#1 leaving Turkey, welcoming #bali
Hi, everyone my name is Mehmet and this is the first video of my new jorney around 1.5 years ago I left Istanbul where I lived for a decade. I had a remote job and started living on different corners of turkey while working In that liberating times I came to the realization that I've never went for the things that I really want well actually I always knew that I want to change the scenery, to have adventures, to earn my living independently with location freedom and I ’ve always wanted to film things I want to find my balance and reconnect with the pure joy that I believe resides within all of us and most importantly, I want to pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and enjoy the view while I can so Im going for it. I don’t know how long this journey would last or where I would end up. I cannot know. destination is uncertain, timeline is unknown I just have a limited budget that could sustain me for some time and an inspiration to equip myself with new perspectives along the way so this is my first ever video and first time editing experience and my English is a bit rusty, to be honest so let’s enjoy the view, while we can wow, it's an amazing place I just came here like 30 minutes ago we came here on a little alley very narrow its all hindu style old buildings houses, guesthouses I was hearing some neighboor ladies singing hindu songs iy was really nice I was actually supposed to live on the second floor, upstairs but they kindly asked me that can you stay here for one night I think other person didn't leave yet, its okay so this is a hindu style building its an old place. it even makes you travel back in time high ceiling big trees back there are coconut trees so beautiful I just moved up to the second floor this exactly what I was looking for accomodation in ubud looking at this view and its good there was a lizard here just before I went for shopping they like to stay on the wall this is the neighborhood its on the west side of Ubud and here lies the river I was talking about that's why there is a lot of life here there was a rat last night it was running in between this wooden ceiling and the roof I let the host know he was like okay we know him he comes and goes I think it was just eating bugs and little lizards so no harm in that I haven't seen snakes so far there must be a lot of venomous snakes here thing about wild animals is that you don't see them if they don't want to be seen so you are lucky if you see them they're just curious sometimes but no harm you just got to be careful host says the rain will get harder every day because it's closing in on the rainy season its only normal in every way its a very beautiful place smells and the vegetation this is my room right there just over the river what's your name? - my name?
