This point Coachella, became living hell okay I didn't, want to be here anymore but I still had to be there for another I don't know hour-and-a-half it was not good I have never been, more tired in. And welcome, to Emma's, Coachella, review, you might be like Emma let's just like end the vlog right no one gives a fuck well, I thought it would be kind of valuable, if I gave you guys a little Coachella, review because everybody's always talking about how amazing it is now perfect, it is and how flawless it is and how perfect it is and how it's the best time of the year and how it's so fun and there's no flaws and it's totally, worth the thousands. Of dollars that you invest into it the funny part about it is it's not even actually investing, because you don't ever actually make any money back it just sucks money from your wallet and then you never actually make it back it just goes into nothing because you don't it's just that's the thing about it also look at this weird piece of lint in my hair it makes me really uncomfortable and, I like can't get my eyes off of it and like editing right now he's really difficult because they keep staring at the stupid piece of lint anyway okay well today I'm here to tell you the truth I think everybody wants Coachella.
To Be as amazing as it looks because like they just want to believe it you know and I wanted to believe it that's for damn sure and was I let down no it was still a really cool experience but it's definitely not what I expected it to be so I thought I would kind of take you through the pros and the cons so, first we're gonna start out with the cons because, there's. More. Of them I think that part of it is because my expectations, were so high that like a lot of things stuck out to me as being like kind, of shitty the first con is that your. Body is gonna be hurting at all times my feet were hurting from, standing on them all day my back was hurting from, like standing, up all day and jumping around and shit my lips were constantly. Chapped like he did not matter how much chaps men put on they were just getting dried out drying out dried out my nose was all dry and had like dust and crusted, in it because there's like dust flying around cuz you're in the desert yeah I had blisters all over my feet I don't know why I was like chafing, like my backpack, strings were like chafing, my like arms, like it was bad I'm also sensitive that was probably part of it I'm a pussy, moving, on it's not all about the music a lot of people I know even me I was like oh I'm going for the music dude like what the fuck like I don't care about anything else I just want to hear the artists, I love you no it's not like that okay I was like so disappointed, because there was a lot of artists I wanted to see that I just couldn't end up seeing because like sometimes - your favorite artists will like be playing at the same time and you've to like choose you know you and your friend might not Green so then it's like I don't want to see them and it's like well I want to see them and it's like mile hang go by yourself and you're like well I don't want to die but also a lot of the times you'll show up and you'll be so excited and then they'll be like a technical, difficulty for example, I went and I saw Rex Orange County he was a special guest I was so excited he's one of my favorite artists like ever and like his microphone kept like hang up like it like stopped working completely at one point and he like you couldn't even hear him also like his microphone kept making like weird loud squeaky, sounds was all fucked up I'm like what the hell you're going just for the music I would say don't go because it's so much money and you're probably not even gonna see everybody you want and like it's probably not even gonna sound as good as it would if you just like went to their concert, like separately. Another con is that it's. A fuckin mess it's a big mess there's creepy, men everywhere. People just like grabbing your arm and like kissing your hand and following, you around and shit like I'm ugly and they still were doing that and that says something, drunk people everywhere, like people throwing up it's a mess okay moving on there's just no reception so if you want to like text your friend and be like where are you you can't like if you're lost you are lost. Next it's so fucking, expensive if it was cheaper, I wouldn't be as harsh but because it's literally, anywhere, between like four hundred and fifty dollars in like two thousand dollars depending on when you buy your ticket or if your VIP etc, I spent like nine dollars a day on coffee this is actually a lie I literally, spent 27 dollars a day on coffee because I bought a minimum, of three and they're each nine dollars meaning that I spent a minimum, of twenty seven dollars. God. I got in a sigh Bowl one day and that she was fourteen dollars I mean it would have been twelve but I wanted almond butter on it so. That added two dollars I don't care the only cheap thing I Hotel is the water bottles in there two dollars each which if you really think about it it's still kind of a lot but whatever also buying your outfits, for it are expensive, because that's like the whole point of Coachella it's the outfits and like the pictures and making, it look fun when it's really like not as fun as it actually looks so that's all the cons now let's talk about the pros number one the vibes are good you're gonna meet a bunch of different types of people you're probably gonna see some celebs which is always fun but like if.
You Don't, go to Coachella just to see the celebs because you'll look at them from far away and be like whoa and then that's it and it's like is that really worth it. $700, ticket now everybody's, just trying to have a good time except for the pedophiles they also actually are trying to have a good but like not, kind. Of good time that we like in this community. Another. Pro is that it's, super fun to post about it on Instagram, and make everyone else hate their lives that aren't there the way that people make it look on Instagram, wow like it's a lie like I mean I'm being honest like it looks so fun on Instagram, like I remember all the years I was like oh my god like that looks so amazing and it's cool but like it is not, as fun as it looks on Instagram the amount of like struggles, that we dealt with throughout the whole thing was. Like absurd, I feel like that's about it so that's all the pros and cons overall. I think I'd rate Coachella a 6 out of 10 it's exhausting, afterwards, you're like this is just. Like. I can't even believe I just went through that hopefully, that shed some light on what it's really like and you can like make a decision more educated, Lee now everybody, else lying, to you guys being like Coachella so fun it's, the perfect. This thing are you laughing who knows if I'll be going next year I don't know I don't know if I can do that again but then again it's one of those things where it's like. It's. Kind of worth it though. You.

Go to other festivals!!! I am a festival lover and i would never go to Coachella (if i had to pay for it) just because of all of the cons you said. Other festivals aren’t like that as much, it’s mostly all about good vibes and the music and no one gives af about what you’re wearing. Plus it’s not as expensive So much more worth it!!!

Its honestly what you make of it. You gotta do the parties during the day, so you dont exhaust yourself. There is free food and drinks at all the good parties. Then the festival itself is very well put together and has great production. It is as fun as it looks for me.

you honestly need to go to a festival that you can camp at. I know you can probably camp at Coachella though! The reason I’m saying that is because when you do get tired you can leave the festival and go to the campgrounds and take a nap at your tent and get up an hour later and go right back into the festival! I would hate going to a festival and staying at a hotel at night because you’re going to have to be at the festival all fucking day but if you go to something like electric forest in Michigan you can leave the festival whenever you want plus the festival is a forest which is fucking awesome. But you can leave it whenever you want and just as long as you’re back in the festival by 3 AM you can actually take your hammock and sleep in the festival all night if you want. the campgrounds are just as fun when you’re in the right section! preferably the RV section at electric forest campgrounds because they bring their DJ set up’s and have mad parties. I stayed in the RV lot last year and it was mind blowing

the cons you have probably stem from the fact you don't go to festivals often or raves like people who rave would probably have a lot less cons lol not saying its a bad thing or anything but even if you had a friend who raves and went with you, you would have been a lot more prepared. like the water situation, camelbacks save lives lol and your body hurting, girl you HAVE TO take breaks and stretch, especially if its a 3 day festival. Also i saw that you went reeeeeaally early so that just means more time on your feet and less sleep. Im glad you still had fun though but theres some things that could definitely avoided

Coachella isn’t worth going to if you’re on a budget. You NEED to buy a VIP ticket to truly enjoy it. The VIP areas aren’t crowded, the bathrooms in the VIP areas have REAL bathrooms which, let’s face it... make all the difference. The lines for food and drinks have either no wait times or are never more than a few minutes. With that being said, it’s A LOT of walking so you need to wear comfortable shoes, it’s in the desert so it’s dusty, so a handkerchief and glasses are a must! I completely agree about the paranoia of the backpack & in reality you don’t even need to carry nearly as much as you think you do so when deciding on an outfit, stick to comfortable fabrics & accessories. FOOD IS FUCKING EXPENSIVE, food items range from $10-20 and drinks are $9 on average, so it’s like going to your state fair- 3 days in a row. If you can afford the bike taxi’s, they are the way to go, your feet will thank you because if you walk from the first gate check in to the last, you’ll easily be walking for a mile, not to mention the miles of walking you’ll do inside the venue + dancing+ standing so yes your body will be run down by day 3. All in all, it’s an experience, the hotel rooms/home rentals are probably the biggest expense, a group of 4 should budget at least $100 a piece for Uber/lyft to take them to and from the event for the festival. Coachella is fantastic if it’s done right, weekend 1 is the weekend that most of the celebs attend & the men with money, so if you’re into that, then be prepared to shell out more money than if you were to go to weekend 2. With that being said, if you can muster the strength to party after the festival closes... celebs throw parties after Coachella, this year Diddy through a big party and so did The Weeknd — have fun, if you do drugs be safe, & enjoy.

Girl we need to go back to basics first of all drinks and food range from about 5-20$ so you need to be prepared also wearing all the glam shit ain't gonna make you feel comfortable make sure if your doing makeup you aren't over doing it like some people do do light makeup because you will thank me for saying this but wearing heavy makeup to a festival this big will cause touch ups 24/7 two by the time your back at your hotel or where u are staying you look like a piece of crap and you start to wonder if you looked like that all day also comfortable shoes are a must Never and I mean never wear high heels no heel boots or anything like that your are going to have pain in your feet all night and day and two don't bring any extra jackets or shoes cause most of the time there is nowhere to put it You also might wanna watch out on what your wearing how you wear it cause pictures can end up on social media with the wrong idea and this is a real must atleast most of the day keep water or any water bottles on you I swear it will help so much it keeps you hydrated and it makes it easier to walk around instead of having to stop at any food or drinks pit stop and never ever have your phone out when you are walking around because one you might drop it and two people can easily take it from you keep your phone in a bag or small handbag plus your are in the desert so you might want to keep a small pack of tissues in your bag or handbag when your nose feels blocked also the first day is when most celebrities are around so try stick around the celebrities you want to see most it means it might be easier to get a picture *if possible sometimes they don't allow it* also try be as close to food or drinks area as possible I promise you the minute you get hungry is the minute you start to realise there are gonna be big lines and more people are just gonna cut so yes those are the basic facts if you wanna survive 3 days at coachella also one thing as soon as you get back to your hotel or where ever get your makeup off as soon as possible and try get into comfortable clothes and try get a lot of sleep or you will be most likely angry and sleep deprived the whole day hope this helped anyone who is going coachella in further years

I mean this seems like a very honest review but Coachella is a music festival, there are conflicts in music and sound problems, the food is overpriced and alcohol. I feel if you had been to more festivals before this you would've been able to have a lot better time. That being said Coachella is overpriced af and isn't worth it if you have an extra grand to drop on vip tickets so its actually worth it by any means.

I feel like a lot of the things you complained about are things that you deal with at any festival. Festivals aren’t for everyone. I do think that Coachella is overrated and expensive and there are other festivals that are definitely better, but Coachella is still a great time especially if you live nearby. I wouldn’t say you should go see someone at a concert because personally I like festivals much better and they’re honestly such a good deal. If you try to see Beyoncé in person it’s really expensive.
