- Hello, everyone. Welcome to "A Call with Dr. Cook." Today is January 26th, and it's January, we're in 2022, if you can believe it. So Dr. Cook,
welcome to "A Call with Doc," it wouldn't be "A Call with Dr. Cook" without you. - We'd have to rename it, but it's good to be here. - Happy New Year. We're kind of in an interesting transition. Most of the Western countries celebrate New Year as of January 1st, but it's interesting to note that we're just in front of the Chinese New Year, I believe that starts on February 1st, right? February? Yeah, and so, anyway, it's...
- It's coming up, I know that. - It'll be right here before we know it, the Year of the Tiger. And so, here we are starting the new year, that's kind of an exciting thing for us all. Dr. Cook, I know that New Years is always associated with New Year's resolution, and... I've already...
Every year, it seems like we make New Year's resolutions and I'll be happy to admit that I've kept all of mine for about a week so far, so that's a record for me. - That's good. Well, if you didn't set them on the first, you're in pretty good shape.
We are three weeks into the year. - Celebrating the Chinese New Year resolutions, I get a start over now, so I'm gonna celebrate with the Chinese this year, so... - Excellent. - Anyway, I know that that's kind of the topic at hand today, is talking about resolve and resolutions and making positive changes in your life. - And I think I'm sharing my screen here. - Oh, look at that, yes, you are.
(indistinct chatter) It was there for a second, it went black, but I think it might just be a little lag in the internet, let's see if it'll come back again. - I don't know. - This technology is actually amazing, that we're able to do this. And we always have... We're lucky to have as few technical challenges as we have.
- Let's see, that's... - I am seeing a steel trap now, there we go, successful resolutions, epic, that looks great. - Okay, good.
So we're talking about those things that... Years ago, I stopped making New Year's resolutions, George, because I found that every year I was making the same resolution or the same set of resolutions, so I decided I'll just have goals periodically and that works, it's less stressful. - Oh. - But it still takes resolve, and that is one of the key things, to make a resolution successful, you've got to hang on to whatever it is you wanna do.
So I wanna start by telling a story. - Okay. - Now, this is a true story. When I was a young man, I think I was probably 13 years old, would be my guess, it was junior high school.
I don't know who came up with the idea, but somebody in my school decided that it would be a good idea to find out who was the toughest kid in the school. And rather than fight everybody, whoever came up with the plan said, "Well, let's just arm wrestle." And so, we built this elimination process, and said, okay, well, we're gonna team up and we'll arm wrestle, and then the winner moves on and whoever dominates or comes out on top gets the prize, and hopefully, gets all the admiration of all the girls in the school. - So we started in... - Bragging rights. - It's what? - It's bragging rights.
- Yeah, yeah. Well, we started the contest and there were two of us that ended up in the finals, that was me and one other young man, and I'm just calling him him, so it's him and me. And the problem was that this is a comparison, that was him, and that was me. And if you just looked at us, you would say, "There's no way that Cook's gonna win this arm wrestle against this guy 'cause he's a wimp compared to him." Well, lo and behold, I beat him. - Wow. - And it turns out
that none of the girls were that impressed, but it really irked this guy. And everyday, for about four days, he would meet me at the bus, we rode buses to school, so when my bus would arrive, he'd be there waiting for me, and he'd say, "Hey, let's go arm wrestle again." So I'd go into the gym with him and I'd beat him. And then the next day he came, it happened three or four times, and finally, I realized, this guy's not gonna give up until he beats me.
So that day, I let him beat me, and he never asked me again. Now, that's just an aside, that's not really the story. The story is... I mean, the value of the story is that there's more to arm wrestling than just having a big arm.
And so, George, I know that you're a big arm wrestler, so I'm gonna tell you how I won this contest. That my strategy was not to overpower anyone, my strategy was to outlast everyone. What I would do is I would lock my arm and then I would attention to my opponent, and whenever they would relax their arm, because when you're arm wrestling, you've gotta relax and then attack again, and relax and attack, so there's that instant of relax, and when they would relax, I would just move my arm just a little bit, and a little bit further, and after they relaxed four or five times, I would have a leverage advantage on them and they'd be in a compromised position, and then it was easy from there just to push them down.
So that's how I won, and that's how I beat this kid with the big arm. Now, that's not the point of this... - I love the story, Dr. Cook. Hey... - Well, yeah, it's kind of fun, and it really did...
- It's a true story. Hey, you might wanna turn off your video for just a second and see if that speeds things up, there's just a tiny lag. - Okay. - If you'll click off your video and then just keep going, I think we'll continue on here. - Let me. There we go.
Okay, let's see if that helps. - Great. - The reason that I beat is that I actually engaged all of the aspects of the triad of health, and we've talked about this triad of health on a number of calls. Energy, emotion, and function, and let's start by talking about energy as it relates to resolutions. We have about 50 to a hundred trillion cells, nobody really knows for sure, but we have a lot of them.
And inside each one of those cells, we have a little energy generating component that's called the mitochondria. Now, if you could reduce yourself in size and get a small enough that you could actually get inside a mitochondria, you would be electrocuted. So it's not a good idea to do that. But there's so much energy in those mitochondria that it would be fatal, in fact, if you took a piece of the sun that was the same size as you are, you actually generate more energy than the sun does. So we have a lot of energy going on inside, and it's a good thing we're not as big as the sun. The way we make that energy is we consume raw material, and in this case, we can see a woman here, I'm assuming those are a woman's lips, it got some lipstick on them, she's eating a strawberry, and that strawberry will then give her vitamins and minerals.
And one of the vitamins that she'll get from the strawberry is vitamin B6, now, this is the formula, the chemical formula for vitamin B6. And you can see that it is an arrangement of individual chemicals, and that arrangement, we call B6, and that arrangement carries its own information, it's actually inherent in the arrangement of things. So information is conveyed into the mitochondria along with the chemical, and that information is important in instructing the mitochondria how to utilize the vitamin B6. Moving on to emotion, the emotion involves our head and our heart, we say, but it actually involves our whole body.
- Okay. - And we have a variety of emotions, we know that in order to be as healthy as we can be, those emotions need to be fluid. In fact, if you look at the name in English, it's emotion, so they need to be fluid, and they need to be moving.
You don't wanna get stuck on any particular emotion. What creates an emotion or one of the components that creates an emotion is amino acids get organized into specific sequences called peptides, and those peptides are an arrangement of things. And that arrangement of things carries its own information.
So with emotions, information also plays a key part, because information is what is conveyed by an arrangement of the things. - Right. - Looking at the functional side of this triad, obviously, if you wanna participate in an arm wrestle, you've gotta have an arm.
And it has to be... It has to be functioning, but what happens with so much of our lives is that we fixate on one particular issue, so we become hyper-focused on your arm, as an example. And I suspect what happened in junior high is that my friend who lost to me, who when you look at him, you would have guessed he was gonna win, he probably hyper-focused on his muscles, and he had bigger muscles than I did, but when you put the whole package together, he was left wanting. And that's one of the things that CERT does for us, CERT will help us overcome these hyper-focused perceptions that lock us into stuck positions.
- Right. - And a couple of... I think it was last... Again, somebody asked about...
"Well, I've been using Limbic Arc, and things aren't going right." "I'm not making as much money," or, "I lost my job," there were some bad things that had happened to him. - That was a string of horrible things that they experienced, yeah.
- And I think if you're fixated on one solution, like, I don't have enough money at the end of the month, and the only solution I can see is to make more money, well, maybe that's not, maybe another solution is to don't spend so much money, or to do things that don't require money. There's lots of solutions to the I don't have enough money problem, but if your only perceived solution is, "I have to have more money," you might find that your disappointed. So CERT will help us get past these stuck perceptions. And it moves us to the point where we're not just going through life essentially blind to lots of possibilities that exist.
So it takes the entire triad of health to give us the strength and the power that we need to create and follow through and make a resolution successful. The way Limbic Arc plays into this is Limbic Arc gives you, through your account, access to a library in the cloud, and that library is an arrangement of things, so there's information inherent in that library. When you do a Spark Scan and it scores all of those items, you can then select the ones you want to include in your InfoBoost, then you activate the InfoBoost, and when the InfoBoost is activated, those selected items are moved into your fields through a quantum phenomenon that's called entanglement.
And that information then becomes available to you, and you incorporate it, and it should have and will have an impact on your triad of health. And that triad of health will impact the quality of life components, this chart on the left here shows the five different elements that make up quality of life. - Right. - And our goal and the objective of Limbic Arc is to help you achieve or be or have anything you want to achieve or be or have in any (indistinct) to your quality of life. And that is my last slide, George.
Well, I got through those fast, didn't I? - Well, no, no, it was really good, but it's interesting because sometimes, it just takes the little incremental pieces to get there, right? It's not like it happens overnight, it's like your arm wrestling example, it may not be just the big gun or the big muscle, it might be more to it than that, so... Dr. Cook, even though we can turn our videos back on with the internet and a little bit of a lag, let's go ahead and finish up the questions with our cameras off and see if that keeps things moving a little smoother. - Will do. - As much as we wanna watch you, I think... - Oh, yeah. I know we're missing a lot.
- Well, I have a face for radio, I think, is the way they say that, I mean, you look great, though. - There you go. - So anyway, well, thanks Dr. Cook, I mean, as we look forward to resolutions, I mean, we're talking about whole wellness, it's not just a slice or a piece, it's the whole, and if you don't address the emotion, it's hard to just focus on the physical, and so, it just... We're whole individuals, and so, that helps, thank you for that.
- Well, and the other thing, George, is I think people sometimes say, well... They have a hard time getting their head around the value of information, and we sometimes think that the only information that we deal with is the conscious learning that we do with our frontal lobe. - Okay. - And that's the smallest part, I mean... You're using information in your body all the time and it's information that you're not consciously aware of, you don't have... It's way beyond our ability to comprehend or manage consciously, and so, when we get into things that touch the quantum world, information is as significant there as anything you would read in a book, in fact, it's more significant there.
- Isn't that fascinating? - So Limbic Arc is a powerful tool that has a lot of science behind it, it's not just some crazy idea, it's a real deal. - Well, if somebody asks me if I knew how to grow toenails, my first answer is, of course, I don't know how, but then I think about it, I've been doing it my entire life, right? I mean, it's that subconscious part of my body that just brilliantly takes me through life and all of the challenges that I have. - Yeah. - Well, we've got some questions, Dr. Cook, if you've got a couple minutes.
This is probably one of my favorite parts of this call. It gives people, Limbic Arc affiliates, associates, and customers throughout the world a chance to ask questions directly to you in a very public way, so we've got a few questions today, we'll maybe start with our first one here. "I was wondering why some percentages on certain botanicals remain high after each new Spark Scan." "Does it mean that the body needs more time with that information to have a positive result?" I'm assuming that this person, every time they do a Spark Scan, they're seeing certain things that keep popping up over and over again. - I would assume that's the case. And I think that the assumption on that second question is correct, I mean, if it continues to show up, I think it's probably adding value.
And we all need magnesium, we all need calcium, we all need potassium, and it doesn't matter how many days passed, you're still gonna need those things. So there are some things that are foundational, and it's very possible that some of the things that are not foundational, you may have a deficiency and/or a need for that information, and again, I need to make sure I'm couching this in the right terms, George, it's not like you turn on a magnesium InfoBoost and you're getting magnesium, you're just getting an information pattern that's been linked to magnesium. You still have to eat food, you still have to consume magnesium. - Well, and I know that there's been a lot of talk in the past about sometimes, our wellness will block certain things, and so, the information, certainly, using Limbic Arc technology, is a very important way to get that through, and so, I wouldn't be surprised, in fact, I know personally from my own scans that there are things that I will see time and time again, and I just have always assumed that I need that a little bit more in my body. So I start looking for foods that have those ingredients in it, and it changes some of my choices in terms of what I consume.
- Mm-hmm. Yeah. - Great, okay let's move on. The next question.
"Should I take breaks between InfoBoost or CERT InfoBoosts?" - The answer is, if you want to, yes, I mean, there's no right and wrong way to use Limbic Arc, in other words, you don't just have to do it the way I do it, or you're doing it wrong, that's not the way it's built. I will tell you how I use it, I usually have one kind of a constitutional InfoBoost going, and then, periodically, I'll add another one, and sometimes it's two, but those will be short-term ones. And every time I do an InfoBoost, I turn on a CERT.
Now, the CERT lasts for 24 hours. And what I want to do, the reason I do it that way is I want the CERT to release any of those stuck perceptions that may (indistinct) in what the other InfoBoost is dealing with. And there are times, George, when I'll forget, and so, Limbic Arc turns off, and a couple of days later, I go, oh, hey, I'm not getting any... I'm not getting any information on my Limbic Arc, what's going on? And I open it up, and lo and behold, all of my InfoBoosts have terminated, they've expired. And I don't panic, I just turn on another InfoBoost.
So again, it's not... There's not just a right way to do it. - I find for myself, Dr. Cook, that I kind of go through different cycles, and there are times when the focus InfoBoost really makes a difference for me, and so, I'll do that for a little bit, and then I'll move to something else, and it almost...
I wouldn't say it's a pattern, but it seems to repeat itself in some ways, and I don't know if I'm just out of the ordinary or... It's interesting, though, when you start paying attention to how it works. What InfoBoost do you like to use, Dr. Cook? I mean, do you find some that you just keep going back to time and time again? - Well, honestly, most of them are custom. I do use the...
I like the five element one, the male five element. But most of the time, I just do a custom. - Yeah. - And even... I mean, I do a Spark Scan, even if I'm gonna pick a... One, let's say I'm gonna pick pain or sleep, I will do a Spark Scan, and then I'll go into that InfoBoost and select the items that show at the top and turn those on, I don't ever go in and turn everything on. So I tend to limit my boost ingredients with an InfoBoost to maybe 20 or less, and sometimes, as few as one or two or three.
- Right. Boy, one of my things to do is I like to go and see the items that rank high on my reports. And if you've got a few minutes, it's fun to Google those ingredients and learn just a little bit about it, and sometimes, it gives me insights into some of the things that I'm doing, it actually makes me appreciate the technology of Limbic Arc even a little bit more when I do that, 'cause it seems like the more I know, the more sense it makes.
- That's true, that's true. - Okay, let's... We'll move on. - And if you're seeing... Well, and if we go back to the other question, if you're seeing something show up repeatedly, it doesn't hurt to do a little more research, you might find out why. - Yeah. Well, and that's the fascinating thing, is as soon as I start to look at those botanicals, and I start to try and put myself into it, whatever that boost ingredient is, of course, I understand my history, and I understand what I'm feeling and what I'm thinking and what I'm eating and consuming, and boy, sometimes it really pieces things together and it actually helps me.
And even in terms of like, if I'm trying to have a New Year's resolution to be a little more fit, if I'm using it under that kind of a lens, if I'm looking at life through that kind of a lens, it makes a lot more sense to me. - I began today with a program that a friend of mine introduced to me, and I decided, okay, I'm gonna do an InfoBoost to help me stay on track here. And so, I went in and I did a Spark Scan talking about this particular program, it has to do with being more fit and more healthy, et cetera.
I'm telling you I don't set resolutions, and now, I'm telling you that I'm involved in one, kind of. But... - We all do, we all have goals, right? - Well, yeah, and it's... I don't think this is gonna necessarily make me more successful in what I'm going to do, but if it helps me remember to do what I wanna do, what I've committed to do, that's huge, because sometimes, you just lose track, and if you lose track, you lose the benefit. So I'll let you know how that goes.
I'll probably be a whole new man here in 60 days. - Hey, I believe it, I do. I'm excited. We've got a couple more questions, I think that there... I know we're running low on time, but the first question, well, "How do I interpret the colors from my Spark Scan?" And I'm assuming when they're talking about the little graphic that pops up that has the different colors.
- Yeah, I think the flower, sometimes it's called. The answer is those colors do not match with any kind of an emotional color chart. - Okay. - The graphic artist who designs software for us, he picked those just because they looked good, so it's eye candy. - Okay. - It's not significant. - So it's...
Don't put too much energy into that. And then a follow up question, I thought this was fascinating. "I'm concerned about the long-term side effects of quantum-energy technology, with the Limbic Arc technology being so young, has anyone evaluated this for the long-term, such as like what happens in five years or in 10 years?" - Well, the...
It's not as new as people think. Limbic Arc, the product, in its current incarnation is three or four years old. But I've been involved in energy medicine and quantum energy medicine for about 40 years now. - Yeah. - And so, the technology
that we're using and the technology we rely on has been around for a long time, and I've been using this kind of stuff for decades. - Okay. - So I have no concern whatsoever about any kind of a long-term adverse problem. - Well, we live in a world with quantum energy in it. I mean, it's always been here.
And just because it hasn't been used or hasn't been understood doesn't mean that it's existed, I think that we've lived our entire lives in this universe associated with quantum energy. - Well, and what we're dealing with Limbic Arc is information. So it's not that we're creating new information, we're just tapping into information that exists and making it usable, or the people who are using Limbic Arc, at making it meaningful. So like you say, it's been around from the beginning of time.
- Okay. Well, it's... It's an interesting question.
It's a... A lot of people, this is their first introduction into this field and into this technology, and so, it seems so new and exciting, but maybe we're just becoming smarter as humans and we're just learning how to leverage the universe around us. - I expect that's the case, and this is a good question, I mean, it's certainly a legitimate concern.
- Right, right. Well, that's... Well, I'd like to... I will just wrap things up, or just let everybody know that our next call is gonna be... Is scheduled for Wednesday, February 23rd. Again, it's gonna be 10 o'clock, and since we're in mountain time, that's when we're gonna do it, Dr. Cook.
So put that on your next... Put that on your agenda, February 23rd, and be sure to invite your friends and your family members to listen in. I would also remind everyone that we've got a wonderful customer success group, and if you need help, if you need to change your account or set up an InfoBoost or run an InfoBoost, feel free to go and interact with our customer success group. If you'll go to the contact us section of the website, you'll be able to find the contact there. And while you're there, try that new chat feature, it will translate, so you can actually communicate in your home language and they'll be able to carry on a conversation with you, and so, hopefully that will help.
We will be sending an announcement email a little bit later today with a replay link, and while you're there, if you wanna see past replay links from "A Call with Dr. Cook," you can go, and you can either find it there on our YouTube channel, or you can go to the top of any page on the limbicarc.com site and you can find "A Call with Dr. Cook," and you can look through those different topics there.
And just a reminder, when you're done, go ahead, I think you'll be able to redirect to a signup page for next month's call, that way, you'll get a reminder just in front. So sometimes, you'll be so involved in getting your New Year's resolutions done, sometimes a reminder will help, so that'll do us. So again, from all of us at Limbic Arc, have a happy, happy new year, be it a Western New Year, or a Chinese New Year, and Dr. Cook, thank you so much, it was a pleasure, again, to listen to you, and to learn from you again. - Thanks, George.
See you all soon. - Thanks all.
