the sides use the scraper to loosen the remaining half of the absorber remove the remaining half of the absorber and then scrape away any remaining adhesive replacement cut the new 1 F3 y1 841 absorber in half remove the adhesive liner from the half of the absorber that goes toward the front of the printer then carefully lay the absorber in place making sure is flat the sides must not rest partway up any of the sidewalls use the scraper to press the edges of the absorber firmly down remove the adhesive liner from the other half of the absorber then carefully lay it in place making sure it is flat the sides must not rest partway up any of the sidewalls make sure the two halves of the absorber meet if the absorb is not flat lift and try to place it again platin absorber replacement authorized service technicians perform this procedure to replace plattin absorbers that have accumulated ink due to borderless printing on average replacement might be required after 200 pages of from the new y f68 a001 absorber align the absorber with a plottin ribs and then carefully lay it down making sure it is flat the sides must not rest partway up any of the side walls use the scraper or tweezers to press the edges of the absorber firmly down if the new absorber is not flat remove it clean the plattin again and try again with a new absorber remove and replace the Y s6880 to absorber removal if necessary Slide the carriage all the way to the left starting from the edges use the tweezers and scraper to loosen the old absorber from the adhesive remove the absorber after the absorber is removed continue to use the scraper to remove all residual adhesive be careful not to damage the plate and ribs use alcohol and a text wipe or a lint-free cloth to remove any ink the plate and surface must be clean and dry before you install the new absorber replacement remove the backing from the new YF 6882 absorber align the absorber with the plate and GES and then carefully lay it down making sure it is flat the sides must not rest partway up any of the sidewalls use the scraper or tweezers to press the edges of the absorber firmly down if the new absorber is not flat remove it
