3 People, 2 Weeks, 1 Van | Van life in France
hi we are linda and arno a finnish couple who together with ourself built by vincent travel the world full time as much as we love spending time with each other sometimes there is nothing better than sharing our lifestyle with a friend but can even the greatest of friendships last two weeks of sharing the same bed toilet and seven square meters of living space let's find out the monster of lake and the sea i'm on the beach we fell in last night so we booked the paragliding bus bus [ __ ] buzz that was close all good morning um we are currently leaving this wonderful place that we've spent so many nights in it's a spot we found along the seine river the river saying whatever and it's gorgeous we've really loved it we just kind of hanging around just not doing much just kind of enjoying and now we're leaving we're meeting someone very special in paris she's flying in currently like from finland um i don't know if you know but ella ella was uh with me in australia and she's a good friend of ours she's gonna travel with us for two weeks oh and by the way about last night give me love give me all your love all cause i want you no one else makes me feel this way don't know what you do hold my hand could you hold my hand look me in the eyes you and me yeah that's all i need and i'll be all right i'll be right here i swear that i'll stay here with you is i said yes so let's hit the road yes paris it is whereas it is in a very normal fashion i have coffee here is oh [ __ ] it's a bumper hurry here we go driving is in paris is quite stressful right it's stressful it's just sucks because the lanes go wherever we've actually booked a campground in paris um didn't even know perry said camp france but we found one that is very close to the city center because we spent two days here uh so it's best to park on like a park ground it's a safety question on the campsite it's locked and no one's gonna come around there we just got also the news that ella has landed safely she's gotten out of the plane and she is making her way down to the city with a metro then we're gonna pick her up from the metro station then so yeah yay we're inside the camping area just trying to find a spot let's go pick up ella and we have to go to the hardware store wrong electrical plugs you got the blog yes finally it's not i figured it's like a cable or anything awesome so ella should be arriving in a minute now where is she we did find her we found ella hey prepping to go to the city and prepping the cable yeah we just had the wrong kind of a plug so i snapped the old one off and putting in the new one so let's hope it works long story short i suck at this okay this weird lady is looking at me hi guys um i thought i would introduce myself i'm ella and i'm joining lena and arno for their trip to france for two weeks first paris then britannia to see some of their friends and then let's see what we find i don't know if linda already told you but we know each other from school uh we went to paramedic school in tampa ana i was actually our tutor at some point um and we went to australia for an exchange for uni and how i ended up on this trip was that we were having dinner we have these four star dinners with our australia girl group and then we were just thinking like yeah i have my um summer holiday from work i work in the er by the way i don't think i mentioned it so i have my summer holiday and at arnaud lina were talking about their trip and i was like oh i really love to go somewhere if i just can like travel safely uh and they were like yeah we're gonna be in france when you have your vacation you should um join us so i was like yeah i'm gonna join you there for two weeks i was like kind of joking but um yeah no here i am now not a joke anymore obviously i just booked a one-way flight to paris and yeah foreign oh me all right we came back yeah we came back last night quite late after the eiffel tower or the picnic under it and now we're going back to make another picnic under the eiffel tower with coffee with coffee yes indeed let's go we had to stop for a beer just had to yeah it was too rough with that one hello again guys so we've been quite busy the past few days in paris we've had a great time the three of us ate a lot of food saw some sights basic paris stuff for a few days now we're back in normandy we're actually on omaha beach it's it's quite an impressive spot and uh weird look at the beautiful sunset that was good he's a pro so do cleaning up the beach and the trip continues so where are we headed how do you say that what he said what he said it's all merging michelle which you can see over there and soon a little better good we're making dinner on our camp spot next to the fields next to the place we just went which i can't sit some cheese we have cheese it's gonna be a cheeseborn again like yesterday like every other day yeah cheese and wine and some gnocchi it's gonna be good babe come on so we have uh arrived to britannia and the specific name for the place have no idea i have no idea i don't remember either we've spent a few days in like quite nice spots yeah um yeah restaurant moonsault michelle and oh that was so cute and then um and now we're going to this place yeah so we're hoping we can get a place on this site camping site it's not a camping site but it's like just a spot next to the ocean so the roads here are pretty small quite the nice spot huh perfect it's amazing yeah yeah tonight definitely yes perfect i'm on the beach hello hello i'm cutting up some bread such a chef is so freaking delicious it's gonna be even better on garlic butter looking very good or just super weird if anyone ever wonders how we sleep in here that's my spot over there and then yeah say good night good morning good morning if we go on a morning walk so we found two muscles and this guy figured out he's gonna find more so now dinner yeah and make dinner like enough to make dinner and we're just here waiting for him to go through the beach looking for more i know how long we'll have to wait for our dinner but i think he's ready by the time yeah he's convinced he's gonna find tons yeah i'm gonna provide for my family i'm gonna go look for the seashells hi hi oh my gosh look at that muscles look at that beautiful muscle collecting seashells and this is what we came hey on our way to here yeah our um or our nose travel friend from like 2016. in albania oh it's raining hi um so yeah we spent a few days at friends out of privacy reasons we're not going to show them on this video we want to keep them private um we had fun went to the farmers market all that left the pla their place uh last night or last evening we drove down to what's it called valley uh had nice night with cheeses and wine and then this morning we were supposed to go visit some wineries but we fell ill last night me and ella so arnold's okay we don't know i think it's a food poisoning thing so we've been like bed bound all day and just watching netflix and drinking this juice mixture i make that is a killer fall for stomach bugs but yeah so arnold has been doing laundry and all that kind of stuff and went to the nearest town and came back with yeah it was cheap i had to buy we've been talking about buying one and now i sold out like this one yeah so now we have a scooter we've been planning on buying foldable bikes but we can only fit like the smallest ones and the rather pricey and the garage is almost full and we talked about maybe getting scooter because then you can leave the car a bit further out of town you don't have to pay always for public transport and it's nice like today i did the laundry like three kilometers away from here so didn't have to walk back with a big bag okay totally not our day uh i just ran out of like space on my memory cards i had to get a new one but yeah i just went to the toilet again yeah we really have been using the toilets a lot um we're actually we decided to come and park on a caravan park or like campsite just to get proper toilets it's quite a nice place it's not that bad hopefully feeling better tomorrow so before you go we went to the winery was good we had a wine tasting another day another try to visit the local wineries feeling a bit better yeah i'm feeling pretty good yeah okay but not 100 so everything stayed in no one threw up no one pooped three glasses of wine oh so good it was so good that was good we really recommend if you come here the guy was so nice the guy who showed us around the winery and it was beautiful the wine was so good it was like a family thing yeah and um he really wanted to see the van afterwards so he gave us a ride with his like golf course yeah yeah they have like this pocket so you can pour the leftovers of your wine yeah yeah but we were like drinking the whole glasses so the guy was like taking the bucket away better just put it away these girls are drinking it all yeah we're heading not sure but towards the alps somewhere i think i'll put honesty as a next okay some man is gonna buy this clip from porn that's going on our only phones oh yeah we're going to make an only fence for ella eating croissants we made it to anderson allies on the cooking duty and they all split the fuels i don't cry oh the onions are so so strong in europe it's wine cooler ghetto version filled with ice mustard wine um yeah he did it monster of nick anderson we're good morning we left winston over there in this car park for once she has water in her ear greetings from shamuni one of the base camps for montblanc and the views are pretty spectacular we watch the sun go down over the same old town like so many times before we look at the same old stars battled the same old horse like so many times before so we booked the paragliding yes three at the same time and we're gonna take off right from that hill you can see yeah not too shabby not too shabby no so stay tuned yeah we'll see ready to go back oh yeah quite amazing but i'll be okay that was fun that was so fun oh i love it and then the trip continues to geneva geneva switzerland switzerland ella is going to board on a flight uh she didn't have a return ticket and she came and then um they convinced me to stay for another day yes it was super hard and it was worth it though like she loved it she loves us she wants to be with us but yeah she's boarding on a plane on friday morning we still have to find a place for me to get my hobby test yeah she's just gonna do that and we're gonna do some laundry and shower because that's been disgusting and yeah then we're gonna be in geneva for the evening and for tomorrow yes i got it yes you got it didn't take too long for us to discover that genevieve is one of the most expensive cities in the world super expensive yep so yeah we had some lunch came back to the van ella's last night we're celebrating a negative curvy test and i'm not really celebrating that she's leaving tomorrow but it's pretty sad enjoying the last enjoying the last good day night evening i don't get how like influence is it doesn't hold on my place it's falling off i'm gonna marry such a beauty oh my god so i would like to say that i take like date applications yeah shingle girl here girl here so if you're like a really beautiful nice vanlife girl just a dm yeah definitely yeah like this girl is on the market guys oh my god yeah that's hot stuff it's nice living let's go to the airport so i'm not very good at goodbyes uh we just dropped ella off at the airport and now we're continuing our way to france we're gonna go in the mountains or somewhere near the nature uh because we have to be actually online in 30 minutes or so we both have like a school thing i'm gonna start my studies in a university today and arnold is continuing east our programs are both online so we just have to be online at that time all the private jets oh yeah look at that geneva oh geneva yeah geneva was a bit of an anti-climax because i mean who pays 25 euros for a burger meal in burger king just that but yeah i mean we had a good run with ella everything was so much fun welcome to france welcome to france yeah we just crossed across to france so i think this is where we're gonna leave you this time and yeah bye bye oh please tell me
