Hi, I hope you are doing great In this video I am bringing to you the very fast Unboxing and Full Review of this 4K Smart TV Hisense A6G of 50" (2021 model) While you watch this fast Unboxing I will mention some important things about this TV: 1. Its price at least here in my country Colombia is about $430 USD, but the last weekend was on sale for only $370 USD I think $430 USD is avery good price for this TV, now imagine $370 USD. I mean, I think almost everybody will like to buy it 2. Its panel: I have confirmed by taking the photo of its pixel, that this 50" has VA panel

These are the models and their panels according to rtings.com (they reviewed a model with IPS panel) Then remember: this 50" model has VA panel 3. Here in Colombia includes 3 years of warranty directly with the brand 4. I don´t know if this version will be different from the version of North America, Europe or the other continents So, I will show you the Full Review of this Smart TV Hisense A6G of 50" with VA panel But first I will show you what you will find inside the box, also the Inputs and some things about the first power on of this Smart TV Inside the box you will find the user's guide, warranty card, the 2 lateral foot with 4 screws, a couple of batteries The Remote of this TV I think is nice in terms of size and functionalities, it includes microphone, Google Assitant becuase the OS of this TV is Android TV And Hotkeys for popular Apps suhc as Netflix and Youtube The cable powert is attached to the TV And here you can corroborate this is the Hisense A6G (A6GA). I guess the name may vary according to every country or region

INPUTS: composite input; 1 Digital Optical Output; 1 Ethernet; 1 Variable Analog Audio Out which is great for earphones 3 HDMI 2.0 ports (this TV does Not support HDMI 2.1); 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 Input for Antenna. The maximum refresh rate of this TV is 60Hz up to 4K This is how it looks from the botton. The max thickness is about 8,3 cm (3.26") This is how you must install the 2 lateral feets. Just make them match ("L" and "R") as I am showing and put the screws

This is how it looks from the back The holes to install it on a wall mounted base have a distance from each other in vertical of 30cm (11.81") and in horizontal of 20cm (7.87") As I already said the max thickness of this TV is about 8,3 cm (3.26") and its stability is Not bad at all as you can see The screen has these 2 vertical protectors. This TV usually don't have a plastic film cover on screen. Don´t scratch the screen trying to peel it off Borders have this plastic cover which is up to you if you want to take it off First power on: as I mentioned before, the OS of this TV is Android TV This first power on may take several seconds (almost 1 minute) so be patient You now must pick the language (spanish in my case) Also the country (Colombia in my case) Then pick Home Mode Then I skip this step because I don't want to set my TV with any Android Smartphone IMPORTANT: this TV does recognize 5GHz wifi networks which is great!!! The rest of the steps are related to singing with your Google account, accept the terms and conditions, and look for software update In general terms , the smoothness of the OS of this Hisense A6G is good, I thought it was Not gonna be slow, but in fact is very very decent. The time to open Apps is also good The Android version is 9 This TV has 16 GB of storage but available only 11 GB which is more than enough And the RAM memory according to the Hisense website, is 2 GB In order to use the voice commands for example with this App youtube, you first must "re-sync" the remote by pushing the Menu key for a few seconds The sync is done and now I will make a test "4K HDR videos without Copyright" It is very accurate most of the time, in english and in spanish The Screen Mirroring is possible by using some Apps any in the Google Play Store of the Tv which allow this function Or by using the Google Home App of your Smartphone because this TV has Chrome cast built-in Just keep in mind that your Smartphone and the TV have to be connected to the same wifi network Let´s go now with the picture quality comparison starting with th Gray unifrpomity which is Not very good as you can see The Dirty Screen effect is very notorious and this dark "stains" may be noticeable when you watch regular content with a huge part of one vivid color, for example the sky, a football field, etc. In general terms, I think that in terms of colors in SDR and HDR with every picture mode, this TV shows very good results The results in terms of colors are more than good for almost every person, if we keep in mind this is a low-budget TV with VA panel The Peak of brightness of this TV according to my measurements by using a Lux Meter, are 269 nits for HDR and 288 nits for HDR And its Contrast Ratio is 4235:1 You must keep in mind that this TV does Not support Full-Array nor Local Dimming It's backlight technology is conventional LED, apparently Direct LED And even if is amount of HDR brightness is only 288 nits, the HDR experience of this TV in terms of making the content look realistic, is good This TV supports HDR10, HLG, HDR10+ and also Dolby Vision In terms of Black uniformity, as you can see the backlight bleeding is notorious in the 4 borders, and the intensity may vary according to every scene The black colors are Not so black But keep in mind that the backlight bleeding, the clouding effect, and the Not so black black colors, are "problems" of every current Tv with No full-array and no local dimming Keep in mind that this TV is a low-range model The Clouding effect is also notorious but I think is very tolerable And keep in mind that these "problems" (CLouding and backlight bleeding) are much more notorious on TVs with ADS and IPS panels. This one has VA panel

Another thing to keep in mind is that when you watch the screen off-angle These problems are slightly more notorious You can notice it in here in the horizontal black lines at the top and bottom I think that this TV has a very very decent performance if you want to enjoy this type of content with a lot of dark scenes in dark rooms The viewing angles are Not good, but this happens in almost every low-range and mid-range TV with VA panel. Colors look whitish when the viewing angle is wide Hence it is recommended to watch its screen always in-angle or at least Not from a very wide angle in order to avoid watching whitish colors The Reflections Handling is also Not very good, it is worse when compared to TVs with ADS or IPS panels I think that the HDR brightness of 288 nits help this TV to have at least very decent results in this area This TV is slightly decent to enjoy in a room with some artificial light The Motion Handling of this TV is Not very good. You can perceive some slight judder and stutter effects (sometimes very notorious) But apparently this is a problem of TVs with Android TV, at least this is what I have experienced with the TVs I have, and according to some subscribers comments I have noticed these problems on this TV, also on the Hisense H8G (mid-range model), on the TCL P615 and also on the Sony X900H which is an almost high-end TV The motion handling of the Sony X900H is Not the best when compared to other TVs of the same range, but it is much better compared to the aforementioned low-range and mid-range models But apparently this is a problem of TVs with Android TV,, which is notorious Not only by using streaming Apps but also by using a device connected to some input Except video games consoles. These problems are Not so perceptible with video games consoles The Image Upscaling of this TV with 720p (HD) content is very decent, the pixelated areas are very tolerable But with 480p or lower resolution content, the image upscaling is Not so good (happens in every 4K TV). The pixelated areas are much more notorious

With 1080p (full HD) content the image upscaling is very good, you won't notice pixelated areas, the results looks great but it won´t reach a 4K resolution With 1440p content the results look very similar to a 4K resolution Of course this TV can reproduce native 4K content in SDR and HDR without any problems Just keep in mind that if you want to play 4K content by using streaming Apps (Youtube, Netflix, Disney, etc.) you need to have a very good internet download speed Otherwise, these Apps will automatically lower the resolution of the content in order to improve the smoothness Talking about the Gaming performance, you must know that this TV does NOt support ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) The Input Lag time is practically the same in every picture mode. Maybe is 10 ms (I am Not sure) but in practice I think is very decent as you can see But let's see what super demanding gamers think about it Also keep in mind that this TV does Not support any VRR (Freesync or GSync). It does Not support HDMI 2.1 ports, hence its maximum refresh rate in 4K is 60Hz and it does support Dolby Vision The Clouding and backlight bleeding in this video game Destiny 2 might be more or less notorious in some scenes, judge by yourselves These problems might be annoying for some people but very tolerable for others keeping in mind this is a low-range TV These are the results of this video game Resident Evil 7 which also supports 4K and HDR as the video game Destiny 2 does The intensity of the clouding and backlight bleeding is almost the same in every picture mode. It is up to you guys which one you prefer Remember that every picture mode has the same input lag time At the end of this video you will be able to hear and watch the performance of the Sound system of this smart TV Hisense A6_G of 50" which has a power of 16W In terms of sound technologies it supports Dolby Atmos, dolby Audio, Dolby digital and also DTS Virtual:x which is great The sound system quality of this TV is Not bad, but I compared it against the sound system of the TCL P615, and the TCL wins. However, in terms of picture quality this Hisense wins If you ask me if this TV is worth it, I will say YES, especially due to its relatively very low price It is Not a perfect TV but it is very worth to buy This TV has only 2 very noticeable Cons: the motion handling which is apparently a problem of every Android TV, and the sound system which is Not very good but might be enough for Not so demanding users The others "Cons" such as Clouding & backlight bleeding (which I think are very decent) ... and the regular viewing angles, reflections, etc., are normal in almost every low-range TV with VA panel
