Awesome report! I've been waiting so long since some Australia press reported a new regional product on 787-10. 787 is one of my favourite plane. I love this business class for regional and medium haul as I always fly this range. Even in long haul like this delivery flight, SQ 787-10 is still capable. I am a CX member who disappointed on their 2-2-2 business class (appear on KA and some CX A330, 772, 773, nicked name "fake J seat") I look forward SQ 787-10 to servicing on SIN-HKG.
Great looking aircraft and business class is where you are able relax on a long flight. Have flown on Singapore airlines from SFO to SIN on the A350 business class which was very great then to BKK. The service was amazing. The flight attendants are beautiful and classy. Sam you are one lucky man to work around them. Thank you.

The only concern I have is that plane seats in the middle row in business class mostly always have reduced space compared to the window seats on the side so you don’t get your money’s worth. Please correct me if I’m wrong, I’m a frequent flyer and expect to be on this type of plane often.

I was hired in 1975 with TWA as a flight attendant and flew for 27 years!! I was a In Flight Manager/Trainer and was based in LAX, SFO, ORD and STL!! :) I had the pleasure of working on the 707, 727 100/200, MD 80, 767, L 1011, and 747. it's sad to think that these beautiful a/c I flew on years ago is retired! Later I was trained on the 757. But my fav a/c to work on was the L 1011~~ it was THE plane back then to fly on!!! Now I see these wonderful A 380's, 777, and other planes to grace our skies. I have heard nothing but rave reviews on Singapore, and I plan to travel next year to Singapore!!! I will fly on Singapore Airlines Business Class and really looking forward to it!!! I just learned of your video today and watched it. Very nicely done, and enjoyed it!!!! I miss taking to the skies a lot, and miss flying with all kinds of people from all walks of life. I'll have to check out some of your other videos as well. NICELY DONE!!!

Looks lovely I always try and fly Sing BC. This lovely 787 is on my list for BC, their A380 777 seats are massive in BC I love them but I hope the inflight entertainment is better on the 787 that’s my only quibble re Singapore over for eg Emirates BC.

Singapore Airlines livery, looks like it's straight out of the early 70's
They should have gone to the Airbus A350. The Boeing 787 has had many problems, they made two major mistakes, one of which was to forget to design a sufficient Faraday cage, was grounded a few times, suffered big delays, then they never really solved the problems related to the batteries and thereby airliners are flying an aircraft which could be endangering the lives of poeple. Finally, the FAA seems to be bullied to close their eyes. The Airbus A350 did not make any error so far.

Last week i flew with this aircraft from SIN to BKK (return) and i didn’t realize that this is a very brand new one even i know that the aircraft is new.
One of my favourite airlines but sad to see them using third class B787 Cheapliners. Expect some cancellations in flights going forward on SIA, thanks to B787

OMG, such beautiful ladies, with class. Love the 10; but who can think about aircraft after you after we saw the cabin personnel. Really and extraordinarily beautiful aircraft. Make sure you give them my number Sam. I really like the future of Singapore and Boeing, dump the 380, buy lots of 777’s and 787’s. Sam the 350 has been sized up, it really competes with the 777 not the 787. The 787 has a nice seat mile cost advantage over the 350.
Excellent video, Sam! The 787 is a BEAUTIFUL aircraft. Boeing got it right! The stewardesses are incredibly lovely. Nomadic Matt cameo?? Amazing. Probably my favorite airline behind Emirates but the 787-10 will make me fly Singapore a few more times this year. The Emirates fleet has become slightly bland IMO; they only operate two A/C types. For now at least.

Flew with it a couple of times now and extremely disappointed with the newest version of their business class seats. Compared to the long haul versions on 777 or 787-9 or 350, the seats are super narrow, the look and feel is cheap. Even the crews are negative about it. Recently SQ decisions in equipping their newest set ups are questionable. I would also appreciate if vlogs like Sams would be more independent.
This 787 business class cabin is not as spacious as those A380 or 77W cabins. Better try 77W or A380 new cabin when flying SQ

The most notable thing with Singapore Airlines is "it is a regional product" meaning mostly intended for intra-Asia flights. Somehow, other Asian airlines are levelling up so SQ wants to be one step ahead of the competition. So they are also levelling up. Amazing Singapore Airlines!!! Continue surprising us.

"Medium Haul" and "Regional" are RELATIVE terms. The 787-10 has a range of 6,400 nm with a full load of passengers and incidental cargo. That is MORE than the original 777-200 or 777-300 (before the -ER). It is almost identical to the 747-300 "Big Top". That is classic transpacific range, enough for LAX to HKG or SFO to SYD. It is only regional and medium haul if you regard anything shorter than South East Asia to New York medium haul. 80~90% of all passenger traffic probably fits within 6,400 nm. -- I see the 787-10 carrying the bulk of the passengers over the next two decades. No aircraft has a lower operating cost per seat than the -10. Not the A350-900/1000, not the A380-800 and not even the 777-9. The 787-10 is the lightest aircraft per seat and carries more passengers per unit installed thrust than anything else flying. And, it has enough range for all the routes that matters. It cost less to put two -10 on a route than an A380 so there is no reason to put an A380 on it.

Over 40 years pf travel with them incl the first 707 flight out of SYD (engine failure) I truly believe that they are consistently a fabulous airline (not the cheapest) and always feel when you leave the plane they have valued the pax as an individual and truly appreciate your business.well done.
