Expert Talk - Disruptive Entrepreneurship | Successful Startup Story | Naveen Ganesan
[Music] [Music] [Music] companies now and when they were planning to expand in india as well he supported those companies as well um before uh introduction video introduction startup culture presence let's start up we are back again with a new set of brilliant minds we are happy to welcome naveen kumar ganeshan serial entrepreneur computer programmer strategist disrupter he is a founder of naveen designs and founder and ctv of juno robots stay tuned to know more about him we welcome you again welcome sir thank you so much for joining and you can have the stage hello hello sir yeah yeah your audibles are your audible yeah yeah so we can start the session people are watching on youtube said it it has been stream only yeah okay um so people who are online can you say hi in the chat box yeah people have seen me in few channels chennai vlogger went viral yeah all right let's uh start with this session um this meeting we are going to talk about startups so i have some different kind of insights and i have different kind of ideology that i used to execute when when it comes to a startup i wish to share my experience with you i started working when i was 18 i'm basically into computer programming um so initially the problem i had is i'm not known to many people so after that uh in order to overcome that problem i was uh working part time with the contacts uh referrals that i have bought then i started going to polish and when i was going to the college everything that i had like including my shirt and the bag and the pin every single thing i have i have i had with me everything was brought on my own income and after that the college was nice i took computer science and engineering because computers sorry computer technology computer technology is my area of interest so new programming before joining polish and [Music] the only thing that i want to say about my college life is my final year project i haven't brought any project from the outside i have done something on my own and unfortunately i had to do uh two projects in the final year one project was stopped in the middle and uh after after that i have started another project after the first three months the project got cancelled then i took another project and i was working on it it goes it got the best project of the year award and after that um there was a left project now i started working on it and i finished it when i went to the interview i showed the interviewers like i have done two projects and completed them and they told me like ask me like uh you only have to do one thing and i explained them that it is a work done by me it was stopped in the middle so i had after college i took one month of time and i finished my project i was doing and both are actually innovative projects so both solved real-time problems uh one was based on e-commerce the another one was uh regional news navigation so if you open up a map that will be pointless like if you zoom in into coimbatore you will have different kind of pointers there like one will be in green green means like uh sports news red means hot news and something like uh you might have pointers there will be an option to choose the date so if you see a day if you select a date and if you zoom into into a location means if you choose the color of pointer if you are interested in sports you just have to select sports like that i have done so those projects actually got me 14 placement offers uh i think i i think i had the uh most placement record uh in that college when i studied i'm not sure um but those 14 offers gave me a can i can work in different uh aspects so that changed my uh view about uh designing my career uh i still remember the final day when i went i walked out of my college day uh there is a thought i had in my mind my career and my life is starting here it's not my college night is not coming to an end my career is starting outside this game that is the thought i had so after that um i went to the known context i i used to see the problem they have and i used to tell them that this problem can be solved in this way and there are three people who uh always inspire me and they teach me in different kind of aspects the very first experience i had this like i didn't know how to approach a business person and how to talk to them and i didn't know the professional way of communicating with them since i know that person i asked him a straight away a straight question like uh how did you earn so much money see we are coming in to start startup to build a company um with people like my mindset uh then at the ending we are going to make money right so i just i know he's uh he uh he has crores of money i just asked him how how do you earn so much money and he took me to a nearby coffee shop he brought me a cup of coffee under snacks and i had 10 minutes after 10 minutes i just had some a little amount of coffee left in the cup i had some little amount of snacks left in the plate and he asked me like he told me like i spent 30 rupees for your coffee and 30 rupee for your snack and you have wasted around uh 10 rupees in the leftover so you have already lost 10 rupees so if i'm spending uh 60 rupees on you if you are spending 10 wasting 10 rupees imagine the same amount in troubles that is one kind of learning okay and there is another uh person like i told not three persons the second person actually he is an industrialist um you might have known him he owns industries he wants colleges and he's kind of a person we i rarely find a chance to meet him so if even if i get two minutes of this time i make the time count so when i was speaking to him he started giving me some ideas like don't he told me one thing straight away don't try to sell your product sell them an experience uh give them the solution and follow up with them if they are if a customer is happy um then they will be coming back to you like you might be in a company today you might be uh doing a startup and like in the next year you might come up with a new idea you might be doing another startup it depends like nobody knows how because there is a statistic that says 99 percent of the companies fail only one person surveys and the startups even most of the short terms fail and very less number of startups goes into production and this is not something uh we should take easily okay so if a startup is failing um like when a person is doing starting a company they gather people they put some resource like uh it might be their uh time it might uh it it might improve their money efforts everything so if you're burning up your money if you're out of college and if you're straight away doing it starting a company and building it means then burning money means then you should have either got the money from your parents or from your investor or from the bank test if you're burning money that you have got from the bank seriously it's going to be a very big issue because you have to shop those things out if you are not able to settle those things then the company will be in deep trouble that is the primary reason why what most of the shot ups fail and when i had when i had to start up i initially had um zero funding from my parents uh none of my uh belongings no no like um some some uh some of you might have seen me in chennai blogger in the amazing house video uh be the entire house the automation that was done there the house actually has five power walls covering the entire house it's fully powered using solar the automation i have done there it's just to save my time because i'm um already having a hectic time running this uh startup and i'm also helping other people to come up with the innovation like uh i know where they will pay most of the times so uh so i was busy doing all those things i was not able to take care of the household routines so i made my entire house automated so that it will save me so much time and actually there are two startups that solves the problem in my home like uh there is a venture called nextclub.in um it is a fourth talk on an open source project called next cloud i have started that as a startup to solve the technical like the cloud storage problem that i had um i have a server in my home you might have seen in the video um like when i watch something if i uh if i get a thought that people might be in need of this kind of solution then we can do a startup with it the less amount of money we spend in the initial times the more amount of money we can spend in the research and actually um till date i have the i'm known through the video to millions of people leave that thing aside and if you ask me straight away how many how many people knows me or how many people have uh used my products or software or like my works again i can say the number will touch millions and the primary thing that i used to do when i was doing the short up is uh zero in investment so even if it's the first rupee it has to be it has to come from my earning that is how my situation started and when i was doing all those things i made sure that i'm not going to rent a big office space i'm not going to brand my company at any point of time never i'm not go i have never done all those things i till date i have only issued 25 of the business thoughts only 25 field age when i wanted to index my company's name uh in google i used to do some work i used to give the backlinks to my website and that that way i have done everything i have not spent even a not even a single routine advertisement not even a single rupee to brand my uh like my startup or anything even if you go to my website whatever website you visit if it's a startup that was uh started by me and if it is running you will never see a logo anywhere you will just only see text the text will be given in the like the color schemes only i will choose like based on the nature of the business the rest of the times nothing i haven't even spent so there are um people who claim that marketing is very important yeah if your product is a product or solution or your innovation is so good you don't even have to market the product people will start searching for it like imagine if you are having a room air conditioner if the air conditioner is so good uh even there will be one initial segment of the customers who will need something more out of it okay so if you are trying you are trying to tap into that uh initial segment then your product shouldn't be less better it should be a lot better you know i must use to say this like when you're building a product or a company people come people innovate and do less better like a product that was less better than what's existing in the market but that is not what people wanted okay so the pricing it has to be competitive pricing if you give double the amount of uh options in a half the price with a better service who do you think people will choose so of course this is one way of running a company and the other thing is like uh straight away people uh i have seen many startups who have failed uh don't don't think that i'm talking a lot about the people who have failed because less number of people succeed okay so if if we most of the times we spend time looking at the people who have succeeded but we have a lot to learn from the people who have failed so why did they fail what are the critical points what are all the pain points that made them to fail so the first thing they used to have a very very very like attractive website the website will be so good if you go to the website you will feel like ordering something even if they don't want the product you can make them to buy the product there are a lot of things we can do but once they get the product if they are not happy with it then what is the purpose of having done all these works nothing right so when you are starting a company your product should be technically sound it should be technically um like highly improved if you you have to be a tough competitor like i choose regional businesses most of the time um so when it comes to this segment i target the service as the primary thing there are many glitches that i face when providing a service so i'm coming up with constant innovations so right now i'm into five uh five entities like five entities are full time and i actually yeah someone left a comment like yeah i it's not a 3d printer actually it's an entire 3d print form and what i'm the thing i'm trying to do here is i have told in my channel that i'm doing a joint venture with a company named satya research so let me share my experience you might get something out of it take it as a note if it helps you it's i'm very happy actually this company they had around four missions when i um actually i brought a printer from them you might have seen that in the amazing home video itself and after that i was having some problem with their service i'm not able to get the service on time so they had some glitches they're technically very strong but they were suffering when it comes to service so i asked them if they are ready to if they are actually interested in doing a joint venture and they were very much interested so i brought some share i came i stepped in then i gave them the business idea i refined their uh product lineup i have rebranded their company yeah they let me do they allowed me to do it so what's the problem if i'm having the permission if i'm having the experience then why shouldn't i do something better hello so i rebranded uh their entire startup um startup is now called as panther 3d dot i n so they will be coming up with products like when i came in i just gave them the strategy to be very open like sell the service sell the product uh sell the unit and sell the company we have four options like uh who does that okay so the primary reason why i gave them this option is when you are doing something very innovative people are going to come and people are going to copy your idea and that's that's that always happens okay so if why should we give some competitive uh a space to occupy our own space we don't have to do that but instead we have we can do something else like they can make a friendly competitor like instead of uh taking them as a rival why don't we make them as friendly that option works so if someone wants to set up a print form they are okay they can just approach this startup and they will be setting the print form for them someone wants to buy a printer they can get the customer installation someone wanted a print service they can get the service someone wants to buy the company no problem they will be able to sell the company as well so if someone is having a good deal in the future means you're always welcome i can make i can assure like you will be getting a fair deal um so this is how it works like now the product lineup is refined the service is lined up the stock keeping unit is fully digitalized the present innovation that i'm doing here is now is i'm trying to make the entire thing work without any kind of human intervention at all even if there is a lockdown scenario imagine it might come i'm not sure if that situation comes this form it's entirely powered using solar we i have uh done the my i have shown uh you in the like yeah there is a power wall covering this entire unit only using solar it's outside and this entire unit is controlled by servers that are uh powered by nextcloud.in and we can run this unit from anywhere like uh if we are getting that uh frustrated um from getting order doing the work delivering the parcel everything like i'm trying to automate every single part of it so that no human intervention might be needed uh you can take this as advantage in two scenarios when the lockdown hits no problems and when there is a shortage of labor taking no problem when we depend upon a lot of people to do the regular works if they are highly skilled we should not employ them doing all these kind of low-level jobs so we hire only technicians the highly technical people uh it's really a tough job to get the technical the highly talented people and organizing a team that's really really tough that is what our primary focus is we hire i try to attract so much amount of talent talented people uh when you when you surround yourself with talented people regardless of success or failure you know what you have done you know the impact you have given and that will give you some a big kind of inspiration like it's something big than running the company itself like whatever you do if your service and product is so much better automatically the money will come so that's simple logic we never worried about the money we make we always focused on giving the better product and the better solution that is the primary focus money always came by itself uh we had you know we have uh every time we done a startup uh there are a few moments where the startup failed but it was my adamant nature i was that i was not ready to give up so what the thing i used to do is i used to from the startup i used to improve the service i used to contact the people and ask for their pain points i used to improve i improve it in whatever way possible so if whatever product i do whatever service i provide whatever the startup uh i do joint venture with i make sure that they run for a very long time see um if you leave a startup it's not just you who is uh leaving the company and closing it it's your customer who trusted you who expected something from you is also failing so we should never give that kind of a chance to happen like no zero uh that is how it should be if you have any specific questions i know like this is i have i'm not showing you any kind of presentation or anything i just wanted to give you a different kind of approach to how actually a startup can be done without yeah having anything the one more another thing that i wish to share with you is like uh straight away people go into a private limited setup so if you are mine brainstorming an idea then initially you can go for a llp then if uh if you do trialing for one year if you are very sure if you are very confident that this is this is how we are going to do and this is what we are going to do then you can upgrade to a private limited company that is something i i recommend to every uh entrepreneur i come across and that that actually uh help them to focus a lot in their product or service than running the company itself so that is one thing i wish to add up here so always make sure uh even if the lockdown hits it's not an excuse it's so it's a chance and if you're really innovative you just have one more problem to solve lockdown is just another problem nothing else okay so it's that easy and yeah you can i know it's uh i know it's like uh hitting your head in the brick uh that's how a startup environment actually feels and yeah that's what we do right like uh if if you're if you really wish to be an entrepreneur you don't really need any kind of inspiring words from any person if you're getting a startup idea if you are getting inspired by some person and if you uh really need that kind of uh boost from time to time think about it see going for a job is not a bad thing okay so even if you're running a startup that people will come and approach you for a job there so job is not a bad option entrepreneurship is not is not a good option as well so there are a lot of approach and there are a lot of points and make sure that whatever the risk you take is worth it and always like the way we run the company is one thing like the second thing most of the youngsters nowadays are doing is like ruining their health like ruining your health um see it's like say i'm a 90s kid i have seen people like uh they work hard but every day they have time to spend with their family and nowadays lockdown has given us a lot of chance but say in the previous days uh it's like when you're stressing out yourself it's like just like putting a scar in the wall of your heart but nowadays if you stress we are stressing so much you're like it's just like uh hitting your heart with a knife like you're stabbing it it's not gonna get cured so once your health is out everything is out your company fails your innovation goes out you have nothing else to take care of it's just your health and the only uh the next thing you have to worry about will be your family so even if you're running a startup even if you're making a huge profit even if you're making it as a failure doesn't matter take care of your health uh eat and sleep in time and that is very important see imagine if you have made 500 crores in the next 50 years and you have you have to rest in the hospital bed instead of enjoying uh with the money you have earned what is the purpose behind it it doesn't make sense like so imagine something that is achievable and then go beyond it um don't stress out yourself too much always eat and sleep take care of your health your our health is something we that we take for granted like nobody has and startup nowadays can have any kind of scale even i have a startup uh you do you know what we do there like we stop the advertising people from reaching the right setup audience we don't want any kind of advertisement to enter into an office or enter into a house see that that is a startup we advertise to stop the advertisement so when we uh do a very great job and see advertising means we are from the word of mouth reference and when we tell someone that we can stop an advertisement and they people show a lot of interesting see there are companies that makes advertisements which people go and search in um streaming platforms and they see the videos of their advertisements and see that kind of advertisements is something and if when people gets irritated and then it is also an opportunity so you will get opportunities everywhere possibilities are endless [Music] so you can do a lot of things make sure you're in good health to tap the next opportunity as well and you you don't have to uh stick with only with one startup or one innovation in your lifetime so if you are in a good health you can do a lot and if you have any questions you can let me know in the comments i think i have added something to consider um yeah i hope it helps someone yeah it definitely did so thank you so much and there is a question as well how many fails did you face come again how many failures did you face yeah i i i um like see if a company is failing then it will be burning cash so it will be going out of business so if i have enough money to fund the company uh i can automatically um stop the company from failing so even if that if a comp like um when our company is failing there will be some critical points so there are moments then where the entire business model uh is not needed anymore but that's not something with my case i always came up with an innovation and i started running a company to drive it so till date i have closed two inches like one is an e-commerce site another one is a classy field site those are the two things that i have started right after my school days and i have closed them because it was too early people at that time they have been doing uh recharges for their mobile phone for 1gb of data for an entire month and it didn't make any sense like people was uh not trusting uh the online uh e-commerce sites that much when flipkart entered they sold like um items below thousand rupees they gained their trust and they changed the entire mission people heard about e-commerce like when you uh talk about e-commerce in the uh time of 2006 to 2008 people will think that someone is going to scam you by sending a brick inside a big parcel you're not going to get any phone inside see that is that is a uh kind of uh mindset that people have uh had at that time so big tech giants who came in and they have changed it actually it's free um like it's like freeing freedom like that they have changed the entire thing for us so yeah victim tech companies they change a lot of things we get something for free and they took our pain points and they worked on it so we are just having the creamy layer like we don't have to do all those things like it was too early that it failed but i gave up because i didn't find any kind of uh scope in that so it was too early so that was uh two things the rest of the things i don't shut the businesses yeah i make sure that a business is never shut so that someone who comes into my enterprise actually there is one thing uh we don't want to accept everyone as a customer like there are some uh critical points so when when we are getting a customer it is uh we take it very seriously and we understand that the customer is in need of this product if they are not in having any kind of need for this product we're not selling the product because once we sell something that they don't want just because we are going to make money it's going to give us trouble in the long term like uh if a product is not being used uh yeah it just gives you money if you're just behind money then it's a different scenario but all of my innovations is not just behind money i focus on impact so when there is an impactful product you will get a lot of opportunities so whenever someone has a kind of a challenge their work environment in their office or anywhere the first thing and they they will get in their mind is my name so so i branded my name i started an enterprise with it yeah it was working very well great and uh that is another one other question uh one person has an idea and i he doesn't know how to proceed with the idea and make it successful as a starter okay and he he also said about uh said said this for the past speaker so i can guess that he's working on some idea which can help the blind and visually challenge people to do something okay if you're targeting that segment imagine like how many people has that kind of difficulty uh the physical difficulty and how many of them will be able to offer like if you're giving a costly costlier solution if you are giving a less costly cost effective solution uh you you can just uh get the numbers like you can be sure like uh if there are one pro one pro is the population if 100 people are having this problem and when you're running as a company you should have some social responsibility as well so if you're making a product that is affordable only to 10 people sell them that sell them a pre sell them the most of the innovation you can do for them first so that you will have raised you know funds try to make the tech more affordable sell them to the rest if it is possible if you have made enough money out of it uh deliver one something at one rupee okay you i'm not asking you to do for free just sell for one rupee see one rupee is affordable uh see if if uh that innovation has to reach 100 people it will be just 100 rupees okay so there are times we can buy a coffee for 150 rupees someone will give that 150 even like don't think it's just 150 rupees with that 150 rupees if you're really creative you really can do something innovative even with that 150 rupees uh and after that you can pay your own company that 150 rupees or 100 rupees and you can give give the product to them you don't have to sell for free you can fund yourself you can pay your own company and you can uh like when you sell something for free uh i don't think uh it's valued so if you sell something even for one rupee and you consider that as a save so when you consider something as the same you pay a lot of attention towards it like um so even if your payment it counts that is something i would like to share and yeah it is scalable they know their existing market and don't so don't just see this as a product or a chance to do business we should have the service mindset in this as well [Music] you have to sleep at least uh eight hours in solaranga but i only sleep for six hours max so rest of the time patina and i want to if it's possible i do multitasking i don't do the household uh works uh i have auto like switch fan on but other than they're like doing all those things i have automated so i'm gaining some more time so on the timeline if i'm able to talk to someone who has already uh built the company they are running it for years if i'm able to get one minute of their time uh i should be ready for it like see i car is my primary mode of travel and the readiness level the four doors every single door has an umbrella automatic umbrella so other thing that it's kind of a preparation like uh if you ask me about the potential of youtube youtube has a lot when it comes to computer science and technology i'm not sure about other uh skill set and resources when it comes to computer science and technology and you can find a lot of people who have put uh 10 plus years of experience 15 plus years of um like industrial experience they poured everything in videos in their own channels you just have to find you just have to know how to find the right content like viral contents are different okay and when you uh search for these kind of innovations you're not going to get it right away you have to like if youtube gives you uh 10 uh results page i will make sure that i go to the temp page so i i i will never even miss a single thing most of the time i used to skip the first page because um those who are successful in it might have been there like the rest of the companies they are struggling to get into the first page so what is the trouble they are facing we are going to face the trouble so if you are going to solve another problem uh in a creative way uh you will be able to make the first page very easily and there are a lot of not a lot of blogs i read i only read selectively and technical channels i follow a lot of technical channels um yeah that's pretty much it i learn every day every single day that is something new i actually have a dedicated server to that manages my bookmarks and if i don't have a time i just save the page for reading it later so even if the internet goes out i have the amazing home has the entire wikipedia available offline i have all the my favorite websites available offline i have all the uh educational videos that was uh shared in creative commons license that was available offline like yeah even there is like a movie streaming services here like call it netflix prime anything there is a movie streaming service that is running inside my house now my house is one gigabit network uh capable and yeah i can watch a video in my phone i can pass it and go to my laptop and continue there i always prefer the dual monitor uh setup even yeah this is the print form you can have see the dual monitors set up there like everything when you have a lot of um things to see easy like this is my phone dual stream yeah it helps in multitasking so why not there are a lot of possibilities i hope okay it would be great i guess if you give us a tour about your uh uh place it it's so much filled with then i get a mechanical lab cooler upon my video no no this is this is the workplace this is one of my workplace uh i'm just having a 30 share like here um my work here is to automate this entire thing so that it works without human interest so it doesn't need any too much to attend the space so i'm trying to make this as a cyber 9 of india so that's it i'm great we'd like to see that uh sooner or later and i think uh we will be releasing a video with as i collab with chennai blogger sometime soon chennai vlogger is a youtube channel um naveen research tamil is my uh my youtube channel i speak technology in tamil there yeah people seems to follow it like but there is something i do in that channel like i tricked the algorithm to uh from i i i always wanted to make the youtube algorithm to promote my videos lesser than other videos i really i'm not into the kind of trending viral kind of thing i don't i'm not targeting into that kind of a huge audience page because a lot of people try to reach out to me and when i'm already running uh these many things like when i'm trying to make uh whatever time that i have to make it useful i really find it very difficult to i mean when a video goes to like imagine uh amazing house video i think it went around 2.3 million views it was trending a lot of people trying to contact me i was already feeling burnt off having taken the phone calls and i'm switching over to fully uh full emails as the primary mode of communication a lot of people are coming in give me the phone number give me the phone number i'm not able to give the phone away because i'm already having a burning effect because of this phone i'm trying to ditch the phone and move on to something else like see in that video itself i haven't i have shown the innovation that i have done in my house i have never promoted like i'm selling this product or that or i have never promoted i have never uh like when you show something is available it can be done people will start up like they will start searching if i'm not reachable if they are not able to get in touch with me and they will come and look after the people who are next who they already knew like uh if i'm telling a fan could be an automatic one it can have climate control and see every air conditioner has a climate control in it okay every car has one so it's not something that we cannot put inside a fan but why aren't we thinking so that's uh something simple like nowadays uh it's very like we are able to get the components very easily i'm just into computer science and programming is my primary uh area of work but i have learned electronics myself and i have i was i have done all those things so it was kind of challenging uh but yeah in the long run i had so much amount of free time so it works so that imagine like if something has a feature in it if you think that feature can be very helpful in something else why don't you do it like i have uh given an awareness to like 23 million sorry 2.3 million people in youtube i think almost every news channel has covered me every newspaper had an article about me and people are coming uh in search of uh innovations like this they are not like yeah people do search for me but i made sure that they also search for you as well like everyone who is willing to do a startup people are actually searching for you instead of me i made that i made sure that happens happened uh yeah it's happening um i have came across a few people they identified me somewhere and they used to say like yeah i have seen your video i have seen that innovation and i asked a college student who was living next door and he has done me all these things and he is planning for a startup see that is something i want to and that is happening and whatever you do whatever innovation you come up with there are people who are going to spread the false information about you who are going to cost your reputation just don't mind and if your intention is something that is very clear focus on it and let it grow and the next question is who's your role model uh my neighbor actually a grandpa came there his name is palani chami he was working in bh here uh he was the he is my role model uh the reason is like uh say my name is naveen and he had another relative named he was he is in chennai and he used to tell me like uh see that navi is contacting this scientist for this clarification and you're here sitting and doing nothing you're just eating food and sleeping you're fit for nothing like that he used to criticize me so when i whenever i get it down i make sure that i reach the right person i and he used to teach me how to write a letter like that is something i have learned from him i know how to write an email and get a reply for that so um yeah this is uh online of exp one experience i wish to share like uh after the chennai vloggers video amazing home uh uh a student name i think he's studying in school um might be seventh grade he's from euro district and he approached me and i told him that i brought this printer from this startup and he went there and he brought he brought a machine a 3d printer for his own use and i think last week i spoke to the school kid and he told me like he have given that a printer to his uh his mother is actually running a business uh based out of hero and you know this guy like see kids has an amazing talent when they go and ask for an uh business opportunity to someone people are right away without any kind of hesitation or thinking they will just uh give give them like to encourage them he uh got orders for 100 phone stacks in a single order and he told me that he wrote me an email like he will be paying his uh the part of his school fee on his own and the last information i have received from him is like he had he has got some thousand orders like i really don't know where do these people come from if they grow up like yeah i'm gonna be in trouble i i have to make sure that i write him an email and to get a response from him like i see him with the potential and when he finishes college and when he comes into business like uh those are all the kind of people i'll i would like to work with and see innovation uh it's driving like if you have that burning uh desire to achieve something knows nothing is going to stop you from anything so my neighbor grandpa is my role model great and uh what's your biggest achievement that's my biggest achievement um have i made any achievement i i don't know i don't consider anything as an achievement i really don't pay attention towards it much and see like if i have spent this one day if i'm not going to recreate about wasting this day in my uh entire lifetime then i think that would be an achievement say it's so great and one thing that you wanted to share it to all the students who are watching this video because everyone has students like everyone are from the student community mostly and they have little of ideas with them and they create some final year projects and that's how their life is right now what did you like to share it to them yeah that is the purpose of having this uh entire video conversation and final thing that you wanted to share it with us final thing is like uh if you're going to do a startup don't think it's going to be just like uh don't think a startup is an easy way to make money it doesn't work that way if you are uh going to uh get the investment from your parents or from uh some entity or some from your founders i'm sorry sorry uh some um people who are investing ready to invest like investors or known people or anything and that is one kind of uh segment but when you are driving something uh to um add fuel to your like if it is something innovative you really have to work hard um it doesn't matter where you are how your bra how good your branding is like see it does matters when your product is so sound your customer will come to you and they will give you an advice to brand your product like this like that if i saw this there and it was very attractive why don't you do something that is the uh that is the point you have to uh consider about all those things rest of the time think about uh the product like when you're having a 15 minutes of free time if you're uh in that free time if your company if your product if your service if your innovation is coming to your thought then you should do it like that is the um see if one if you're not getting that kind of if you're not getting any thought about your startup uh it's really going to be uh some kind of end up in some kind of trouble uh one point or another so if you if you are going to be an entrepreneur it's going to take um it's it's going to test you like whatever the capabilities you have it's going to test it it's going to get tested um so yeah that that is something i would like to add great thank you so much that's the primary reason why i started a youtube channel like uh yeah i'm not finding enough time to um make a video edit it and um in my channel like i don't nowadays i stopped asking people to like and share like subscribe like all those things like because i i can save some time and time on it see when something is good uh it's informative if it's conveyed it's done i don't want much people to follow if they follow it's fine even if they're not even if nobody is watching yeah it's fine i have uh put something there so even if after 100 years youtube's like see uh yahoo was a giant yogurt like nobody i i don't think anyone has a male account with yahoo nowadays see trend changes okay so i made sure like uh i'm not posting my contents to a single um like single platform i i'm going to diversify it uh if it's possible my amazing home will uh like post all the videos so that people can have it whenever they want yeah that's something i'm planning i whenever i get free time i will try to make a video in my channel and if you have any kind of queries you can drop me an email as well um yeah it's like uh i can prioritize your emails like mention the name startup culture and the title give a comma and then write your title there so i can be sure like i already know you and from where that would be very easy i will set up a filter main filter so that every single one of your emails goes into a certain category i will try to prioritize and reply in those things yeah thank you so much so thank you so much also please share your mail id so that i can share it to all the people who are watching that yeah this is my email uh hello at naveengarnickson.com is my email
uh you can find it find it in almost in every video i post to my channel and chennai blog is amazing home you can find it there yeah this is one email yeah great so i'll be posting this uh email id over there in the chat box so that you can get in touch with sir um and thank you so much sir for joining us and being with us and uh helping us to grow the ecosystem even better and thank you so much thank you yeah sure actually uh student someone is asking like in youtube like okay um what kind of startup i can do like like and that is the question they are facing see like when i was in college uh another batch of students uh they had an interesting concept like and they i think they brought the project somewhere but it was an interesting one like instead of having all your emails rooted into inbox you will first root all the emails into uh categories in the subfolders you can have in the left so whatever thing that was left it will reach your inbox or if it's a spam it will go to spam like if they have done their project very well means then it is something that uh entrepreneurs like who don't find or more free time and they they will be seriously they are looking for something some innovation like that they don't want every email to go into the inbox like uh whenever i think i'm having a difficulty i used to get i get a thought of about their project they have done so you can do anything like i started a youtube channel without a gmail account so see that that is something technical people will think why did this guy how did this guy uh did this thing and that is what most people thought and they didn't realize why i have done that in the first place see gmail is offering an email account for free if i'm not considering that free service then there is something behind it like whenever something is free it's not really free when uh unless and until it is an open source software or open source platform which you can take and run for yourself if someone is spending money behind it somehow they are going to make money about a money on it and they sell your data or something there is a catch always a catch and so i made sure that i'm not getting uh falling into those kind of aspect uh traps so i i created a youtube account without a gmail account so that's possible and if you think why i have done that you can learn a lot like when it comes to a startup you can do startup with a lot of ideas if it is a small startup spend your free time there if you think it can revolutionize spend your full time there and if you think you can change the world over time there i think it's this answers the question great thank you so much sir on that and as well uh would you like to share and i think to our students uh before we yeah i think um that is one thing we all should remember when we are crossing the road we should first look to the right and to the left and to the right i see a lot of people uh getting in getting in in an accident uh see that's something we can avoid you should know how to cross a road basic skill you should take care of your health if you're healthy you can do a lot of things you have a long time to go even if your startup fails now it might succeed after 20 years like um my friends did this in 2011 and i'm in need of such kind of an innovative i like if they have done that innovative project and if they have uh came out of with a company they should have uh like they should have surveyed for 10 years to make it as a usable product make it as a solution see it's a very long time no one is going to open up a company and wait for 10 years but they they did all those things when no one is in need of it but we are in need of it like if your innovation is not needed now it might be needed in some other time so make sure you hit it when the right time comes yeah that's it if uh someone wants uh has a lot of questions means then we can do another session maybe yeah sure sir sure actually people want you to speak even even for half an hour and one heart together from now on and now as well i will talk for days continuously because i like rest of like apart from sleeping and eating the rest of the even my leading i used to uh like go into some kind of i used to play some videos and i used to watch them while eating see that is how i most of the time i spend like if you ask me to talk i can talk a lot but i don't know if it will be like appropriate for you to enhance like the startup thing so if you have if you can frame up your questions into a list maybe i can give you some kind of a precise answer the one you are looking for and that would be very useful definitely sir i'll also ask them uh to connect with you uh students please do connect with any uh if you have any doubt technology look at out here in galaxy you can send the mail to him and i have added the mail id there and i'll also pin the main id in short notice like uh so you can connect with them and uh get uh get more information about him and i'm really sorry unfortunately you can definitely connect with sir and get in touch with them thank you so much and in the program in the program order follow up on amanda pandrona ideas if you have an idea you can enroll yourself to the question paper number question on the question tomorrow i will be sharing your question before on the question paper learning you write uh write the questions and once if you are getting selected we will uh nurture you will help you build your startup and we'll also connect you with artel funding which has already been available in our government as well so if you are interested please do write that question and answer session and that's how we can know that you are really okay i'm interrupting you um are you using google bombs uh yeah we do google forms yeah yeah i have a serious privacy concern with one company in this planet and if i'm not given any other option you maybe you can ask some student group to come up with a solution to make the forms feeling very easier like yeah something is free but if they can do something else for free and if they have a parent company and a child company the child company does the forms imagine like if they are taking it as a financial project they can work it out they can give the advantage to forms for free so that they can have it as a learning experience so the next year uh people who are third years who are coming into the fourth year if they are having to take up the thing they are going to take over a company like an entity with one year of experience and they can run it so like nowadays i see everything coming from a single big tech company and that's something that is that doesn't feel okay but when this company goes out of business and we are all in deep trouble so we can solve like we don't have to give innovation every time if there is something if we can do something uh similar even that works nowadays so yeah i think that that would be an idea someone can try as a final project at least yeah hope they try and get back to me so that i can use it in my channel as well it was really great so thank you so much for having you here and uh thank you all students and thank you naveen and thank you price university and famed technology and thank you sincere thanks to aic rise as well and [Music] social potence who helps us training the students as well and thank you so much and thank you so much for having me here sir we'll all meet meet again by tomorrow morning 9 30 as you should and thank you so much bye bye take care
