traveled at the beginning of the year on the 1st of Jan and I must say the cities were still full of tourists because it was such nice weather [Music] [Music] [Music] we started our journey to Portugal on the 1st of Jun from the Abu Dhabi airport they have a brand new airport which I was so happy to see we took EA their uh National carrier and luckily this time we were able to board business class which was a pleasure it was a flight of 8 and 1 half hours because it's winter uh we slept a lot we watched movies we ate such a good food and then we landed in lisbourne in the morning 7:00 a.m. as we landed so early in the morning we just decided to go to the hotel check in we slept a little bit and then we just went out it was such a nice weather it was first of Jan but as you can see there were so many people in the city I was actually surprised cuz I was expecting to not be so touristic during the winter however we enjoyed it a lot it was very vibrant very very nice it's perfect for tourists who want to explore all cities relax on the beaches obviously if it's summertime or enjoy delicious food Portugal it's a great country full of History culture and great food whether you want to explore the cities relaxing on the beach or hiking in the nature there is always something to enjoy Lisbon the capital is a City full of life you can visit the famous BM Tower explore the Alama neighborhoods with its narrow streets or take a ride on the historic tram 20 8 definitely what I love to do is just like get lost on the streets discover the city discover the small streets and how people leave find hidden gems where definitely will find a lot of them in um in Lisbon and apart from that there is a place called sintra it's outside of Lisbon very nice place to visit at cintra feels like a fairy tale with the Pena palace and morish castle so basically for cintra you definitely need a full day cuz there are so many castles and you know you just want to take a full advantage of it basically we went there but when we saw the queue we just decided to continue our trip to towards uh Porto and we stopped in Costa NOA where we saw the Atlantic Ocean we ate such a good food and we enjoyed the vibrant coastal city that they have costan NOA with their amazing small colorful houses [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] w [Music] w [Music] [Music] [Music] w [Music] w spect as we leave in Dubai and we know uh timeout it's a very nice place where you can eat we searched for it in Lisbon and we found it same Vibe very nice place very nice food where you can obviously have their Seafood uh cheese they have their famous Cod and also the octopus which was really really great for Sunset we went at Tor de BM and it was such a nice experience it's a historic Fortress um located in the BM District um it was built in the 16th century by the king Manuel I and it was initially serving as a defense structure to protect the entrance of the port of Lisbon [Music] [Music] that's e first day in Lisbon was so well spent then the next day in the morning we just searched for any Hidden Gem around us we had a very good breakfast usually their food is really good quality and then we went we rented a car and uh we started our journey towards Porto where we stopped in costan NOA and we watched the Atlantic Ocean and ate very very good [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and here we are in Costa NOA where you can walk and you can enjoy the Atlantic Ocean um it was not Sunny anymore unlikely as Lisbon in Lisbon was really really nice weather here it's usually more cloudy due to the ocean definitely however was still such a nice experience we still enjoyed the sunset the food that we had and definitely there are many places where you can eat touristic or non-touristic however everywhere the food is amazing [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and this is one of their favorite dishes it's octopus with uh sweet potatoes this time but they cook it in different ways then we have the Atlantic Cod that is very famous in there Cuisine and while we were enjoying the sunset we had a very nice coffee costan NOA is famous for the colorful houses that were decorated basically for Christmas and for New Year's Eve costan NOA it's a Charming Beach Village in Portugal famous for its colorful stripped houses these houses are painted in bright colors like blue red or yellow making the the whole place look like a postcard it's located near the town of Al havo not far from the city of AO the beaches here are beautiful with a gold sand and great spots for surfing or relaxing by the Sea the colorful houses were originally built by the fishermen's and are now a popular photo spot for the visitors it's a peaceful beautiful place to enjoy the view walk along the beach and take in the uni [Music] atmosphere hello again and good morning from Porto this is our third day and the last day where we are going to visit Porto walk on the street taste their wine have some food and head back to Lisbon to prepare for the next day for the flight so we can clearly see the difference between the streets of Lisbon and the streets of Porto you can clearly see that the buildings are not really taken care of not that much same like Lisbon uh you can see that the city is basically totally under construction however still the architecture was such a nice thing to see and uh definitely it's very vibrant City also the weather was not really nice um it was so cloudy it was not cold around 13 14° very nice to walk outside but obviously imagine if you are in a sunny day when you are in Porto you definitely need to visit the Lelo Library which is one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world as I usually like to do I like to go not only on the Main Street would just like to walk around the areas that are not very very touristic and you know see how people leave this is how you find a lot of hidden Gams as well very good food very interesting look at the details so so beautiful the tiles very specific to Portugal Unfortunately today is not Sunny obviously it will look much nicer but it's still very nice and still the weather I think it's like around 14 13 14° so I think it's amazing to just explore look at this very cute cafeteria so nice very cute and cozy like a lot of places here very nice now as you can see the city looks like it's under construction literally however the buildings are very nice the architecture is very nice imagine being here and being sunny spe e and you can always stop by and have their special [Music] dessert and have a coffee also whenever you're tired very cute and cozy places unfortunately the church is closed but look at this beauty in the tiles such a beautiful Church in the afternoon we went straight away to Lisbon back cuz we had the flight in the next morning we had to be in the airport around 6:00 a.m. so we came back however the city was still very vibrant we chose to go for a f night so let's just sit together if you are in Portugal definitely you must go go for a show of f f is traditional form of a Portuguese music characterized by deeply melancholic and Soulful sounds the f word means fate in Portuguese and the music often reflects themes as love loss and the complexities of life with a strong emphasizes on emotional expressions [Music] fore spee [Music] fore [Music] fore [Music] fore fore [Music] speee you [Music] fore fore speee [Music] the last night we spent it in a stunning hotel called palasio dasas or the pals of spices which was the cherry on top this is a historic building located in the heart of Lisbon known for its unique architectural style and rich in history and because of that it's not primarily recognized as a hotel today but rather as a notable landmark with cultural and historical significance it was originally built in the 16th century the palace was designed by the architect jao de Castillo and it was named after his connection to the spice trade which was a major part of Lisbon economy during the Portugal Age of Exploration the city was a key hub for the spice trade between Europe Asia and Africa and the palasio dasas was likely a center for the storage or trade of spices and another valuable Goods brought back by the Portuguese explorers the building has seen various uses over the centuries including as a royal residence and a Merchant's house in the modern day the palaso esas has become more widely known for its cultural and artistic importance while it may not operate as a traditional Hotel it has hosted exhibitions cultural events and performers that celebrate Portugal's Rich Heritage including its history of exploration and trade all the rooms are completely different different decorated the furniture is completely different The View as well um it has as well a seller on the basement uh where you can enjoy a very nice wine and they have F show also every week if I'm not mistaken on uh Saturday also they feature a spa where you you can book the sonuna and the pool and you can enjoy the breakfast in their beautiful uh restaurants that they have I'll let you enjoy the rest of the video with the
