Association besides I'm extremely privileged to welcome honorable Chief guests now I would thank you sir for giving us your precious time now I would like to request a principal ma'am Dr kindly felicited our honorable GPS thank you foreign good evening everybody at the outset I am really sorry I could not join so long it took me to change from one device to another to the next one but on behalf of SB College Science Association I welcome you all for the inaugural function I really will come our chief guest senior scientist from drdo Pune for this occasion we said at SP College we have a science Association which is linked which links all different Departments of science that is botany zoology chemistry mathematics Electronics physics and even geography so across different science departments and not only science even students from other faculties also take part in the activities of the science Association so it is a very active Association which is at the SP College and every year we organize many guest lectures quiz competitions PowerPoint competitions even the exhibitions they students make many different types of projects and these projects are totally made on their own ideas and teachers only support them and our college is the one which supports students for buying some small things also we have a funding for that so that they can really Implement their ideas and make projects and there is the project competition every year so we are actually really uh very unfortunate for last two years that we could not arrange this type of project exhibition competition for the students we arrange it right from 11th 12th to uh postgraduate students so that is a very good occasion in our College every year we which we could not do and because of that actually in last year our science Association in charge and the entire team has arranged online essay competition and actually uh what happened is the science Association programs which used to be within the college and within uh 11th days to MSC last year because of online uh this competition essay competition became National level and 700 students across India took part in this science it's a competition last day it was another a good thing which happened with the lockdown last year and from the 700 essays we selected 60 good as says it says related to different aspects of Kobe different aspects of Science and we have published a book on you so that was another thing which we found that when something happens like when it was it was locked down our com we could get National level competition of science it's a competition for the students but of course that uh contact and the interaction with the students for the science Association lecture series or inaugural lecture as well as project competition we are really missing and students are also missing I welcome all of you sir once again uh for the inaugural talk of this session and everybody is really waiting to hear you we know that what brdo is doing today to make only in December 21 upon so the equation and I think all of us are very much eager sir to listen thank you very much and all the best to entire science Association team for the entire originally from pandarpur he did his schooling from speed and diploma in mechanical engineering from kolhapur he had joined Armament research and development in 1982 he has completed part-time B degree from kusro wadia Institute of Technology Pune by attending evening classes he has completed me mechanical with specialization in advance weapon technology and passed in first class with distinction he had carried out the doctoral research in the field of weapons from defense University sir has avoided with Commendation in 1999 and 2005 at National level is awarded as the lab scientist of the year in 2006. his heading emergency escape system for pilot division until now he have carried out research work on various weapon systems like air defense gun tank gun and architary gun system rocket launcher pinaka system Etc he has done the specialization in design and development of ordinance Servo control system composite material technology Etc sir has stayed months together with the soldiers at sensitive areas at loc in various terrains as in pokharna deserts where the temperature is above 48 degree centigrade in summer and also in leha in Himalaya where the temperature is minus 40 degree Centigrades in hard winter apart from Office duties sir is interested to build up a confidence in society through scientific approach and working as honorary vice president Maharashtra pranth unit bharti and all India organization known as swadeshi science movement of Bharat thank you very much sir um I would like devdas sir please proceed with his talk I will take this
