welcome to the lubin awards ceremony and welcome of our outstanding leuben students i'm lauren singleton dean of the lubin school pace university and lubin have a long history of graduating students who are scholars and professionals today we honor some of our best and brightest i'd like to start by presenting louboutin graduate awards to the class of 2021. the outstanding student award goes to pranima deshwall ms deshwall who has a 4.0 gpa has earned an ms in human resource management as a student she served as president of both the hr and talent management club and the pace indian student association other experiences include her work as a senior talent acquisition specialist for tata consulting services in bangalore and she also worked in the pace university talent acquisition office additionally ms deshwall found time to volunteer for covid relief for students congratulations on earning lubin's top award both the leuben graduate leadership award and the career services award go to melton ikesi ms akisi who has a 3.9 gpa has earned a dual mba in corporate finance and talent management as a student she held executive board positions such as director of creatives for the graduate finance club vp of communication and marketing for lubin women in leadership and she was a graduate assistant she worked with lubin's office of graduate advisement to hold workshops for students to learn about various opportunities offered at pace she was also an active member of the alumni student mentor program further she is a national member of beta gamma sigma and beta alpha psi last summer mr kisi completed an internship with the federal reserve bank of new york on their supervision team and has accepted an offer from kpmg advisory in their new york city office congratulations the alumni association award goes to both sarah ackerman and colin myers i'm now going to announce graduate program department award recipients the accounting department combined bba thrive in your careers i'd like to take a few moments to highlight the winners of the top undergraduate leuben awards on both campuses i will begin with our awards on the new york city campus this year's recipient of the scholastic achievement award on the new york city campus is edward rubinfane mr rubinfane is graduating from the lubin school of business with a bachelor of business administration in business management he also has minors in finance and business analytics he was a member of pace's forzheimer's honors college the beta gamma sigma honor society and the national society of leadership and success as a student he won first place in the mobile app design contest and served in the pace advertising club he also served in the pace investment club and the economic society mr ruben fein was an entrepreneurship lab intern where he implemented a new online business curriculum for students the alumni association award goes to alexandra tosev miss tassev is graduating from the lubin school of business with a bachelor of business administration in arts and entertainment management with double minors in law and digital media studies she has a strong interest in the music business and interned for downtown music publishing cataloging music overseeing royalty agreements managing the company's website and working closely with artists she wrote a law review article titled 9th circuit upholds irs regulation preempting common law which was published in the june july 2019 edition of the journal of tax practice and procedure the professional management award goes to pauline m unganko the new york city campus career services award goes to alexis tenorio each of our departments also selects student award recipients on the new york city management award goes to devon hampton the sports marketing award winner is jillian lewandowski the american marketing association award goes to lillian walsh the brand marketing team award goes to the following three recipients valerie rouchy leah gaffney and steven pego the pace online business study awards are in accounting and internal auditing goes to jenny chow and the marketing and management award goes to philip culver i will now present awards to graduates on our pleasantville campus the recipient of pleasantville's scholastic achievement award is sativa rivera miss rivera is graduating with a combined bba mba degree in public accounting she earned a 4.0 grade point average while completing the 150 hour program in the summers since 2019 miss rivera has been interning at pwc in accounting and tax during her time at pace she studied abroad in spain and held positions as an account payable intern at ent and allergy associates she also found time for cheerleading and volunteering to work with animals the alumni association award goes to joseph silvestro mr silvestro is graduating with a bachelor of business administration degree in public accounting on the cpa track during his time at pace he served as an assurance intern in the technology media and telecommunications market for pwc and as a hospital accounting intern at yale new haven health he's been a peer leader r.a lubin student ambassador to the
