I refuse to be enslaved by a mindset that says that u are immoral, or hopeless, or a bludger, or a loser or an idiot if u dont work. what i was talking about when I said 'please enlighten me' about how some1 who works for 5years which exhausts them so much it feels like 15years, then how can they care for their colleagues, because at that point they can barely care for themselves. in saying that... that's what Jack Ma said at just after 30.10mins. that they let their workers go after 5 years coz they worked them so hard and they have families they need to feed or whatever.... and it's funny that he said that... in America plantation owners used to tell their slaves that they better work hard because if they didn't work as good/hard as the next slave, then they will get lashes, and that the lashes were designed to encourage the slaves to work so hard so that the slave doesnt get lashed... i think they were very smart, very very smart, just like Mr Ma is very smart... they tell u that it's for ur own sake because they care about u so much that it is good for u not to see ur children, and its good for u not to run away because if u runaway, the owner of the next plantation will catch u and keep u as his slave and when he punishes a slave, that owner uses more severe measures than a simple 100lashes. so the slaves slaved with every drop of their energy helping the slave owner... and they didn't give a shit about anyone other than themselves. in the end the slaves punished other slaves when the owner asked them to. u see i dont survive and i definately dont work to survive. I LIVE my life on my own terms, I do whatever it is that i see fit to do. To me, it makes no difference wether i have $1 in my pocket or $1000 in my pocket or even a million. if I had all of the money in the world then it wouldn't matter to me because all of the money in the world, couldnt buy me anything that i already have or anything tht i could ever want. even if I had nothing at all i could still live like a king, because I know how to live like a king with nothing at all and even if i was locked in a cage with nothing at all i can still live like a king. and it's very simple... it's all about ur mind if u think like a peasant u will always be a peasant and if u think like a king u will always be a king... if u think like a free person than u will live like a free person... even if u were locked in a cage. freedom doesnt come from ur government or from ur friends or anyone other than urself. nothing that is out of ur control should ever cross ur mind more than once.... because if it does, then that thought will take control over u, even if it's outcome was out of ur control... and the only thing that is in my control, the only thing that i can really have complete control over is my own thoughts... everything else is out of my control... so if I want to live like a king whilst I'm locked in a cage... then i turn that cage into my castle... without any Ferrari, without any versace even without food. it would be out of my control wether or not my cages chooses to feed me and so a second thought would never cross my mind. and even if I starved to death, then i would think in my mind atleast that i wouldnt be stuck in this palace for ever. a garbage cleaner can beleive that he lives like a king and if anyone tells him 'but ur only a garbage cleaner'... the man will pity the idiot. because that idiot thinks that a garbage cleaner is the lowest of the low. but the pity would be because the idiot cares for what anyone thinks and so his actions are based on what other people think and say. he who lives like a king, is someone who doesnt think twice about what anyone else thinks, because the cleaner knows that, what others think of him is out of his control so he never does anything to please any1 else. he only does whatever it is that he sees fit to do . it is he that is in control of his own thoughts who does whatever he pleases and cares not whatever any1 else thinks of him for doing it. it is he that can ever understand what it means to be successful not the person who thinks he needs to work 10hrs a day so he can buy the shoes that he doesn't need today and the Ferrari that he doesn't need tommorow, because u can work as hard as u can to buy all the bullshit that u want... if only tomorow or next year was promised then it might be worth doing that but when u know that the next hour might not come, when u know that in an instant u can be killed in an accident, then u understand that working hard so that u may retire and live an easy life when ur older is stupid... because by knowing those things u understand what it means to live and by that u understand that tomorrow u may not. u accept that u may have everything today but nothing tomorrow and staying perfectly content either way... which is completly different than what Mr Ma said, mr Ma would love for any1 to slave for Mr Ma where one person's hard labour and sweat make a product for Mr Ma to profit from, whilst the person is encouraged to go feed his family and seek a differnet employer since Mr Ma cares so much for the eco system, funny when the eco system becomes more important than the people within that eco system
