Ageless - What is “true” success?

[Music] hi this is eric and aurelia and we're here to talk about life and interesting things what shall we think but in the end we leave that up to you either way what we have to talk about is ageless hi so how would you define true success in general for people when i think we would need to start with defining success before we can go into true success or i have to throw the question back and say you know why do you feel you need to have that disclaimer did you just throw me a question i did well this is the first time i love it well uh what was the question why you feel you have to put true to success um i think because a lot of people at least in my work they they combine or they understand uh probably in every industry but i work in many industries so whatever but i i think it's like a material a material success and i'm not saying that's not a true success i could be on one hand asking true meaning material or true meaning spiritual whatever is true to you so i guess it's like how could you have like how do you define success for yourself does that answer your question yes so personally for me successes whenever i do something where then i feel i did the best i could and i am satisfied with the outcome no matter what that is yeah so it's a personal thing that everyone has to kind of define what success is for them because i know even just from my upbringing and also my adult life like working with clients like even if they have material success then like there's some there's the next step of success or they hit this wall like but then they're just not happy anymore you know so like success is always evolving yes because for example i mean you know but probably our audience doesn't because i really speak about that but my background is in corporate world and i used to be really very very successful like i i had a stage in my career where most people like they can only dream of it but never reach it because the top is for the few only and one morning i realized i went to work and i realized oh my god this is seriously not fulfilling me anymore because first of all i am doing my best yes that is true but i was doing it for the wrong reasons i was doing it for numbers i was doing it you know that the company looked good like all these kinds of things and like i devised strategies to convince people to spend let's say a hundred thousand dollars when really all they needed in honesty was to spend a gadget for 10. and i said well you know i cannot do that anymore i mean and the people were happy with it and they would not know that but i did and so i decided you know i cannot do that anymore so it didn't fulfill me anymore so i could no longer define this as success even looking from the outside you know it was the same thing i was earning this amazing many figure salary and you know i had all the perks and everything but i no longer felt successful and so that's and when i decided okay i give this all up that's when i started to become a healer and thereby that was a very successful move for you yes it was but at that time people were thinking i'm in a cult or you know i'm like whatever happened to me and i must have a brain disease or something to give this all up and to right because that's the epitome of success for the average joe exactly and so then it's hard to explain that to someone who they cannot imagine that there's success beyond material um accolades and rankings and stuff like that it's very hard to imagine that you know unless you unless you actually get there well and that would be my next point you know you have to first have it to give something up right like you cannot give up dreaming and i will not encourage anybody to give up dreaming not at all like people should dream of what their highest desire for success is right and yes all material like they can desire i don't know like be a ceo of apple for like here yeah it's like or be somebody like elon musk it's it doesn't matter it's like whatever their dream is they should have it and then they should pursue it but remember what i also said you have to be willing to give your best for it okay okay but then you cannot be attached because then once you have it then you are ready to let it go what do you mean give your best for it like 100 like not holding back like not having one eye on the prize and the other eye or no what does you know my neighbor think about me or yeah well you know really i want children and now i'm doing this if you're a woman or a man also sorry sorry sorry i forgot you know well there's the these times there's the pregnant man emoji now so yeah so i just realized that so i apologize and seriously i'm not sarcastic i yeah either i'm raising awareness about it yes or if not pregnant i mean there are many families that has have two dads so yeah either way like yeah you want a child but then you are also you want that success in your career and that's not giving it a hundred percent because you know i mean the way we're built we can only do one thing at a time and everybody who thinks they can multitask they fool themselves you can give 100 to one thing at a time only and so this then you have to be ready to decide what it is that you want so giving your best means you cannot be going in two different directions no you cannot because i mean if you look at the cosmic pixels you know i'm just looking at it so it comes easy or terrible there's an archetype that's called the chariot and so this is like as the name says a chariot and it's pulled by two sphinxes and they have to go in one direction for the chariot to move or to move you know smoothly if the one sphinx pulls to the right and the other one pulls to the left then there is no movement then there is only stock and you know and not your best yeah it's great so that was a very successful thing for you to do though because it was like you had already reached the top and then in that world but it wasn't your personal top mm-hmm yeah you had you had you had to go higher so that's like a true success yes not selling out like saying like oh my god like what i'm doing here is unethical to myself but i keep it because it seems like it's successful but really i feel like my success is elsewhere yeah so oh my god i'm gonna do something really crazy now yeah and i give it all up and i start over and when i give it all up i mean even like the money that i had because i can already hear you saying wow it's easy if you really made that much money you probably had a lot of money you know i gave it all back i gave that to my parents uh thanking them to bring me up in the way they did and yeah that's nice and i gave this all back to them and i think i came to the states with like twenty thousand dollars or something and you may think oh that's still a lot of money but my great great grandfather came to the states with 14 cents in his pocket well we need to see what the conversion rate yeah fact is i drove a really really old car i don't even know how old it was like many decades old it was one of these big boats and i bought it for six hundred dollars and it had no air conditioning it had like nothing but this all i could afford on my 20 000 budget i have to hold on to uh what i'm thinking about when you're talking because like i get so mesmerized by what you're saying that i forgot what i wanted to say sometimes well we were talking about true success and yes even though on the outside this may have looked like a total regression in terms of being successful it's like you said it was like starting the next level and it is always when you break through a ceiling or you know you reach a plateau and then you move on higher from that like in another archetype like the hermit archetype and so then it seems like you start over from nothing but it's really not true because how we say like today's low is higher than yesterday's high and so once again true success then is for everybody or should be for everybody very personal and have your success measured by how many followers you have or how much money you made okay i'm just gonna cut in there really quick because now i remembered but it's like um you talk about dreamers you know and you talked about like how we should always pursue our dreams and i think it's interesting because i am often like differentiating between 11th house astrology and 12th house astrology 11th houses wishes and 12th houses dreams and it's and i think it's fascinating for me because what you're saying is a perfect example because to what i'm about to say because i think a wish is like something that you really are conscious about what you want and the dream is something like you could have never imagined it like it's so much better than it was because you're saying all these things that happened since you moved to the states but you're not telling us and i'm not saying you have to please you know don't but or do if you want to but it was like all these things happened that you would have never dreamt of before but you just knew that you needed to do that and maybe you had that wish to just generically like make a change and not do that anymore but i think that like we have wishes but then there's also like we have dreams but then there are dreams that we don't even know that are there waiting for us that's like just so good for us oh i think you're talking about the unimaginable life and then of course you know that's true but how do you dream for that girl yeah wow that if you live the unimaginable life then this is true success and um well i mean of course again i that's great wait that's amazing i hear our listeners already say very very loud yeah well i never imagined that i ended up without a job or you know having god forbid covey right so uh this i would really say without knowing you guys that this is not true you imagine that in many many ways by what we call on um being afraid of the other shoe to drop like which means you know we're imagining many bad outcomes every day when we engage in a worry or in a fear or you know and stuff like that so no these things are imagined they are not the unimaginable life the unimaginable life is something that is so beautiful like more beautiful that you could have ever allowed yourself to dream of and the unimaginable life is a fruit of your success and you only come there by continuously improving yourself so you can't like say oh you know i want to live the unimaginable life and then like you know live it well you can't say you want that and you can you know send out this wish uh for everybody who matters to hear and then we say oh you got hear that here this person over there just wished for the unimaginable life okay so let's set it up for that person to reach it and guess what that could mean could also mean that you lose your job first well intense there are many many things that have to be cleared out yeah before we can experience true success i mean i'm blonde this is like i don't even know how many minutes we're in here but this is like blowing because i mean that's really intense because that i think is what it's really about is like living the unimaginable life or unimagined life as you as you think i don't know but it's like that that to me sounds like life because we come in to this world like with so many concepts and uh comma and it's so much everyone's just on like concepts but so many like patterns and stuff and then we we kind of operate within that like i want to do this and i want to do that like say like you grow up in india and you say i want to be an amazing chef but all you know is indian food and you don't know like japanese food or mexican food or i don't know french cuisine or something you know it's like you could not imagine that but if you just want to be a good chef then i don't know just takes you on this amazing journey and i think that's totally amazing and i feel like i personally myself do live that unimagined life dinner all because like i've cleared a lot of stuff out just i would not imagine and even when i tell people some of my story they don't believe everything i'm saying or they cannot imagine something like that happening with somebody and uh i feel like you just never know where you're gonna go next and um i think it can be very difficult sometimes for the people in your life who have to kind of adjust to that because maybe they are not necessarily like living the unimagined life but then you are so i think it's but what you say like you don't know what's going to happen no you don't it's i mean that's why i said they start like with success you know you have to give it a hundred percent you have to be ready to give up everything else and if like you know god forbid it could happen that your families wants to stand in your way be in a bucket of crabs how you call it you're holding your back then you have to be ready to let them go that's just then part of your uh path to success yeah that's not easy no because not only i don't know but i never said it was easy i mean you asked me what is true success yes yes i mean two things two things to that i mean the first part is um if it's the unimagined life then who's imagining it and second uh letting go of your family and i speak from experience on that is like it's very difficult um for two reasons because the first reason is you have to let go of the like physical i guess connection or like just the relationship connection but then you also have to let go of the emotional or like the the the claws or the the the wounds that the clots have made so there's there's that's that's a lot of work and to be successful with that is a lot of work and i think it's interesting because the fact is is that whether you do it before or after so-called material success you have to do it yeah you have to you i mean you know do they do the inner work yes you either do it before and have less symptoms and more material success or you do it after and have like some material success and more symptoms yeah either way like back to your question like if you're not imagining it who does yeah like i could have never imagined to be with someone like you never mind imagining being with you like there was absolutely no way that i could have imagined that however what i could imagine or what i wanted you know like what i dreamt about what i wished for was just that you know i wanted to meet my soul mate and that i prayed that i would recognize him when he stands in front of me you you you've talked about that before uh i don't know if we've ever talked about it in front of a microphone but uh you can elaborate a little bit on that like you had that wish yes i had that wish after i you know left my corporate career behind i had and it sounds like so you know difficult hollywood movie but it really was true i had time for a relationship like to really dedicate myself also to a relationship which i didn't have while i was in corporate world i wasn't i was traveling 10 months out of the year i spent my life as romantic as it sounds mostly on airports and you know in like corporate hotels so that you have like a seeming feeling of being at home because they all look the same and so there was no room for a relationship [Music] so but then part of my next step was having room for that because in many ways my life has become more simple and so i could do that and then i had to be open to receive what was ready for me to be experienced i mean you're basically saying that having a a soulmate relationship is as much work as one of the most high-powered corporate jobs that uh anybody in the world could have that's exactly what i say and i know it sounds very unromantic but i think it's romantic but it's also true it is a 24 7 job with many many difficult tasks to master because you know becoming one is not easy yeah and i think that that's why the only way it works is if the the well i just talk about us but like the the the reason why it works is because we have a common goal also like we have a shared wish slash dream slash vision slash unimagined life that we're sharing together yeah that's because i just said you know like becoming one so and if you're one you cannot have two different goals i mean i know this sounds uh very nice yeah like with the cherry like with the scenes yeah exactly and that also sounds so what's the right word like um either discouraging or arrogant you know to say such a thing like that but i mean imagine it and i'm not saying that there are different levels of soulmates and all of that like we know that but just talking about yours i'm just talking about this really high level of soul mate where you really really become one so you cannot then have one eye on this price and the other eye on that so it's like a given that you have the same goal it sounds like success again because you said you cannot be looking you can't be in in like in these opposing minds these or just very like these two minds or three minds or form i would have jesus however many minds someone can have about something but uh it's about really being focused but then also following through with it i think is also really important and i think in today's age where it's just so damn easy to forget you know throughout the day forgetting forgetting and forgetting and forgetting and i think that's also like very difficult to be what's called like what you have always taught in all of your classes and workshops while you were doing them is about and actually i think that's maybe just for me like the the number one thing that you ever taught me in my whole life really all the lessons everything personal and formal professional public and private is yes uh about presence about being present yes and i think that just tying that in with success and this is like getting really you know all over the place and intense and deep but i think it's just with success you have to really be honest and present and open yes because then that's what takes you to that unimaginable life which includes relationships uh profession um family livelihood um like wealth fulfillment happiness joy relationships like in terms of friendships and attract because yeah there are different levels of soul mates you know their soul mates in business yes you know their soul mates on so many different levels so it's about that shared um [Music] wish yeah that you're talking about and so that's yeah so thank you yeah i'm i totally agree that you're also the unimagined uh life for me i i mean i knew it when i saw it but like before that i mean yeah it was like not like you know i put you on a vision board i mean you know i i just knew i had to come here and fulfill mission and um i had to get through my horrible or my blessed however you look at it uh upbringing and um [Music] yeah i totally agree and like everything that we've done has really been unimagined and i have to say like exactly you said good and also bad yes and i don't even want to say bad but like just scary scary yeah you know so it's it's it's really like you say it's you cannot have the idea of good and bad just put it that way because it's all good but i mean for the ego that has attachments or fears or likes comfort zones or wants to not change that's it's not easy that's right but how our ex best friend says you know not everything bad is there to hurt you that's right yeah that's that's something that really i think about all the time because i'm a walking testimony for that yeah yeah so is he with all his successes he's a very very successful man you know you look at his past it was not easy no no not at all but it all makes us who we are and that's the other thing that i wanted to say what is a sign of true success is that you know what you then have succeeded in you will not lose it so for example would i have accumulated in knowledge and maybe a little bit of wisdom and techniques and methods and stuff like that in my corporate life i can use all of that yeah there is was nothing superfluous that's not serving me now in one capacity or the other i mean first of all well you know i mean you know we're running our own business like our own company and so all of that you know like that business aspect you know somebody has to learn it you know you have to go to university for that yeah i mean it's just like it would go too far to go into detail about all that of course that future episodes do but i just want to mention like one thing that is because i also think it's very very relevant to take the corner into a real success like i had um let's just call it management training and it was japanese and so one of the things we had to do was call you know embarrass yourself daily and we had to really come up with like scenarios that for the ordinary person are unimaginable that you would put yourself into a situation like that and um this serves me still so well because you know having to do that really showed me you know the world does not stop if something happens that is weird for a moment or awkward worse you know the world moves on and people will not remember it's like i'm not that important even though i'm important you know and i was actually important but you know i'm not that important because everybody has their own lives and whatever happens in everybody's personal life is in the long run more important to them than something they saw that happened yeah or i mean seriously on a daily basis how often do you think about um like wardrobe slips that you have read about on tmz 10 years ago right exactly nice yeah exactly it's like you really don't and so when this is like really good advice like to not be afraid to embarrass yourself because this is the only way how you can really see who you are then to know that whatever you learn on your way to success if it's true success you will keep it and take it to your next level yeah like in a video game you know i mean you beat the boss at one level and you got like so many tokens of this and that you take them to the next level that's really amazing because um i've i've um i think i totally do that with my astrology because i i love technology and i'm also professionally trained in like technology and i you know just i have a natural thing for technology and i've talked about it in here before but i totally took those skills and everything i know about technology and apply it into uh astrology yeah oh it's really like everything like spirituality everything and i mean i used and i used to even do it the other way around when i was like when i help people with their uh technological issues and i'm so sorry if i've ever helped you and i'm saying this but it's it's true because you know the the issues reflect what's going on in your life so it's like i would apply my spiritual training into my my consulting process yeah and like in my technology training in my new consulting practices so it's this uh energy that you're like you definitely you take it with you if you're successful with it yes and i think then that's how you train yourself and you learn and you level up yes so everyone should think about that and yes embarrass yourself so important it's so important because also i think don't hold me to it but i'm pretty almost 100 sure that embarrassment is um the like it runs up the spine on the back of the spine the energy of embarrassment runs up the back of the spine because i think shame is on the front of the body and then embarrassments on the back of the body huh and yeah i think that's the way it is because shame is about like you know you're you have shame about yourself it's your like because the front of your body is like the conscious the conscious brain you know like you're aware like you have shame about yourself you know and like from adam and eve like it's the shame like uh we see each other's you know we're naked oh my god you know this is the shame like this exposure but embarrassment is like you're unconscious of it but um it's kind of like you're embarrassed for something like you feel someone's looking at you like you're not aware of it it's like yeah you have like this feeling you have something yeah you don't necessarily feel ashamed because you're not aware of it but it's like this energy of embarrassment that's like over your head yeah yeah yeah yeah like everybody knows is in the know but you are not and yeah so you're doing something that like oh my god i'm so embarrassed like like with your japanese training yeah you know that you're talking about like oh my god i sat and poop or i sat in a chocolate ice cream and now i'm walking around and everyone's laughing at me and i don't know why and yeah yeah you know it's like you're being embarrassed yeah but you're not conscious of it but it's a you know it's embarrassing yeah and then the embarrassment turns into shame because you become conscious of it and then but it's really coming from shame because you don't have a strong enough ego to say oh yeah like that happened and that happened yeah that's right the world goes on yeah and then it just stays in embarrassment and then it's like then you can laugh at yourself and then you're not embarrassed that's right then you own up to it and say well you know maybe there even is something that i can learn from that situation you know yeah there really was something um you know that i can do better next time i can talk about it with others and then next year i'm recording a podcast to help others yeah he that actually happened to me one chocolate ice cream or poop it was um chocolate pralines like i was flying to l.a of course this happened too i mean how could i this is unimaginable yeah and you know how it like is or it was in the past i mean i haven't been flying in such a long time i have no idea how but at that time and and as i said like i was traveling 10 months out of the year so obviously i had a ton of frequent flyers so yeah i could easily fly first class and there it is like um before the lights go out like you get like these chocolates good success good success nothing to be embarrassed about that's right because everyone's looking at you that's right so either way at that time i think i was the only person in first class so in what that means like they have a certain contingency of food and they have to like get rid of it right because if you fly to l.a i don't know where

it's in other places but you know you cannot disembark food like it will then be thrown out so like that flight attendants like they were showering with all kinds of food and so like they had like this whole assortment of prolines and i really wasn't stuffed i couldn't eat anything anymore just how you eat it later and like she puts it you know on my little side table and then go like okay whatever and so there must have been some turbulence because when i woke up the chocolate was gone but i went to the bathroom and i went like what the hell is on my hands my hands were all like messy my skirt was messy everything was messy i go to the seat the seat was totally messy so it was dark chocolate so imagine that it must have fallen and i laid on it and melted it and now you have the end of the story guess what that looked like hershey's kisses exactly oh my god well i embarrassed myself daily do you think i cared i still had to stand in line and disembark and go through immigration everybody was looking yeah so okay yeah tommy roll out of here wherever you're flying from nice oh i hope you enjoyed that story it was amazing i think it's totally great to embarrass yourself because it on one hand makes your ego strong but small yes and i think this is awesome because you need a strong ego but that you can control and that's true success beautiful thank you so much this has been eric and aurelia and you've just listened to an episode of ages we hope you like it please share your feedback and share this with anyone in your reality who you think needs to listen to it thank you guys see you next time bye [Music]
