foreign Africans here is once more Africa 2063 in this contribution we would like to continue with possible philosophical ideologies which we may consider in the long term towards our unification one fact or truth is obvious and that is African Unity without it we will fail and when we feel we will one day be annihilated this is no fear mongering we have no defense no common foreign policy we are politically divided some sites with the East While others with the West they all come and sign separate trade contracts with s and many more they come to infiltrate the AFC ta and we stand aside and look on oh Africa where shall we be qualified enough to lead the continent in terms of who we are we are Africans dams of the rims of idea philosophically we are what is called philosophical materialism ideologically we are what is called humanist politically we advocate for Africa to have Continental wide super state which should be governed as one United entity and economically we advocate from the production mechanisms to be the most advanced technological mechanisms in the world when we bring those things together with the fact that we are Africans who care for each other what we get is pan-african Nation we must have all these components to become pan-africanists anything short of that depicts the fact that we are not pan-africanists it therefore follows from here that we need to construct a path we intend to follow as suggested in the earlier videos which we began with suggestions about our philosophical ideology we need to consider as a case study thus politically we advocate for Africa to have a continental wide super state that could be governed as one United entity this means Africa must politically be United and all bodies has designed in 1873 during the Berlin Conference organized by Bismarck the chancellor of Germany under Kaiser Wilhelm II of poison must be eradicated this is infallible for our course there are certain ideologies from certain historical Nations which we must thoroughly examine before we consider any inclusiveness towards 2063 the letter should certainly not be considered for the cause of Africa we are for peace and Humanity never for oppression divisiveness and slavery in my earlier video titled Crossroads I concluded with the following thoughts that we are the original yet it is not our intention to behave and treat others based on elitism like other streets because our understanding of the Universe goes beyond the mere feeling of man and his mind The Heart Is Made to hate the love but the Mind must understand this has always been the position of all Africans including those in this work we would like to discuss some contributions we may consider following this means the framework which stems out of our culture here culture being considered as a container in which the flowing could be found I borrowed some of these from one of our great morning pan-african thinkers Mr omowale pet improve from Great Britain some of my work here is based upon his teachings which he also derived from the works of the leading pan-african writers such as Dr umkuma of Ghana Secretary of Guinea and America Cabra of Mozambique despite what has just been said I would like to begin with what immensely constitutes the political philosophy practiced by many nations on our planet before then I intend to begin with Expressions such as values and socialism being practiced direct or indirect in different forms of many nations in ethics and social sciences value denotes the degree of importance of something or action with the aim of figuring out which actions are best to do or what way is best to live or to describe the significance of different actions but what are the purposes of this our values inform our thoughts ways and actions our values are important because they help us to grow and develop they help us to create the future we want to experience every individual and every organization is involved in making hundreds of decisions every day but what about the importance of values values help us live with Direction and purpose like a guiding Compass whatever is going on in our lives our values can show us a path forward and help us make better choices values are also intimate intimate linked to our sense of self and their essential for our Mental Health now let's turn on to consider the sum of values or forms of socialism whose values could be found in several political thoughts he here I have summed up four kinds they are egalitarianism moralism rationalism and Libra listen and now we turn out to egalitarianism egalitarianism is the classical principle of socialism here the true assumption is focused on the tendency of equality without any extraneous meaning thus understood equality culminates in a culmination of community hereby means the member in the community Master here to being equal if one's fellow members that means stop being self-regarding comparison between oneself and the next stop wanting individually to excel over the others in their group that means consciously accepting that self-transcendence is the truest form of self-realization membership of the community is the highest form of Distinction and hence nothing should be allowed to stand between a single individual and his community with egalitarianism we find that the common ownership of goods and services becomes a total value and end in itself so we're here we are talking about to move communism well egalitarianism has also critics against capitalism and these are egalitarian critics of capitalism concentrate on the harmful or destructive effects of divisiveness capitalism as a system impulses on a community with overwhelming emphasis on the division into rich and poor the results is relentlessly struggle between these two groups the ideals of egalitarianism is common ownership of the means of production demands complete democracy but democracy it's simple classical unitary sense without enduring party divisions before I conclude I will come on to give or to explain what actually is meant by democracy I know that we know this but nonetheless I will include it before I complete this video Chief values of egalitarianism are courage devotion fellow feeling is single-mindedness and conscious or the conscious voluntary acceptance of the need for self-sacrifice now the second form or part of socialism I would like to consider here is moralism moralism is seen as the Christian principle not in the narrow sense of socialism it follows that those who will perfectly practice it could or would be well versed in the Christian or other religious faiths the achieved values of moralism are moralism derives from the values of Christianity and other religions the chief values of moralism are social justice peace cooperation and Brotherhood but what critics have moralism for capitalism its critics or critic of capitalism concentrates on Humanity that is extremely cruel brutal Behavior from man to man it's institutionalized exploitation of the people especially those who must sweat to end their livelihood capitalism is a fundamentally unjust system of society in what it inflicts misery and suffering on the very people who produce societies wealth it is cruel and inhuman eat it sets man against man actually selfishness and mutual enmity in the guise of free competition here I see that I should have included explanations on humanism exploitation which are political ideologies we Africans choose humanism as a political ideology whereas Europeans Americans juices to operate on idealism having to do with x exploitation and you find it in their economic philosophy where they choose capitalism the means of production not belonging to a society or even when it belongs it never belongs to a society it belongs to the individuals which includes the human labor as a factor of production these terms and terminologies are somehow difficult to explain not difficult to explain but they need a step by step explanations so that the Layman having less knowledge and economics or economic science can understand it better nonetheless I will move on now with rationalism rationalism stands for the principle of the Enlightenment in socialism the ideals are the political fall that rationalism favors is also democracy it believes however that democracy should be tempered with Mary to krasi meritocracy meaning a ruling or influential class of educated or able people you see here you see plateau from the Antiques days huh the Greek philosopher plate here he comes in someone believing that only people with some aptitudes will be chosen to run a state we will not go into details here but if you have time uh there are certain books English books such as philosophy Made Simple from breaking if you can buy it it can help you to understand so many things in philosophy within a short time philosophy Made Simple well it's okay so moralism critics of capitalism each critics of capitalism concentrates on Humanity that is extremely cruel and brutal behavior from man to man each institutionalized exploitation of the people especially those who must sweat to end their livelihood I have already said this but I'm just uh uh repeating it capitalism is a fundamentally unjust system of society in that it inflicts misery and suffering on the very people who produce society's wealth it is cruel and anyone in that it sets man against man extolling selfishness and mutual enmity in the guise of free competition well you see to cut things a bit short here is when you choose capitalism and you will have to provide oh the factors of production you are the manager but there is one fact which is also true you bear risks if you put on all that what you have and you feel you lose all so you will not like or want to lose and that is why to cut it short the laws of Economics stands above even you the entrepreneur the one who combines the other factors of production and you are solely aim is to maximize profit you would like to make profit if you don't make profit you cut your your company will not be able to grow so here we can see the disadvantages and advantages when capitalism is at work either you lose or you fail and this is where the political system must sit down and think about and choose foreign Africans nonetheless I'm not saying that capitalism is good no but will come to the end and find out Which Way Africa may I repeat may choose because even in Europe to capitalism is not practiced I will repeat even in Western Europe through capitalism is not practiced it is always a combination of capitalism and socialism especially when you examine the system in a country or a leading country like Germany peruse through their accounting system and you will see that they have death 8GB and tire balance the balance sheet that is drawn recording two taxation let us leave it here we move on to the third one rationalism rationalism stands for a principle of the Enlightenment in socialism the ideals oh the political form that rationalism favors is democracy also so here you can see that all the way along everyone is for democracy but what is democracy that is what at the end of this video we will be able to consider it believes however that democracy should be tempted with erythrocracy as I have already said from the beginning that is a ruling or influential class of educated ah able people that was the example I give with Plato it was part of plateau's philosophy the chief values are individual happiness reason knowledge efficiency introduction full organization of human society in the interest of progress rationalism holds the view that with the advancement in science and technology men have overpowered many existential threats rationalism maintains that the human race have science rational audit knowledge of the laws of nature so as to make it serve our own ends in terms of material words gained through the subjugation of nature which could be utilized to achieve Happiness by organizing our lives our relationship to secure maximum technical economic and administrative efficiency in all our social activities well this is true but can you see some dangers in this explanations hmm many many well let's continue rationalism critics against capitalism they are rationalist critic of capitalism expresses a low opinion of most of the chaos and waste involved in capitalist production and it continued and crude entronement of ignorance and dark Space Station this is also true especially when you travel through Europe will find all these things in all space if I start to go into this particular sentence I have just made oh my God I don't know when I can come to an end if you have a small portion on your car and you send it to the garage what do they do they just remove that part and put a new one in this simple information should be enough and even continues into medicine the medical doctor have no time to find out what is wrong with a sick person or the one who is ill if you go in and you tell him I have a sore throat oh I have a runny nose or whatever it is only that part is examined and nothing else well let's continue here rational is intense away from violent revolution meaning violent revolution is irrational wasteful and a dangerous matter of change it refers rational persuasion to man's own self-interest thus praising the self-evident crowning of the values of the enlightenment so we come to the fourth part libertarianism or liberalism most disturbingly wild extreme and radical libertarianism accepts equality of men only in a fundamental sense and finds the ideal of equality of men Irrelevant in the last resort even to the extent of many less because equality strictly considered leads to the ID of humanity True Values of liberalism or libertarianism ah nature human nature sincerity authenticity equality in the fundamental sense individuality variety diversity and absolute happiness of human instinctual Energies nice ways nice values nonetheless I would like you to think about the last phrase I made namely and absolute heart happiness of human instinctual Energies think about it absolute happiness I will not name certain things but but think about it yourself well now we come to critics of liberalism against capitalism libertarianism wants man to keep his animal instincts yeah libertarianism wants man to keep his animal it seeks real man the natural man it is impossible to talk about political arrangements with people holding libertarian beliefs because this tendency will repudiate politics completely in their way of seeing the world energy is what comes closer to their way of thinking idea in this sense libertarianism opposed egalitarianism it recognizes and is interested solely in the individual so now you can understand if we consider certain things for instance as sex well let's continue its preferred method of change is our inner conversion seeing the light and persuas persuas by means of example Critics on all to other values egalitarianism pushes man to become potential Angels why rationalism sees men as working machines and moralism sees men as children I will repeat libertarianism sees those who choose egalitarianism as if they are being pushed to become angels and those who chooses rationalism amen who works like machines slaves and they see moralism as a philosophy that sees men as as children religion no it goes further but libertarianism sees capitalism as having systematic falsification of human desires before we move on it will be appropriate to consider the general meaning of some towards being frequently such as democracy I highlighted on this particular topic that I will explain it what is democracy dear Africans we hear a day in and day out and this nation is not the most critic enough and they have to practice democracy and all here and here but is democracy not having the same definition for all nations when a people in a society comes to the conclusion that they choose a particular government which should be run depending on their history their culture now culture huh being the song of their economic philosophy they are political thoughts their ideological thoughts and then they come in the middle here being the philosophy and all this is kept in a container of which this container is being described as the culture and this culture rests on a land or combination of what Nature has given us if we take Ghana for instance Ghana has a geographical part where this land Wells that is our society but this land came out from the history devoting all the activities our ancestors did fighting for their land learning and how they came about to exist that is the history the land the culture all the four factors economic political ideological philosophy which makes up culture [Applause] so here we see that capitalism democracy if the people in the country chooses a particular form of political philosophy and they all adhere to it and true that they choose their government and they will from time to time choose their government without any program they are practicing democracy democracy in Britain must not be equal to democracy in the United States of America and the Democracy in the United States of America must not be equal to democracy in China and democracy in China must not be equal to any kind of democracy anywhere else in the world the most important point is that if the citizens within that country are satisfied with the choice of their government which emanated from their history and their culture and they are happy with it and they reduce their government who will govern them they are practicing Democrats that is what we have to understand this means democracy is a variable entity yeah so don't we should not allow ourselves for Europeans to be telling some of us that we have to do this and done and all these kind of things they are not modernism especially we Africans Europeans are below us biologically they have nothing nothing to tell us those days are gone democracy is a form of government in which the people have the authority to deliberate and decide legislation or to choose governing officials to do so this is the western style understanding of it now intentionally brought it so this means that the government is elected by citizens here citizens vote for their government officials these officials represent the citizens ideas and consents in government voting is one way to participate in a democracy citizens can also contact their officials when they want to support or change a law hence a Democratic Society is a form of society which favors equal rights freedom of speech and a fair trial and tolerate the views of minorities a healthy Civil Society requires responsible and active citizens who value the system of government and work towards a shared vision of Civil Life words if I should be very honest on the normal circumstances many nations can follow the only problem I have is racism these societies have these ways but these words are only for their people but not for others who come from outside well let's continue in this wise features of democracy often include freedom of assembly is it not nice Association property rights freedom of religion and speech inclusiveness and equality citizenship consent of the government voting rights freedom from unwarranted governmental deprivation of the right to life and Liberty and minority rights yeah have already said it who can say that democracy has Divine as defined in the United States of America Britain or Germany is bad no one can stand in this state I or me inclusive if and only if all human beings will be treated like ones that is the problem I have now if you read set words how can you say it's bad so we see capitalism refers to an economic system in which a society means of production are held by private individuals or organization not the government and where products prices and the distribution of goods are determined mainly by competition in a free market thus capitalism is based on individual initiative and favors Market mechanisms over government intervention why socialism is based on government planning and limitations on private control resources left to themselves economies tend to combine elements of both systems but as already said many modern economies in the world are organized under the banner of capitalism some of the most important aspects of capitalist system are private property private control of the factors of production accumulation of capital and competition put simply capitalist systems are controlled by market forces where capital goods are owned by businesses and private individuals this is in direct contrast to Communism which is a classless system that is controlled by the government but what are some of the key features of capitalism here we go over some of the main factors that describe a capitalistic economy the key takeaways are capitalism is a system of economic production which is controlled by market forces rather than a central government to business owners acquire the means of production facets of production including the island of workers who get paid for their labor under capitalist structures this system is defined by private property rights capital accumulation and great investment free markets and competition why capitalism helps Propel Innovation and prosperity in modern society it all it can also create inequalities and contribute to the market failure the disadvantages capitalism is a direct opposite of Communism which is a system that wrote [Music] good I would like to continue with some of Mr umuwale's philosophical ideologies or teachings on dialects Mr omower's teachings on dialects is very impressive and quite outstanding which is worth following he is presented figure to express these thoughts is what I am presenting below I think I have done it already this ingredient scientifically described as dialects look at any society at four levels which may be figured out as the in x please cover tools to create a society or a nation Society where people care for each other now based on the works of the sacrament who wrote a book called conscientism we find many explanations he informs us about four dialectic analytic tools the next great giant is America Cabra who also requested is to return to the source to inform ourselves deeply about the directors he is followed by the late president of Guinea Ahmed secretary who also informed us in his book called Revolution culture and pan-africanism about the four dialect tools as can be seen our philosophical thoughts is despair dispersed over the continent including the philosophy of Ubuntu from the Eastern and Southern parts of Africa and choose choosing Scientific Socialism every society need them these ingredients can be analyzed in relation to what is called dialectics they look at any society at the four levels it is impossible to have a nation without them and therefore conceived of as the higher level ingredients figuring out the creation of a Nation it is equally important to speak about their synergies in case of permutations including their opposites within the dialectics so at a philosophical level you have materialism versus idealism this means inside your Society it's either materialist or idealist there is no other choice there could be limitations of them in the socialist society it is materialism in a traditional African society it is materialist so at one's socialism and Africa starts philosophically from the same point you see it is because we Africans care for each other that is why humanism is choosing try to understand what humanism means not everything can be explained in him when we move on to ideology it is humanism versus exploitation you see the idea of a Nation let us stay for instance capitalism what is humanism the human being stands above economics what is the opposite of it economics stands above the human being because the human being becomes nothing more than just a factor of production but when the human being stands above economics then the human being is considered higher and he will be treated with respect even where he or she is working in capitalism that is not the case he is nothing but just a tool and that is why in socialism humanism is the ingredient chosen and exploitation thrown away so we treat other people with respect within our culture so Africa and socialism have the same income at the ideological level coming to the political level the most potent tool for the managing of violence in any society is called the state or Nation here we are talking about how the society runs us said earlier you see what do we mean by Society what do we mean by a nation before Europeans came to Africa Africans were living in societies but they were not exploiting each other you see the real line of demarcation between the system of philosophy of how Africans were living before Europeans arrived was Africans were really clever enough they created societies but everyone was free no one was exploiting the order even if they had servants in their houses serving the king that does not mean they had slaves Arabs came they saw this and they caught some African send them to their places and they brutalized them to serve them that was slavery Europeans saw this when they came they caught Africans and when they saw that there was misunderstandings between Africans and their neighbors they use this opportunity to catch Africans or even Alpha other parts of those near within the conflict and they took them away and we see used them brutally to them to South America to North America they worked for nothing they could separate their husbands and their wives they could separate children from their parents they could sleep with the white black women they could sleep with the black men they could do whatever they want with them slave is a property if you have a property you can do whatever you want with your property easily it is and this is how it happened [Music] so coming to the political level the most potent tool for the managing of violence in a sustaining Society is called a state or Nation here today in modern days after the invasion of Europeans or whatever it is we cannot continue to believe in like that we must form Tate we must defend ourselves if we fail to do so how are we going to survive [Music] this war between Russia and Ukraine is teaching us a lot what is going to happen to Africa after this war will depend on who wins but who can Africa trust the east or the West Africa can only stand on her own feet neither of them is a savior that is what we Africans must understand but why is it so because we are so rich we are so rich there are some who are not prepared to share they want to take it by force they are not prepared to pay a price for anything and if they come just and he landed and take it they will and this time is the best time they had wanted to do it earlier and they couldn't so this particular time offers an opportunity to fulfill what they failed to do this is why most of us are Furious to let Africans wake up otherwise it will be too late so we need a state but the state is violent its job is to keep people the environment and nature including defense in order that is the purpose of the state the state also needs to keep the exploited in order now in traditional African society we were not expecting each other so we didn't have things which we needed such as prisons all those homes we didn't send our old people to others who are not relative to care for them because they were human just like us so the state didn't exist all these understandings and veggies where and are building S as talked about in my area as sessions now we see some states in African culture but certainly not to the extent as the existed in Europe and some other parts of the world in this modern world we see something different as a reason the violence in the world is now of such a magnitude that no one has a choice of running a state of the ingredient described earlier so when it comes to the choice of Defense it becomes understandable that the jigsaw states are weak and cannot defend themselves on their own Africa therefore needs a continent why unified state consider certain situations such as M23 and many more causing commotion to destabilize African nations and hence increasing mercilessly the economic growth of African citizens why must it have a continental-wide super state it is because of certain facts Like Other Nation just coming to Africa from outside and invade our Nations Direct or through process kill of the leader and then just leave it in chaos some Africans including leaders not understanding the situation and instead helping the Invaders to commit Madness on our side glued and take away mineral resources to straining their economies become more affluent so all their citizens can enjoy their fully sense of life on Earth Wise we are blocked in object poverty therefore Africa needs a state a United state a United African state with more emphasis on jointly working hard and caring for each other otherwise we cannot speak of an africanism the Continental wise must say therefore requires and all African Unity otherwise African culture can be undermined and anybody from outside with oppressive and exploitative ideologies and even from insiders who test for power and doesn't care to betray their fellow Africans now the fourth and final ingredient of synthesis is the economic component in the economic area what we have is production do we have mass productive factories or in Africa in the sense of industrialization or should Africa be pre-industrial or industrialized and much towards Infinity in case of pre-industrial then we can speak of communalism meaning we have a communal state if we want to have a socialist State we need to have the best and higher quality of production this is essential to socialism so as we see the struggle is directed against external Intruders and internal betrayers like Uncle terms and many Judaism as explained to us in the life of the story of Jesus Christ Francis Africa doesn't have the luxury of not intracellizing it is not an option but why not because what happens in the world is that those nations in the world that are industrialized can utilize advantage of those conditions which are not industrialized this is the essence of colonialism this is the case with Europe they use their industrial capacity to come to Africa and subjugate us and that is the essence of how colonialism came into being now what they do is that they deny as a choice to industrialize because they recognize that if we are not industrialized they have an advantage of arrests they also recognize that when they lose their Athletics spot in the physical world neither can they beat us in the intellectual world without lies tricks oppressions manipulative tactics odd behaviors if Africa industrializes she will become the most powerful if pan-africanism therefore because follow me philosophical moralism liver ideological Humanity a Continental white state or Nation at the political level and at the economic level a highly Advanced system of mass production thus utilizing the most advanced tools with the ability to protect an African nation from all enemies therefore moving from here we simply need a strong leader or president who is truly a pan-africanist well experienced and devoured to lay down his life for Africa without expecting any richness in monetary terms he must understand what africanist philosophy and things does what is meant by African culture however irrespective of the many academic professionals and no service most of the leaders have I personally think 19th century in Addis Ababa is repeating itself and therefore these are doomedays for Africa most of us upon all the agonies we have gone through may not be able to even show a smile before we leave or say goodbye we must be seriously careful about the future of our descendants especially the enemies within must change their attitudes this is no fear mongering we need to work hard to unite the continent and protect Africa master all costs unite now the argument of this piece of work is that the most satisfactory way in which we can hope to explain do adequate adjusted to the meaning of socialism is by grasping these basic Tendencies this means having to find what is significant within them the basic Tendencies may not always be visible at first glance they must be or they must then be abstracted they steal it from giving doctrines and moments or movements the letter contain them mostly in a heterogeneous for us compound mixtures of one another being addition combined with extraneous elements but while on the one hand the basic Tendencies are the results of analysis thus being as it was smaller down the actual doctrines of socialism there are also something more than single you need ideas this point already mentioned in the earlier chapter but must be a fforded special emphasis single ideas in themselves have no body no precise limits no physical circumference the half suggested Force only the attract or repair as the case may be this is especially true of values of ideas like equality freedom justice and happiness as we are occasion to mold value it is precisely on account of the authentativeness their abstractness they are ambiguity values are the common and hardly contested property of a wide variety of ideologies if they we are to endure the ideas of socialism with a reasonable degree of intelligibility the task is to State them in a structured context even if one cannot talk in terms of speaking logical relationships one can note a certain kind of elective feel it which exists among values between values and institutions therefore or there is cozy Union among certain groups of ideas why there may be this harmony when they are forced into contact with others values have other values as derivatives they are also ultimately connected with one or another institutional feature whether political social or economic they also relate to favored methods of change or maintenance of these status in each instance what we have is a microcosity the best structure elements which should reflect the character of the Arena subject of our analysis in some cases this is easier to show that in to 10 then to our sinuses the reader should get Fair one in here
