What a great video, it feels like that airline is like a family business or something. I work with people from Bangladesh in hotels and they are lovely friendly people by nature. I’d love to try a flight with Biman.

Amazing video, you deserve all of those surprise, the Boeing 787 reminds me back to 2015 when i fly with 787-8 Jetstar airlines from Melbourne to Singapore, so far the wide body aircraft that i ever ride is A330 (Turkish, Airasia, Lion), 787 (Jetstar) and 777-300ER (Garuda) but i always dream to fly the 747 before it completely gone from the sky.

I haven't flown with Biman nor with any SAARC airlines. BUT it seems to me that Biman is way better than PIA, Jet Airways, and Air India. Lots of potential to be Sri Lanka's new competitor in the region.

I think you could make 3 separate videos on 3 separate things (787 review with the winners, back to DAC with Q400 and finally to Muscat with 787). It would help us to get in detailed activities of you in Bangladesh. However, this time you gave better emphasis on Biman than before. Thanks for reviewing Biman. I have 3 questions: 1) Whats the best part you found in Biman throughout your assignment? 2) Whats the worst part you found in Biman throughout your assignment? 3) Whether you have any intention to review other Bangladeshi airlines (e.g. Regent, Novo and Bangla Star a.k.a US Bangla)? As you reside in Dubai, only Biman has direct flights to DXB. On the other hand, Regent and Bangla Star has flights to Muscat and to other South East Asian destinations like Kualalampur, Bangkok and Singapore. Bangla star also provides service to Guangzhou and Chennai. Novo only flies to Kolkata.

Riasad Alvi There are a lot of flights from UAE to Bangladesh. Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Emirates, Ethihad, Air Arabia, Fly Dubai everyday operate direct flights. Also Omar Airlines, Kuwait Airlines, Gulf Air have a short time lay-off flights everyday. So it’s completive route. Although once United Airways was run their flights Dhaka to Abu Dhabi via Chittagong Airport. Now US Bangla Airlines wants to operate flights that route by their upcoming aircraft. I think you get the answer of your third question.

Hi sam, watched all 3 parts of the biman airlines you reviewed. can i ask was this a paid review by the airline?? because you was very biased with your review. Unfortunately i have to say biman has to be the worst airline out there. the corruption within the company is unbearable from the crew members, to the airport employees right down to the managing directors. please read the reviews and watch the videos of what they do to passengers on social media and youtube if your lucky. Recently the beat a passanger and tied him up from a london to sylhet flight and the attempted hijack from chittagong airport. How does a passanger go on a plane with a gun?? did he pay the employees to pass security as this always happens. To anyone from biman reading this you guys need to up your game. 6 hours delay, 12 hour delay this is normal for biman and i think it needs to stop now. You guys need to keep up with the trend if you want to do well and compete with other airlines. If there was international flights landing/departing from sylhet & chittagong airport i believe biman will longer be in service. I hope the airline read this.

The captain let you mount a GoPro on the front window during takeoff. Very nice of him. I flew Lufthansa a few years back in Business Class that had a similar Business Class seat where you are "angled" to the middle with your seatmate. It's a bit odd if you don't know your seatmate. Fortunately for me the seat next to me was empty on my flight. BUT this product is NOT as bad as that BA rear-facing bullshit where the seatmate next to you is starring at you. That's HORRIBLE business class at 8 abroad! I know BA is revamping their business class to 1-2-1 and all forward facing, But until they do they won't get my business. I flew them ONCE in that shit and NEVER again! I PURPOSELY avoid BA on overseas flights due to their crappy business class product.

Very friendly warm people to foreigners, guests. No foreigner will ever come back from Bangladesh complaining about mistreatment or harassment. Biman always not on Time, delays due to Pilots forget their underwear when they about to go out ! Biman always on bankruptcy because of all those money go to pockets of corrupted idiots and finally, why there are old lady Biman Air Hostess although many more young one waiting for jobs and it`s because of those corrupted officials kept those old ladies for their …...………………!!

During serving food one sari-clad air hostess hit my right elbow inadvertently by her left thigh while speeding through the ails. I was trying to put a piece of chicken into my mouth by a fork when she hit my right elbow, the fork narrowly missed to puncture my mouth or my face. I screamed at her but she ignored to look back at me and say sorry. Bangladesh is my country of birth; I have settled overseas since 1996. I fly there every year on holiday but do not dare to trust Biman for its unpredictable schedule and service. I heard Biman is always good at offering nice and delicious food but that is not enough. Those 'middle-aged' over make-upped air hostesses - ( apa/khala/fufu/mami ra) in this YT video have tarnished my future plan to try Biman. They are too old to be an air hostess compared to other Asian airlines and too fat to walk through ails and smartly serve the passengers without hitting their elbows( OMG I still shiver). Biman should retire them or put them into ground jobs and recruit thin and slim beautiful and smart Bangladeshi girls and handsome smart boys - train them well in inflight manners and spoken English.

Chittagong's Potenga sea beach doesn’t have foreign tourists. Maybe once in a while. It's basically for local people. But Cox's Bazar sea beach has a lot of foreign tourists which is also in Chittagong but 150 km away from Potenga.

I like flying commercially and even worked on Military Aircraft. I only got to travel a few times during my service. Never got to fly on the Aircraft I worked on though. It may just be my mind playing tricks on me, but I’ve always been scared to fly on small planes. I’ve never flown on a private plane and even if I had the chance I would probably chicken out. I’ve always wanted to fly on large aircraft similar to this. The ones where it’s almost like your in a train cabin with your own bed and even able to take a shower as part of the package before you land. Meeting both ground and air crew that actually love the jobs they do (or at the very least do a good job faking it). I do wish more people had the chance to travel all over the world. The only thing I would like to see on modern flights is people get dressed up in suits and nice dresses even if it’s whatever that might equal to in their own culture. Getting dressed up to be ambassador’s to their modern cultures. Smiles, thank you and your welcome, and even holding doors and helping one another. Maybe even a laugh as you find those common threads that link cultures together even if they are little things. If I could travel from place to place spendings couple weeks in each location living in airports, nearby hotels, and even the planes I think I would.

Population is under control. Bangladesh gov did a good job. Check the stats on population growth in Asia. Once Bangladesh had more population than Pakistan now Bangladesh is at 180mill and Pakistan is at 210mill. And look at the economics of today of both country’s

This is a promotional video for Biman, I doubt people will still choose to fly Biman after watching this. Their safety record is not something to be proud of. You can have the newest aircraft, but if you don't maintain it well (a lack of consistency which Bangladesh is known for) it will shabby in a matter of time.
