Hello, my name is Rabi Anam and I'm one of the producers for Blackout Studios. I'm going to showcase the game we've been working on for the past few months, BitterSweet. BitterSweet is a side scrolling platformer focused on fast-paced movement and interacting with the environment to traverse levels.
BitterSweet takes place in a candy factory where all workers are also made of candy, A little like the Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory, but for candy. In the game, you play as worker 3E-63, who, after an incident operating the machine, gets discarded by the candy factory he works at, forcing him to escape for his life from the factory. As in many platformer games, BitterSweet puts emphasis on movement and level traversing.
The player can run, jump, and dash, allowing them to reach certain areas and speed run the levels. The jump and double jump allow the player to reach certain areas and dash, allowing for a quick traversal through the levels. What sets BitterSweet apart from other platformers is the fact that the player uses the candy cane as a spear, which can be thrown to interact with the environment, such as with buttons, or be used to hang from it, such as with softballs and conveyor belts. Make platforming more challenging.
We have environmental mechanics to offer challenges for the player. We have conveyor belts which can be seen in horizontal or vertical positions, allowing the player to be moved forward or backwards as well as up and down. Horizontal conveyors that are stuck to the ceiling can be used by the player to move over hazards. The direction of some conveyor belts are fixed, but others can be changed by interacting with buttons. Buttons allow for changes in
the environment to happen, such as changing the direction of conveyor belts as mentioned before, as well as opening doors to go on to the next level or access closed areas. Apart from these, we have drop platforms that after a certain amount of time that the player has spent on top of it, drop causing the player to fall sometimes even onto damaging areas. The game's art style is based on propaganda posters, a very distinct 2D look and a paper like texture from the visual noise. The colors we chose for the environment are muted to represent oppression and the main character opposite for trying to escape it. Hope you enjoy, BitterSweet, thanks for watching.
Welcome to Stolen Stitches, the 2.5 D side scrolling beat em up where you don't just fight for glory, you fight or fashion. Light attacks are quick and snappy. Great for slapping those annoying birds into the next week. Heavy attacks, slower, stronger, and perfect for what you really need to make a statement.
And for those times when getting close feels a little... stabby. You've got range attacks, ideal for keeping distance while still be deadly. Dodging is key. If you don't roll you'll be reduced to patchwork. Literally. Timing is everything.
Miss a roll and you'll eat dirt... or feathers. You get the idea. Not a lone needle in this haystack. Bring up to three friends for a chaotic cooperative adventure! Revive fallen friends. Toss each other around (strategically or not) and share the glory.
Or just keep it to yourself. Teamwork makes the seam work. Try a 'Cannonball' Crouch, get kicked and fly head first into your enemies. Down but not out.
Use the revive mechanic to bring your thread mates back into the fray. Friendship is the strongest fabric, after all. Each handcrafted level is more than just a scenic backdrop. It's a deadly runway. You explore a forest, a cave, another forest, but now with fungi, and other charming places where those birds will try to kill you.
As you stitch your way forward, you'll learn new tricks and immediately be thrown into situations that demand you use them. No pressure, right? Need to blow off steam between missions? Step into the PvP arena and turn your friends into fabric confetti. It's every tailor for themselves in this stylish showdown. This is a tale of courage, of friendship, of fabric theft.
Stolen stitches coming soon. Congratulations on your new role as a package delivery driver. Welcome to the team.
Today we're going to deliver 10 packages throughout the map. We can see the delivery zones by the light beams and in the down left corner on the mini map. Let's head down there and deliver some packages. We start in the city and we have the delivery zone just in front of us.
We deliver our packages by simply shooting with our cannon on a mounted on our car. Different with different types of packages. They all have a different trajectory and those delivery zones are hidden behind obstacles, but we can get rid of the balloons first before we can hit the delivery zone.
We have to get quickly from one part of the map to the other, do so and jump over obstacles. We can find ramps right around the map and we can do amazing tricks in order to deliver our packages. If we deliver them while flying or driving quickly, we get even time added to our timer.
We have more time to get to the next delivery zone. In order to even quicker on the highway. We can hit the time speed limits to give us a little speed boost. We have another tricky delivery zone here which is not easy to reach just for our Canon. To help us we can find animals around the map that help us deliver. We have just to hit them in the right moment in order to hit a delivery zone If we ever run low on time.
You can also find time signs throughout the map that can give us 15 seconds. But while driving around you have to be careful not to hit any pedestrians or other car. Or Clown Cars. Clown cars spawn a lot of angry clowns and you really don't want to get in trouble with them. If you ever do, you can use the two special packages, the Cannonball and the Rocket, in order to help you get away.
Now we almost delivered all our packages, just one left. We have to drive into the fantasy forest and deliver one last package to the rancing reindeers. With a little speed boost we can rush through the forest and we win. This and much more you can experience in the industry redefining realistic delivery simulator Drop-Off Duty. Beloved Agatha is a 3D first person horror game about investigating the protagonist's old orphanage after he received a mysterious letter from a childhood friend he hasn't heard from in years, a girl by the name of Agatha. In order to solve the mystery of Agatha Edmund, the main character, we'll have to get through childish puzzles that will prompt him to remember his youth while he uncovers the clues and messages left behind by his dear friend amidst the ruins.
One of the mechanics of the game is the torch. The player will have it at their disposal at any time to turn it on and off, although it is advisable to have it switched on as they will have the ability to interact with certain objects that react to the touch, helping progress either by giving the player relevant information or by opening the way forward. In addition, to move forward, Edmund will have to open different doors of the mansion. For this, he will have to find the music boxes that will provide him with the necessary keys. The first puzzle that Edmund will have to face will be to solve the password of the chest of his old friend.
For this, he will have to find the wooden blocks with the letters and put them in the corresponding holes. Besides, the page of Agata's diary will give him the clues to solve the puzzle. Once opened, Edmund will have to take the music box to Agata's trophy furniture, where it will open and he will get the key to go to the principal's office. In the principal's office, Edmund will have to open the secret safe.
For doing that he will have to get the password by placing in order the books in Roman numerals. Inside the safe he will get the master key of the orphanage that will give him the opportunity to open all the other rooms with the exception of the music room. To solve the girls bathroom puzzle, Edmund will have no choice but to explore in the boys bathroom to find a path that will lead him there. Along the way, Edmund will have to pay close attention to his surroundings, as the signs will be a great help to find out the order in which to remove the doll's teeth. As the game progresses, Edmund will be drawn into a darker atmosphere. The tension will increase and he will realize that paranormal events are taking place in the orphanage.
In the playroom, Edmund will have to follow the rules to get to the music box and overcome the puzzle. So he will have to tidy up the room by putting all the dolls in the wooden box. Then in the classroom, he will have to make memory and remember his classmates or go back to their rooms as he will have to place the dolls in the corresponding places. Finally, with obtained keys, Edmund will have the possibility to open the locks of the music room.
Once inside, he will have to repeat the melody of the piano to find the last music box. What happened at Saint George? Why did they leave in such a hurry? And what happened to his beloved Agatha? Will you be able to help Edmund solve this? Let's find out. Trying out the game. Hello everyone, we are Hamairu presenting our game Numbra.
Numbra is a third person 3D action adventure game with stealth, puzzles and exploration elements. It takes place in a desolate and ominous world where a young girl faces dark creatures that lurk in every shadow. With each step the danger grows, but there is only one rule. To stay awake.
Lucy, our protagonist, will have to explore and advance through this desolated and post apocalyptic city on her own. She'll have different encounters with the Cyclops, the nightmares that roam this new and Dark World. She will have to avoid being seen by them, or else she'll fall into an eternal sleep. She will first encounter the giant cyclops, who control all the others and are looking for the last human awake, which is Lucy. But she will have to always avoid being seen by this one's light because she will immediately have no way of escaping. She will also find herself in dangerous situations with the normal sized Cyclops, the minions of the giant, and even though they are smaller, they will be able to chase her in different moments throughout the game.
Lucy will have to be fast and smart to avoid getting caught by this once in the persecution scenes, but not all will be like that. There will also be moments in the game that will allow the player to relax and observe this Dark World while solving different puzzles that will block Lucy's path. She'll be able to interact with the world, push and pull to get objects out of her way, and she will also use the crouching mechanicçto pass through small spaces or even jump to get to different places. to pass through small spaces or even jump to get to different places.
By combining these mechanics, she will use them simultaneously in different puzzles that require, for example, to move a box to a certain spacein order to be able to jump from a higher place into that box and overpass the existing obstacle. This will also apply in other types of puzzles, such as the Infected Cinema, a cinema that is home to some weird abstract nightmares that will also try to catch Lucy. However, these nightmares won't move like the Cyclops, but they will make use of several highlights that will trap Lucy if she's seen by one. She will have to avoid these nightmare lights while she solves her way out of the cinema by interacting with the light system.
Help Lucy in her journey through this never ending limbo. But remember, you'll have to stay awake.
