Hisense A6G versus Hisense U6G I make this comparison mainly because some subscribers ask me if both televisions are the same and if they simply change in terms of name depending on each country, I must tell you that they are not the same in the graphic section, they are very different, starting with their technology of backlighting for the case of the A6G which is direct LED without local dimming while that of the U6G which is much better is Full Array with local dimming and this is mainly noticeable of course in dark scenes mainly those that have high dynamic range so in this case the A6G is going to show a greater amount or greater intensity of the clouding effect in addition to light bleeding, while in the U6G, due to having the aforementioned Full Array with local dimming with 32 local dimming zones for this size of 55 inches, the clouding effect is very lower as well as light bleeding and well obviously these results are going to be noticed when you observe There is content of this type with many dark parts and also in a room where they use televisions it is totally dark or with very little lighting because when the room has a lot of light or if they see content with more color, then those effects are simply not going to be perceived but keep in mind that in this case the U6G is much better with a contrast ratio of 4,749:1 and with the local dimming of 5,234:1 this of course using cinema mode while the contrast ratio of the A6G is 4,265:1 also using the cinema mode for this and other reasons I consider that it is worth paying almost between 150 and 200 dollars more and go for the Hisense U6G other reasons why it is worth spending more and go for the Hisense U6G are first that it has a The best color technology in this case is Quantum Dots and the other thing is that it has a greater amount of brightness in standard dynamic range and in high dynamic range it reaches 493 nits while the Hisense A6G in dynamic range standard mico reaches 269 nits and high dynamic range 288 nits and in terms of high dynamic range technologies both televisions support hdr10 hlg dolby vision the difference is that the U6G which also supports hdr10 plus while the A6G does not support hdr10 plus must have Keep in mind that the Hisense A6G, which is considered the low-end or entry-level range of last year 2021, while the Hisense U6G could be considered the low-end of the ULED models with Quantum Dots technology also from last year 2021 because the mid-range of that line would be the U7G and the high-end the U8G another very high difference in favor of the U6G is that it has less dirty screen effect while in the A6G it is incredibly noticeable not only with this gray background but also in content with more color mainly where a single color prevails or the range of that color in this case the green color is going to be very annoying when they watch sports or play sports video games or for example in a scene where you can see a lot of the sky the sea mountains landscapes in general remember that if you like this video I invite you to please give it the like button and also subscribe to my channel if you haven't yet, buy one if you can membership of the channel so that they can access extra benefits, in addition to that they would support me and activate the notification bell so that they can know instantly every time I upload a new video, now there are some things in which they are practically the same, one of them is the processor both have the same processor a quad core ARM cortex-A55 both also have the same GPU which is a Mali-470 and both have 2 gigabytes of RAM the other thing they are the same is in the design of those remote controls that is this is practically the same although I know that in other countries they have another design but at least these are the ones found here in Colombia of course both have a microphone button for the Google voice assistant the operating system of both televisions is Android tv based on Android 9 the fluidity is practically the same because they have the same processor which would be expected sometimes they open applications and videos a little faster on the U6G and others times in the A6G, although the differences in terms of opening and loading videos is very small, only a few milliseconds, both televisions support the screen sharing function or known as screen mirroring, but neither of them supports multiview or overlapping screens or picture in picture the app store on both televisions is of course the same as the Google Play Store which is very extensive and apk files can be installed on both if necessary the storage space on both televisions is 11 gigabytes can be more than enough for almost any user and of course in both we can find a good variety of applications that p They can fulfill the function of internet browsers and in them you can play multimedia content if you want it. For these results, in terms of image scaling, I am using the cinema mode in terms of image on both televisions, the result is practically the same since they have the same processor with content that has low resolution could be noticed slightly pixelated parts but nothing alarming can become tolerable and normal already from 1080p the image scaling work on both televisions is very good in fact the content seems to have a little more of resolution, although even so it will not be shown in 4k and from 1440p onwards, the image scaling work on both televisions will make the results very similar to a native 4k and of course both can play content in native 4k both in standard dynamic range as well as high dynamic range without problems just remember that they must have a very good speed of d downloading from the internet in their homes to be able to play high-resolution content through streaming applications such as Netflix YouTube Amazon prime among others now well in terms of the gaming section they must bear in mind that for some unknown reason when they use video games that have high dynamic range none of these televisions have game mode and although at first glance in each image mode it seems that both have a good or very decent input lag time, what happens is that when I compare them with other televisions that do have game mode, yes The difference is a little noticeable, it is not very big, but for a gamer who is very trained, it can be somewhat tedious, but when they use video games in standard dynamic range, a game mode appears as such and yes, the change obviously improves the input lag time being less although the difference is not so brutal for a gamer who is not very trained or not very demanding probably e will not notice that difference in terms of the input delay time that in both televisions can range between 10.5 and 10.9 milliseconds in terms of gaming technologies, neither of them supports hdmi 2.1 ports, neither of them supports 120 hertz in 4k and neither variable refresh rates the maximum resolution that is 4k is compatible with the maximum 60 hertz in terms of refresh rate or refresh rate in terms of graphic quality it seems to me that both televisions are handled very well obviously the colors look better vivid in the U6G because it has quantum dots color technology but it seems to me that the A6G does not do a bad job what I like is that in both televisions the dark or shadowy parts appear with good clarity allowing us to notice the details very well none of them will suffer from the effect known as Black Crush and of course both televisions, despite the fact that they do not have 120 hertz in 4k, still of course they will being able to work with the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X simply with the obvious limitations, that is, they will not have variable refresh rates and neither will the aforementioned 120 hertz in 4k and as for their response times for the A6G it is 17, 5 milliseconds and for the U6G of 11.6 milliseconds in theory it is better in the U6G but in practice that difference from my point of view is almost imperceptible to the human eye and brain in terms of handling movement when viewing content through applications such as Netflix Amazon prime or in this case YouTube, which is the one I use as an example, the two televisions are equally regular because neither of them has something that reduces the vibration effect on the two televisions, it can be noticed in the case of The U6G has the adjustment known as LED clear motion or free movement of led but this darkens the image and the improvement that is achieved is not so much as to sacrifice that clarity or brightness I don't know if more go ahead in both they can solve this through a software update maybe yes maybe at least yes in the U6G as it happened for example with the H8G also from Hisense of 2020 their viewing angles are not the best because they have VA panels and that The main disadvantage of this type of panel is that the colors lose some volume or look somewhat whitish when their screens are viewed from very wide angles, therefore they are recommended televisions to always see them from the front, that is, they are not highly recommended when many people must sit around their screens because they could experience whitish colors and the handling of reflections is not very pleasant we could say that it is acceptable both televisions are more recommended for dark rooms slightly recommended for rooms that receive reflections through light sources but they are not the most recommended for rooms that receive natural light, although in that aspect the U6G It could counteract those reflections a little better because it has a greater amount of brightness.

The heating on the screen after using them for a little more than two hours without stopping, also of course with video games on both televisions, is relatively low, being a little higher at that temperature for obvious reasons in the U6G because it has a greater amount of brightness which was expected but in any case it is not something exaggerated in any of these televisions they will feel an exaggerated heat when approaching their screens in terms of inputs the A6G has composite inputs it has a port for optical digital cable one port for LAN cable for internet one 3.5 millimeter headphone port two usb 2.0 ports three hdmi 2.0 ports and one port for air antenna none of those hdmi ports support enhanced audio return channel now ok the U6G also has composite inputs it also has a 3.5 millimeter headphone port and also a 3.5 millimeter port for example to connect some speakers also of course it has an input for the LAN cable for the internet it has 4 hdmi 2.0 ports none of them support enhanced audio return channel it has two usb 2.0 ports a port for optical digital cable and a port for the cable for the air antenna in terms of sound the power of the A6G is 16 watts and that of the U6G is 20 watts in practice it is not felt as much in terms of power as such but in terms of fidelity being better or of done much better on the U6G although I'm not saying the sound system performance of the A6G is terrible just that it's much better from a U6G point of view at the end of this video you'll be able to judge that for yourselves and as soon as to technologies the 2 televisions support dolby to audio technologies and also DTS technologies and to finish you should keep in mind that in the case of the Hisense A6G this 50-inch size has a VA panel so does the 60-inch and 70-inch and also the 85-inch but the rest of the sizes such as 43-inch 55-inch 65 -inch and 75-inch have IPS panel that will probably have a worse performance in dark scenes with more clouding and more effect of light bleeding remember this is 50 inches with a VA panel while in the case of the Hisense U6G all its sizes are available , that is, 50 inches, this 55-inch, the 65-inch and the 75-inch come with a VA panel, although in some countries the The 75-inch can also come with an ADS panel , so look at least here in Colombia, the 50-inch Hisense A6G is more or less around 400 dollars or approximately one million 500 thousand Colombian pesos, while the 55-inch U6G costs approximately 650 dollars or on average about 2 million 500 thousand Colombian pesos the question is whether or not it is worth paying more for the U6G I tell them that of course it is worth it, it is much better in almost everything as you have already noticed, however, the A6G can be an acceptable option for a person who is not very demanding, who is simply not demanding in terms of brightness , who does not care about the dirty screen effect, who in terms of sound is not willing to place maximum volume and expect great performance it seems to me that it has a good representation of colors and an operating system just as fluid but for those who want to treat themselves and have better performance in dark scenes more brightness more vivid colors and a better sound system the Hisense U6G is worth a lot and also keep in mind that at least here in Colombia both televisions offer a three-year warranty which is great I don't know what you think about both televisions what do you think which one seems better or better said obviously the U6G is better but do you feel that with the A6G you would be more than satisfied or do you feel that it is worth spending more and going for the U6G please let me know it in the comment box if you liked this video I invite you to please click the like button and also subscribe to my channel if you haven't already and if you can, acquire a membership to the channel so that you can access extra benefits and also that way they would support me and activate the notification bell so they can know instantly every time I upload a new video not being more goodbye I'll see you in the next one and I invite you so you can judge the performance of the system sound from both tvs
