vivo log, Apple log, vivo log, which picture is cooler? If it's still not clear, then let's try to swap them... Apple Magic!!! Hello, comrade, you're on the Mark Victorson channel. With me, you'll look at China and learn about smartphones. I talk about China mainly on my Telegram channel Mark Victorson Originals, you can follow the link in the description and have a great time chatting with comrades in the comments, and in this video, you and I will pit Vivo X200 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro head-to-head to demythologize a very popular misconception that iPhones are still the unrivaled kings of video shooting. In fact, iPhones have several very important aspects, due to which iPhones are still considered the kings of video shooting. In fact, if we are talking about

quality, then as soon as MotionCam appeared on Androids, which shoots RAW video from sensors, as soon as Android smartphones had larger sensors than on the iPhone, the point in this conversation was already put, but in this video we will compare logarithmic video, because it is much easier to process. In fact, there are very few problems with it, I will demonstrate in this video how to easily and quickly color any logarithmic video in Davinci Resolve, because there are several secrets, if you do it incorrectly, you can ruin everything very much and it will be, in general, ugly. So, before we find out what a logarithm is, why it is needed, and how to paint it correctly, I need to make two small announcements - firstly, I am engaged in deliveries from China, so if you like what I do, if you want to support my YouTube channel and me personally, you can place orders in my store - and I can supply not only phones and laptops for personal use, but also goods for business - we will buy anything from any Chinese sites, factories, plants, from any marketplaces, and deliver it not only to Russia but even to Europe and the CIS, and, including, to Ukraine - so you are welcome to visit us. And the second announcement is that I have launched my own VPN, which will work not only in smartphones, laptops and computers, but even in routers, which will allow you to tunnel the entire home network, which will allow you to watch YouTube videos on Smart TV in good quality. Therefore, if you wanted to watch

YouTube videos not on phones with VPN, but on TVs, you can buy my VPN using the link in the description - all the information is available. At the moment, the profile is not ready for routers yet, and I shot this video in May. In June-July, we will release a full-fledged profile that can be built into routers, primarily ASUS, but for some other router models, this can also, in principle, be implemented. Such are the technologies. Well, in order for the comparison to be as adequate and complete as possible, we will test several different video shooting scenarios at once, because not everyone shoots themselves in logarithm from a tripod. Many simply shoot either themselves or what surrounds them

on a smartphone without any additional equipment, and this is a really popular scenario. Let's see how well Vivo can show itself in such banal things simply in auto mode. This is me now filming myself on the X200 Ultra ultra-wide lens against the iPhone 16 Pro, I have it here, by the way, I'll show you my studio now, while we'll turn off the lights - this is, so I have a GODOX flashlight here, it costs around 100 yuan, inexpensive, this is what I have , to shine on the curtains from behind - to give such a beautiful volume - a 40-watt Zhiyun Fiveray, another one gives me a glare on my cheek, we'll turn it off too, this is how I have to turn it all on and off manually. We'll now film the second half of this showroom on an iPhone, in 4K60 simply in the usual video auto mode. So, this is what we have 23 mm iPhone,

we turn off the sticks from Godox, which fill the background with blue. This is my main light, 23 mm on the iPhone, of course not as wide as 14 on the Vivo. This is how dull my studio is without lighting. Let's go outside and I'll show you now where we'll go to shoot the main body of this test. Here we have the base, super-wide, 2X - such a pleasant switching with acceleration and deceleration, well, pay attention to this moment - oh, it's fine now, but it still twitches on 5x. It twitches on the ultra-wide, it's normal, but on 5x it twitches. Now let's look at vivo,

85 mm, 35 mm, 85, 35, it also twitches, but from time to time it gets better and worse. It twitches! Look - it's better now, is it learning or something? Or what... now on the ultra-wide, 85, ultra-wide, base, ultra-wide, base, in principle, it's quite smooth, and especially - switching to the telephoto lens. It's sometimes smooth, sometimes not smooth, I don't know what it's connected with, but in general it's normal.

We're heading to this park. By the way, I found a way to shoot on the Vivo X200 Ultra at 23 mm without crops! Do you know how? On the front camera! Here, just like on any other smartphone, install a 23 mm optics on the front camera. Few people talk about this, but in fact, the X200 Ultra has 23mm optics, without cropping you can easily shoot with it and get good quality during the day! At night, of course, we have already seen that the result is so-so. Let's compare daytime shooting with the iPhone - it is believed that iPhones have one of the best front cameras in the industry, and for good reason, because look at the dynamic range - it seems, yes, look - on the VivaSic my face is dark, and the sky is without any shades of blue, and on the iPhone the sky is blue and my face is light ... very good, it seems,

dynamic range, right? Now let's look at the color rendition as a whole. On the iPhone, of course, I am some kind of pink-carrot as always ... They don't study at Apple, from generation to generation it's the same, but on the VivaSic some kind of yellow hepatitis face is also not the ultimate dream. However, the field of view on the iPhone is wider than on the Vivo, because on the Vivo, stabilization eats up more fields than on the iPhone - and now look... when we don't point the smartphone at the sky, look at my shoulders, what does the iPhone do? It knocks out my shoulders! We just pointed it at the sky, right? And it somehow turns on dynamic HDR, but on the Vivo, nothing changes - my shoulders are not knocked out, some completely amazing curiosities. let's walk a little bit to look at the stabilization,

here we have an iPhone, here we have a Vivo, in general, of course, you could put a better front camera in the Vivo, but if you shoot against the light, in principle, the face comes out a normal, decent color, in general, of course, you can generally give preference to the picture from the iPhone, yes, in general, but the Vivo is not much inferior here, it seems, let's switch to the main cameras, well, let's take another look at this effect just in case, because it seemed too curious to me, let's focus on this, look at the sky behind my head, it appears and then disappears, I don't understand how they came to the conclusion that it should be implemented exactly like this, but now, having seen how it appears and disappears, I can't unsee it, that's how my shoulders are normal, but they're knocked out like this. Look at my shoulders, everything is just knocked out, there is no information here, it's just a white area, but that's how information appears on my shoulders, okay, if only the sky disappeared, but information disappears from my shoulders, on my the cap also has some unsightly highlights and it seems like this is where we need an extended dynamic range but no I don't deserve a dynamic range and the sky deserves Apple now let's look at the ultra-wides this means 14 mm with the Vivo X200 Ultra and this is 13 mm with the iPhone 16 Pro once again 14 mm with the Vivo is a much narrower frame than 13 with the iPhone not least because the iPhone has more effective stabilization but 13 mm is much wider than 14 however look on the iPhone we can go to the settings and turn off the improved stabilization which will expand the field of view a little more and now on the iPhone the field of view is really much wider than on the Vivo but we can make the stabilization weaker on the Vivo and therefore 14 mm with the Vivo can match 13 mm with the iPhone almost one to one look here is this board on the left yes on the iPhone and the bridge on the right and on the vivasik it's almost identical now this difference in the field of view is not so striking very cool now let's walk a little bit like this let's look at the colors in general until people appear in the frame in principle they are very similar in colors normal colors of the sky normal colors of greenery let's look at the sunset look at what a beautiful sunset sun through the trees now I'll show you my skin on the iPhone spoiler it is it will look a little better zoom with you now to the same field of view here we have 1x on the iPhone and to get the same field of view on the Vivasik zoom to 23 mm we look at 23 mm on the iPhone 23 mm on the Vivasik is approximately the same field of view that we have in terms of quality in terms of quality of course on the iPhone is a little better but now we will start zooming further and we will see the same lag after 23 mm on the iPhone as on the OP in my previous video here we have 1.5x from the iPhone zoom to 35 mm on the Vivasik the field of view is approximately the same yes on the Vivasik the picture is much cleaner than on the iPhone you can also look here so that it is also better visible the field of view is approximately the same yes 1.5x on the iPhone 35 mm on the Vivasik now we look at the sunset again let's 2x on the iPhone and we will have approximately 45 mm on the Vivasik quality how do you like it from the iPhone from the king of video shooting let's look here in the corner on the bricks it should be clear that the Vivasik suppresses noise a lot this is of course not cool I already wrote to tech support so that they made the noise suppressor weaker because such an aggressive noise suppressor is of course not cool let's look with you 85 mm on the Vivasik and the zoom there on the iPhone it will be approximately how much approximately 4x yes 3.7x let's well do 4x like this and who is the king now okay good for the iPhone this is digital zoom but the iPhone loses a lot in range yes because after 1x we immediately go to 5x let's look at the sunset leaves look how clear our nabivasiks are okay good we won't mock we make 5x on the iPhone now the quality has become much better and the zoom with you up to about 120 mm on the Vivasik too and how do you like the picture now like the sunset let's look somewhere else again let's look at this most wonderful red tinsel red color has always been very difficult for smartphones look how beautifully it all works for us iPhone and how beautifully it works for us Vivasik so we have such a telephoto lens on Vivasik let's zoom back 14 mm 85 14 85 now on the iPhone 1x super wide 5X super wide 5X well and now let's look at the vlog let's start with the super wide iPhone here 13 mm I remind you with weakened stabilization the only thing I've always found fault with on iPhones is the strange skin colors and unfortunately in this particular situation the skin colors on the iPhone are better than on Vivasik I don't know why this is but now you will see everything for yourself in general mustard skin colors are the threshold of Vivo I don't like Vivo for this so I mostly shoot myself in pro mode with noise reduction turned off but do we have a comparison of the full auto mode I show that in this auto mode by colors Vivo skin is losing to iPhone as strange as it may sound always shit iPhone for colors and in this case it is even worse but just on iPhone to get cooler colors you always need to bother with logarithm which we will talk about a little later and on Vivaysiki it is enough to simply switch to pro mode and manually set the white balance slightly lower the exposure and there will be a normal skin color that is, you can set normal skin colors directly in the camera in Vivo and on iPhone only with post-processing that's how here we come wonderful behavior of fruit from the Kupetino grove when androids lag everything without even thinking about buying this shit throw it away but when iPhone behaves like this it is wonderful what are you a sacred bug that's what we have in general Paralympics we start shooting this is our super-wide Vivo X200 Ultra and this is the super-wide iPhone 16 Pro of course 13 mm wider than 14 but this is the advantage of the iPhone they are ending and another interesting point look closely at the grass at the bottom of the frame especially in the corner when I walk it is mush as soon as I stop walking moving suddenly the picture becomes sharper I start moving again mush everything is a sharp picture but this is Vivo look you move stand everything is clean sharp no artifacts look again especially in the corners on the iPhone this is exactly the same algorithm that stitches the frames so that the picture turns out smoother and on the ultra-wide especially here is the bark there is little lighting this effect is very visible especially on the grass let's walk a little look at this fuel truck here I caught another interesting bug now I will show you how wonderfully the iPhone 16 Pro behaves we are trying to zoom and the telephoto lens does not turn on why do we need a telephoto lens you do not buy an iPhone to shoot at night with a telephoto lens to whom in general this should be shot at night on a telephoto lens if we catch a certain angle it will start to shake it can't decide whether to turn on or not is there enough light here or not look it can't decide whether to turn on or not it's funny well let's not talk about the bad let's look at 2x now and look at 35 mm somewhere on the Vivas that's how the advantage of the Vivas is visible yes over the iPhone and if we call it back to 1x on the iPhone and about 23 mm on the Vivas then the Vivas will start to lose focus that's also you have to help it with the focus button that's how so it doesn't lose focus left to right we look back and forth it's lost focus again come on buddy get focus that's the kind of jokes you can't rely on either at night either let's look into the distance now this wonderful arch since it's almost 11:00 at night I can stand right in the middle of the road like that zoom on the iPhone 15x that's for you right away and the zoom on the Vivas is 230 mm - this is 10x and let's look like this somewhere 360 mm yes it's hard to say which of them is definitely better here but there is definitely more noise in the picture from the iPhone somehow well and the final touch in this Paralympics of night auto modes we shoot like this on the front camera the quality is of course a little higher on the iPhone and the colors are a little better the detail is a little higher here of course Vivas is completely merged look what a flat face on the Vivas is an absolute bottom from the iPhone a more or less even decent picture oh oh that's it's time to go home despite the importance of having a decent auto mode in any adequate camera phone that you can always rely on for example not understand we own an Xper because for them the auto mode is a joke it's a joke added to the Experiment since any normal photos or videos on the Experiment can only be taken in the pro mode so on normal camera phones this the most pro-mode is not a luxury that is here to compensate for the curvature of the auto mode but a tool for achieving creative tasks specific creative tasks right now I am shooting in this studio with a low key and if I shoot in auto mode then it overexposes everything: "But I need a low key and I can set the shutter speed on the vivasik to a multiple of the flickering frequency of my lamp since here in China, like in Russia, the frequency of alternating networks is 50 Hz" I set the shutter speed to 1 and there is no flickering but on the iPhone I can't do this I can't specify the shutter speed in numerical values all I can do is tap like this with my finger on the screen and pull down so that the picture is darker and that's it and of course if a person is not at all bothered by life this is enough but just in such situations when you shoot with artificial light especially yourself from a tripod somewhere in the studio this very manual mode is not a luxury but a necessity - it is a tool necessary for achieving creative tasks the only way to iPhone shooting with manual settings is to download a third-party camera app in the case of Vivasik everything can be done directly in the native camera app without the need to download anything and just in case I turned off spatial sound on the iPhone because as far as I understand spatial sound is bad in general it records voice I switched to serial and turned off just in case also shumadav I hope that this improved the quality of voice recording during video shooting so let's see what the iPhone can do in logarithm and this is what Apple log looks like shot through the Black Magic camera on the iPhone 16 Pro without painting and gray it is not just like that the thing is that when we record a picture in a contrast profile it contains a lot of information in midtones but at the same time the information in the shadows and in the light areas of the frame is extinguished thus creating a contrast but when we shoot in logarithm we record a lot of information both in the shadows and in areas of the frame with high brightness and of course information is recorded in areas of the frame with midtones and we ourselves can decide on post what contrast do we want to get, that is, throwing in, for example, like this, a conversion to contrast, we get this picture now we adjust the brightness now we adjust the white balance and make the picture a little sharper this is the picture we get in the video after all the conversions how this is done I will show at the very end of the video and here we have Vivvas just in case the case is forced to make a small but very important comment here I just now realized that it is me from my height as a videographer talking about logarithms and so on and so forth but the absolute majority of people in the absolute majority of cases do not need a logarithm and I do not always need it I only shoot videos for YouTube and the joke is that just when you just need to get a different brightness and a different color there is a manual mode in which you do not have to understand the kelvins of the vis exposures you can just by eye move this exposure slider so brighter darker warmer colder redder green got the necessary color got the necessary brightness and that's it you shoot yourself immediately ready for cutting and gluing material without the need to pick through this material on the post it is very important to understand because I just now realized that the iPhone just does not give this option there either you shoot in full auto and do not yelp or you climb into third-party applications master the logarithm professional painting editing and all this is to realize this is very important on the iPhone or car or you completely bother and on Android smartphones there is an opportunity to get the necessary color without the need for painting directly in the camera this is very cool but Vivo goes one step further of course and Sony and Huawei also allow you to apply to video in 4K60 even Sony can use color profiles but on Vivo in portrait video mode you can apply color profiles separately to a person and the environment and moreover you can change the depth of application of these same profiles again to the environment and to a person which will allow you to get the necessary colors the necessary atmosphere with even greater variability again without the need to pick through all this in the post I set the necessary colors directly on the smartphone screen removed glued done this is very cool iPhone unfortunately does not offer this but it would be great and now we return back to our logarithms it turns out a gray profile we throw in a conversion a little adjust the brightness adjust the white balance and make the picture a little less sharp and after all these manipulations look here this is from an iPhone, this is our picture, so Sviva, you don’t need to be an expert to understand that Sviva’s picture is cooler and yes of course I understand that this is 35 mm but the iPhone is a little closer to me so that the field of view is approximately the same so that I am approximately the same size and of course there is no distortion because at such a distance when I am in the center of the frame there will be no distortion at 23 mm or 35 but this is how a picture taken with a normal camera with a normal lens will look and not on a smartphone and for those who want to write to me in the comments like what are you talking about some fictitious advantage of Vivas over the iPhone it was clear that the colors are almost the same so the fact that I managed to get almost the same skin colors on both Vas and the iPhone is more due to my hands than to any of these smartphones moreover at the very end of the video when I show how to paint all this you will see that it will be more difficult to get such colors from an iPhone because I actually adjusted the colors from the iPhone to the colors of the Sviva I liked the colors of the Sviva more and in general again looking ahead I will say that when you paint the logarithm the result will depend more on how well your screen conveys colors, that is, how well it is calibrated, firstly, and secondly, on how good an idea you have of skin color in your head because when you turn all these sliders you will turn them by eye if you do not have a good idea in your head of what color you should end up with, you will end up with nonsense well and now let's just look at a few technical examples just in case and then we will move on to how to properly paint all the scenes that you will see now I did not correct them in any way they were filmed in full auto mode and transferred to a contrast profile with one node in principle in scenes filmed during the day no difference is particularly visible here in principle sometimes you can find fault with the fact that the white balance is a little different but all this is easily corrected you can also see that on Vivasee the picture is a little sharper but all this is in principle not so important here we are already filming the light a little less the difference in detail already begins to seem more or less obvious but it is still more or less sufficient lighting as soon as we look at scenes shot where there is very little light here the iPhone is already falling apart on the pixel you can see that instead of detail on the iPhone it is just a mess in scenes shot with good contrast light in principle on the Vivayse the picture is much clearer than on the iPhone you will see it yourself now from the iPhone the picture is a little oily some kind of too soft in general it is already clear that the picture from the Vivayse is simply sharper clearer although in terms of dynamic range in principle if you do not pull everything looks normal but here on the ultra-wide from the Vivayse the picture is much clearer look at the mess from the iPhone it is just awful the NaviVayse picture is both clearer and more detailed and at the same time the stabilization is better just look how it kolashmaniruetsya the picture from the iPhone and this is the same vaunted effective stabilization well yes of course from the point of view of pure mathematics it is more effective because less it cuts off the edges but from the point of view of the final result, the fact that the picture from the iPhone is a mess is far from a plus, plus, look, it is sometimes darker, sometimes lighter, the exposure is constantly a mess because the dynamic range on the Vivasee is simply cooler, now we look at the scene where 35 mm from the Vassa versus 23 from the iPhone, you can see that for such subject photography, 35 mm is still cooler because the corona scene is denser, this looks better on the subject, plus the shadows are black on the iPhone, we bet now on another scene, this is 35 mm of the Vivasee versus Soroche on the iPhone, this is 2X from the iPhone, again, you can see that on the iPhone the picture is a little bit red or pink or something and the window is knocked out, look, I didn’t do anything, it was just shot in full auto mode, now another scene is natural lighting indoors, again, a small difference in white balance is visible, but this is all corrected, but a big difference in bokeh is visible look what a beautiful bokeh we have on Vivas and how little of it there is on the iPhone we have another backlight scene here in principle we could say that on Vivas the picture is a little bit knocked out but that's not the case I'll show you a little later we'll try to pull this scene and look how much our contrast drops if you shine directly against the light on Vivas and on the iPhone we have a glare I don't know which is worse personally it seems to me that you can still work with the picture from Vivas but this glare on the iPhone it will often be inappropriate than appropriate especially since it is somehow uneven crooked now look at the pictures taken in Lulight specifically this is just a specific trash on Vivas something else can be done with this image and on the iPhone it's just a soapy mess the stabilization on the iPhone is also not the coolest in general of course Vivas gives more space for processing once again don't pay attention to the color it's all easily corrected we are now paying attention exclusively to the potential of the scene and with You can't do anything with the iPhone here , it's just garbage. Now look at the Vivasa perfectionist against the iPhone base.

The situation is a little better on the iPhone, but still, you can't really get anything out of the iPhone here. I 'll show you a little later that you can still get something out of the Vivasa here. In principle, you can now look at the 85 mm Vivasa telephoto lenses with standard stabilization against the 120 mm 125 from the iPhone. You can see that the field of view is about the same and the picture from the iPhone is just a field of noise. You can't really do anything about it. Of course, the picture is a little darker on the Vivasa, but at the same time it's more detailed and you can do something with it. You can get something out of it here. And on the iPhone, there's just noise. It's just garbage. On the iPhone,

in such conditions, you simply won't shoot another scene. It's a little darker. The Vivasa perfectionist against the iPhone superwide. Here, on the iPhone, you can't see anything at all. It's just garbage. Of course, you can argue that there's some noise on the Vivasa, but these noise can be easily suppressed but from the blackness on the iPhone you can hardly pull anything out the iPhone simply didn't catch the details that could have been pulled out somehow in the post it's just a fail everything now we look at scenes shot at night completely outside well it's like night there 9:00 pm again on the Vivase you can see the noise but they can be suppressed but the iPhone didn't catch anything at all it suppressed everything and I'll show you again a little later that it's impossible to pull anything out of here the dynamic range on the iPhone and Vivase is basically very different because that Vivas allows you to pull something out of the noise and the iPhone drowned out all the noise, it kind of dampened it and because of that, everything is there, well, it's just the end, you can't pull anything out of this, look into the distance on Vivas, some textures are visible, on the iPhone, nothing is visible, everything is zero dynamic range, again , now we'll get into the editor and I'll show you that you can't erase anything else from here, not that it was a disaster, you generally need to shoot in good light, but Vastas will allow you to make a little mistake, and on the iPhone, you still have to work hard, well, it's time to sum it up, as the owner of the fourteenth and fifteenth Promax in the relatively recent past, I can't help but note that, given the general inferiority of iOS, I could wholeheartedly recommend iPhones as a means of video shooting to some people before this, because getting a consistently good picture from iPhones is easy thanks to the Black Magic Cam application, there you just select the HDR gamma curve and what is equivalent to HLG in fourteenth and older or Apple Log on fifteenth and newer everything is real except for this you don’t need to configure anything else you make one setting after that you select the resolution how many frames you need per second 24 30 60 120 and the camera module even in automatic exposure settings you shoot everything you have is stable beautifully painted it turns out very easy and considering that creative people usually don’t understand these technical nuances but they know how to tell a story from what angle to shoot and in what light they don’t need all these pixels at all this jerking off with settings and yes of course the entry point to the logarithm with Android smartphones is much lower because if on Apple this very logarithm appeared starting with the fifteenth it was literally there a year ago then on Android smartphones the logarithm has been available since 2017 with the release of the LG V30 yes of course there were small sensors from them you can’t really squeeze anything out but even then you could somehow creatively paint xeria starting in 2018 VXZ2 Premium also offers HLG which is now available on iPhones in the fourteenth and older and even to this day Sony offers HLG as a logarithm in the native camera application it is not the most aggressive but it can also be creatively painted somehow and now thanks to the fact that we have Vivo which starting with the X200 Pro straight out of the box without any suffering without the need to choose these combinations of gomuts and gamma curves offers us a chic logarithm with convenient settings and shoots all this business stably you do not need to think whether the application will crash with such settings you just choose the settings you need and shoot and creative people not only techies like me will really like it and now thanks to the fact that here the logarithm is not so cool it shoots cooler than the iPhone and is not much more complicated everything on this iPhone is not needed anymore of course you can still argue about the fact that the iPhone as a smartphone is more interesting because yes I will not argue with the fact that the screens of iPhones are calibrated on average better than Android smartphones the sound from iPhones have better speakers than most Androids, except probably for Honors and Huaweis, there the speakers are first-class, Honors and Huaweis are even better than iPhones, but at the same time, with iPhones in iOS, you will have to boil in the Apple system, and I personally don’t like it, despite the fact that I have a MacBook, an iPad, I use Apple technology, I like it in many ways, the camera button on iPhones is a little better than on Vivo, by the way, because it is pressed here, after all, physically, and on Vivo it is purely touch-sensitive, but on Vivo you can also use a half-press to lock the focus, it is convenient and on the iPhone you can do it and on Vivo you can do it, but for some reason OP didn’t think of this before, so if a person doesn’t need a smartphone, but first of all a video camera in his pocket, all this is uncontested, and what’s more, the difference in quality, you yourself saw how big the picture is on an iPhone, it’s just bold, it’s harder to paint, there is noise in the shadows, even during the day, damn, this is just some kind of nightmare, I didn’t expect that Apple can so strongly merge with some no-name from China, although Vivo is far from a no-name, but nevertheless, in principle, it was possible to put an end to this a long time ago, but through suffering , and now thanks to the fact that the logarithm here out of the box is cooler than on the pumped-up iPhone Black Magic camera double point I have that's all see you in the next video bye and finally a course for a young fighter on painting a logarithm filmed on whatever it is on a camera on a smartphone on an iPhone on Vas it doesn't matter I'm showing how it's done in Davin I assume that you can figure out without me how to create a project put files on a timeline so I'm showing the most important things and the order in which it's done so here I already have a timeline here I have files I've already divided left and right we'll do it like this in one screen so that it's all more obvious I go to painting via Shift 6 I don't like to poke around with the mouse in all these things so look we have to the left of Vivas to the right of the iPhone so the video first thing we need to do is create several nodes preferably about five for both the iPhone and Vivas we'll make five nodes how we transform and in which node we actually give this very contrast to the picture this is done for the iPhone via Color Space transform here in the effects here on the right effects we take color space transform and we throw it on the last node for iPhone this is done through color space transform we have color space rec20 and input gamma Apple log everything we gave contrast to the picture from iPhone great in some cases this is generally enough after that nothing else needs to be done with the picture in the case of Vivas we go to loot because for Vivas there is only loot so far and no transformation and we throw this loot that I have already installed on my computer on the last node that 's all the picture from Vivas is colored you can close this and on the right you can also close all this in this way we brought the picture from a wide color space to the color space for the REC 709 monitor and this is done in the last node all corrections are applied to the wide color space to the original data volume and in the very last node this already colored video is compressed to the screen color space so it works no need to convert first and then try to work with the compressed image it is done in this exact sequence first we work with a large amount of data then we compress it what we first do with the picture from Vivas so let's say in the first node I want to add brightness go here in primaries here in this one, that is, the tool in this tab and using offset exactly oset some other tool we give this brightness to the frame look at, that is, the tools here is this brightness I like okay ok we will give the name here expрность so in the second tab I will adjust the white balance like this we made it a little warmer using this tool tempo this is the easiest way of course you can through the wheels but now we are doing it in the easiest way like this we added a little warmth as for me it looks pretty good but at the same time look the picture of sviva is very noisy we want to denoise the picture of sviva in general according to fnshu denoising should be done in the very first node but on macs it just hangs the system so I denoise in the very last node since the picture is not the cleanest but at the same time Mag does not hang so I have a conversion in the fifth I denoise in the sixth go here in this tab here in my spatial noise reduction I choose Ultra NR press analyze you got this square and put it where we want to analyze the noise texture we immediately move the values here I know what parameters I want to get so I remove the luma to the very bottom to get grain you can 2.7 via Ctrl F we look and get in principle a nice grain you can even add a little to the chrome in principle that's it good now look at the picture from the iPhone in the picture from the iPhone it's too dark we 're in the first node let's call it p brightness yes let's go here add brightness add brightness a little lags because noise reduction takes up resources let's turn off noise reduction just in case yes so that everything works faster for us then you can turn it on at the very end here we added brightness to the picture from the iPhone and what do we see here let's turn back noise reduction from Vivas to see the pictures on the big screen and this is what it looks like this means this clip look what you can pull out of this picture on the iPhone yes nothing it's just garbage there is no potential here if you twist something else you can pull out then from the picture received on the iPhone you can’t pull out anything there are no details here of course you can try to do something there in good light but I’m showing the potential this is the maximum potential of Vivo in the most terrible conditions with Vivo you can pull out something but here is the picture that you get on the iPhone and now let’s look at a couple more scenes to roughly estimate what dynamic range you can pull out of Vivas and what dynamic range you can pull out of the iPhone in this scene the sun was shining directly into the camera we go to the very end of this very scene like this the sun is shining and directly into the iPhone and directly into Vivс we add a few notes here this is what we have Vivas means in the last node we throw loot like this this is what we have iPhone here we also make a couple of nodes color Space Transform we have R 2020 here we already know this and Apple Log there is a contrast remove unnecessary tabs and now we look specifically at this moment where the sun is shining directly into the camera what can be done we go to the first the node itself and we try to simply remove the highlights to zero on the iPhone and do the same for Vivas we take the first node and reduce the highlights to zero look at Vivas the picture is lighter and less sky is knocked out on the iPhone the picture is darker and look here this is even visible the texture of the matrix in the glare well this is just some kind of trash and here more is knocked out that is it is obvious that on the iPhone our scene potential is worse we cannot pull out what we can pull out on Vivas let's try to be a little creative here we can remove the highlights a little here and give a little contrast with the help of the elevator we will make an elevator like this and the midtones we will raise a little like this midtones that's all basically we figured out with Vivas now we do the same for the iPhone we remove this on the iPhone we pull the shadows down a little like this making midtones that is basically in principle if desired you can give some kind of creative look in this scene but purely from the technical potential of the scene nothing can be done here with this knocked out sky it can only be made even brighter and some hation can be thrown here so that it looks creative where I have Hation here like this we throw Hation and that's it the picture is like this like a movie look but this is nonsense because when we evaluate the potential of the camera we evaluate the potential of the camera and the iPhone obviously has less hation you can throw it on Vivvas like this and on Vivase it will also look cool look like this this glare is so red that is generally on anything you can throw it on Nokia 3310 like this look also at this scene where everything is completely dark here I also have Svivasa like the color is ugly yes I'm showing just the color literally in one movement we correct it add red and we have a normal color and what can be done with the iPhone on the iPhone we try to make the scene a little colder because it is too warm and we add a little bit of red and too much green just by eye again we don't do a lab test we just try to compare these pictures more or less zoom a little look what we get it means on Vivasee we have a sharp picture on the iPhone we have soap damn I'm making a correction in the last node again we need to transfer all this ctrl V Ctrl C remove Color Space Transform from here remove these corrections from here everything is fine just well the potential of the scene what can be done here look at the whole screen what can be done with a soapy picture you won't add details here colors collected more Vivas I don't know here either how how can we talk about the iPhone being the king of video shooting well let's add some more noise so that the picture from Vivasee doesn't look so noisy go here do ultra noise redaction analyze and since we don't have much noise in fact we can luma generally somewhere two chromes - these are just colored noises and look here is the finished picture here is a clean picture on the left textured and soap on the right here's what you can do with this soap, nothing , well, and also just not to make fun of, but to show this very scene, let's throw ShumaDav on Vivas in this scene to just show that ShumaDav works and it cleans the picture pretty well, you can make it smaller here too, somewhere, let's make the luma 5.0, chrome 10, here's the picture

svivasa is a bit grainy yes what can be done with an iPhone let's add some shumava to the iPhone it's already noisy out of the box let's add some shumava to it here shumada here we also do ultra analyze removed noise and with it everything disappeared well let's remove luma so that it's like on Vivas yes luma let's say 4.0 is a lot of 1 chrome is also a lot here two here's what we can talk about when with Vivas we basically get a real skin color this is a real skin color honest and this is from the iPhone I'm basically saying goodbye to you on this I have nothing more to add for now
