterproof camera Camera While my camera isn't exactly a fan of the rain, the rest of our gear didn't really have a problem with it at all. Some being more in their elements than others. Which seemed to be the case for these sheep as well. Feeling a little bit naked there buddy Let's get off this... ..slippery, slippery... ..shit. What? Alright, we are off to a small cafe, Polly's cottage. Dry up a little bit and have a coffee. Yeah, it's about one o'clock now, so good time for a short break.

The cafe is right around the corner here. coffee Yeah, and pee, I need to pee I think he was Instagram versus reality. Do you think you want some snacks? I don't have any No? Do you think they like tea? Eh, it's a bit warm Yeah Want a nibble on my shoe? I wouldn't recommend Yeah Poison bait sky. Let's see what's down here. Such nice views too, huh? Yeah, this is nice. Yup. Holy smokes, that's nice.

Watching the clouds grow darker and heavier on the horizon, and noticing a certain someone's mood dipping along with her blood sugar, hint it's the one riding in the back, we decided it was a good time to find a spot for dinner and let the weather pass. Oh, it smells good Smells like food That's nice, yeah? Yes. Are you hungry? Yes, I'm hungry. Why are you willing? It's a burger. Burger time, it's a burger day. We needed this much. It was fine. Yeah. More sweaty. Running. Runny. It's not very disagreeable. It's from Capsule Supermains. I make it regularly. I love it. It's a spot. What happened here? Um, we didn't went out for ice cream today, but we do have a nice dessert. So we don't have to eat anymore

tonight. Or this week, I think. We are so full. Roll us out of here sometime. I don't know how people do this, but the show must go on. Yeah? Let's see if we can find some rocks to climb. we want to go and have a look at those rocks right there. Here, that's Leo's indicator. Just... Left! whatever works. Look at these, it's like a sling stone.

Pretty good. Oh, yeah. Watch out, okay? Are you gonna get off that ditch or what's your plan? Just roll backwards. All right, cut. Old McDonald's had a... McDonald's had a chicken. Oh, that's a rooster. Oh my God, had a dog. Woof woof woof. Oh my

God. Had a motorcycle. So we're at Southern Road and Leonore's decided to fix her blinking Christmas tree. And then completely lose it. Now you eat. Take three. I don't think I've got... Scott. Good to see you. Overlanding. Yeah. Exactly. And over here. Better previous

market. Previous market. GS. GS track days. Yeah. KTMs. Metal stuff. Yeah. Little cyborg and then... Yeah. More spooky men. Ducatis. Stay away from them. We don't talk about that. But no, we got some tools, but I just unplugged everything now because I was... It was very...

Yes. She was a bit... Yeah. But it's life. Bikers... We like to find each other. Yeah, we find each other. And we're gonna have safe journeys then. I don't think I spoke for you, but... You too. Stay safe. Really? Again. Thank you so much. Lovely, thanks. Have a safe trip, good to see you. You too, bye. Good night. Bye! This right here is one of my favorite parts of traveling.

The people. When you least expect it, someone pops up with the coolest stories and kindest hearts. If you ever lose faith in humanity, just travel for a bit, and I promise your faith will be restored. This was only one of several memorable encounters on this trip, and not even the last one. Yeah, dang. Guys, I was just about to fuel and the gas station was just closed. And the fuel pump didn't want to take any of my cards. So the sweetest guy working at the gas station

paid for my gas and he refused to accept taking cash back and just told me to pass on a kindness to the next. Thank you, stranger. And I will make sure to pass it on when I can We're going down to a dam Hopefully we can go all the way down there It's already 7.30 almost Oop! And another one Oop! Look at this! Oh the water is so still! bright but hey I'm not complaining about the Sun It's nice. All the way So much beauty in the day.

a great day, huh? Is it perfect or is it perfect? I'm videoing. test oh it was such a fucking amazing day fuck yeah It has come to an end. Not yet. No. Not yet. Not just yet. Almost. We are going to watch an amazing sunset, I think. Yeah. Up on the Cat and Fiddle pass. Something, something. Wow, what a day. Really. Yeah. No words. A bit of everything. A little bit of everything.

And to start a day in rain like that and shit and end it like this. It's pretty freaking nice. Yeah. Oh, it is just so beautiful. The lighting is so soft and it's only going to get more beautiful now. Like it's going to turn pink and purplish and yeah. Now we have a ride

back to camp half an hour-ish in the dark probably, but it's okay. It's worth it. Every now and then it's worth it. All right. That brings a closure to the mini-series. Oh yeah. Indeed. Yeah. In England or UK. Wales, England, UK. I'll learn the Geographics. Today it's Sunday, Tuesday, we load the van, organize ourselves and Wednesday it's back to the Netherlands and I go home. Yeah, so that's it really. But it's been two weeks already, two and a half

week. Since the, yeah, since I left. Oh, yeah, of course. It's been a good while. Time flies, huh? Yeah. But for now, let's enjoy the sunset and I'll see you in the next series, wherever that might be. I don't know. No idea yet? I don't know. Or no idea. It'll be a surprise

for all of us. I'm very curious where you're going. Yeah, me too. It's gonna be somewhere. Well, I mean, we will see you soon. Let's just say this was not the last trip we will do together. Nope. So there are some more plans but first let's see how everything goes and yeah take it away. Yeah I'm gonna shoot some pictures.
