No one is a slave here. No one can tell you that you should work in a particular place and do only a particular business. No one should tell you that you can tell you that you have to earn only this much or live in a particular way.

You can live the way you want and earn as much as you can. Who asked you to struggle? If you are working hard and there is no profit then your business approach is wrong. This is the secret Shiva told Kuberan. Kuberan says Shiva is the owner of all that he has.

and asks Shiva permission to enjoy what he has. Suppose the value proportion and the business partners are correct... If the value proportion is correct, you can earn as much as you want. In fact, it is supposedly the best.

because higher the profit, higher the charity to the society. Even if a person is highly skilled, the performance is dependent on the role. Lord Krishna was highly skilled, But what is his role in Kurushetra? He was merely a charioteer who did his job. He could have finished off this world if he wanted to. But he never did that.

If someone doesn't show you the proper accounts. Cheating and manipulation are two different things. Throw away anyone who tries to manipulate. A skilful person who is not in sync with your vision is a waste.

Skill is secondary, for you can train a person who is not skilled. But the other 4 cannot be trained. It is the fundamental need for business. These are all mentioned in the scriptures. You can do anything with ethics.

God will be your partner. The squirrel is nothing when compared to Hanuman. Give importance to work, and prioritize someone who is dedicated towards work. Then you can be the best in your work. and come up in life. Even if you earn a lot, keep just a limited amount for yourself.

Too much of anything is actually poisonous. This is true. But the power to decide the limit is in your hands. Setting limits for yourself with regard to money is not wrong. But you have to decide your limits.

Too much of anything is actually poisonous. Hello Guruji. I worked very hard, took risks and made it big in business. A long-time business partner cheated me. Is trusting someone in business wrong? What should I do to ensure that I am not cheated again by a business partner? Will I be able to focus on business again? Will I be able to win again? Thank you Guruji. If you say that someone has cheated you in business, it means that you are shifting the blame to someone else.

You should do business, only if you can take responsibility for it. Don't mistake me, someone might have cheated you... Even if you cry foul after being cheated... the loss is yours.

loss due to natural calamity and loss due to unforeseen circumstances is all fine. If someone has cheated you in business, it means that the business hasn't been formed with the right protocol. There is a lot in the holy books about business ethics and business management. It is not that simple. The holy books say that you can earn as much as you want legitimately and ethically. There should be no bribing or stealing, there should be a fair exchange in business.

If the value proportion is right, along with the right business partners. If the value proportion is right, you can earn as much as you want. That is the best practice. Higher the profit, higher the charity to the society.

Earning more is not wrong at all. For any business, you need proper focus. You have to fix a profit goal. If you don't work hard and shift the responsibility to God, it is wrong. If you work hard without getting profits, your business approach is wrong. Mahabharata insists on a clear outcome.

You should be able to anticipate whether your action leads to profit. Your focus should be on your action which is not physical action. You should focus on whether your action will lead to the desired outcome. If you focus on the action, you will get the desired outcome. Doing business without knowing about values is wrong. Having a spiritual approach is not wrong for it will lift you up.

Leaving your business midway for spirituality is betrayal. There are young people all over the world who merely collect donations in the name of spirituality. Doing charitable work without money means you have to borrow from someone else. Then you have to work hard to earn money. Helping the poor is a good thing, But you shouldn't become poor.

for that business is important. Even working in an office is a business... Salary is the value proportion for the work you do. If your salary isn't good, you can opt for a change.

There is no compulsion to do a particular job or particular work. There is absolutely no restriction on the way you live or how much you earn. You can earn as much as you can, live the way you want, No one is asking you to struggle. In case you are planning to do business or if you are already doing one... Understand this, Getting cheated by a partner is one thing... If you have CCTV footage, the thief will hesitate to steal.

Whoever the person might be, even it's someone close to you, there has to be certain terms. Whether you know a person or not, there should be certain terms with regard to financial transactions. If you find a partner for business... and if that person is working for someone else you have to fire him. There's no use of retaining him, you have to fire him. because retaining such a person is a waste.

You should never be with someone who talks ill of you behind your back. even if he is talented, throw him away. I will talk about talent later. Having such a person with you will spoil your name.

Suppose a person who does business with you talks ill of you behind your back... Even if he has been with you for almost 2 decades... Even if he has been with you for 19 years and 11 months... and if he talks ill of you in the last one month, You shouldn't associate with him after that. You have to respectfully throw him out. When such a person is with you, irrespective of whether you have a growth or not...

you will lose your respect. Once you throw him away, even if he talks ill of you, you don't have to worry. for he is not with you. All the people to whom he is talking about you will be businessmen. Though they may initially hear him out, but eventually they will ask him to mind his own business as he is not with you.

If he talks ill of you while he is with you, you will lose your respect. because he is talking ill of you while he is with you which will create a bad impression on people. If he talks ill of you, even after you throw him away, your value will go up. No one is willing to listen to trash talks. Useless guys like him, might listen to him.

But your value will keep increasing. People will shut him up saying that you drove him away. These are the fundamentals of business.

If someone has to be your partner, he shouldn't work for you and someone else at the same time. He shouldn't talk ill of you, while he is with you. Some people are lenient because of the long time bonding, but an unfit partner has to be thrown out. This is only for business, the person can be close to you after work. You can attend personal functions and events for the personal bonding can still be strong. but as far as business is concerned, he is nothing to you.

This is business ethics. Whoever it might be, if the person is not showing correct figures or manipulating your accounts... then you have to fire him. Mill owners wouldn't tolerate manipulation of accounts and throw away anyone who indulges in malpractice. I have come across such sincere business people.

A dad would advise the son to never step into business and that he will take care of everything. Being a businessman's kid doesn't give automatic rights. If someone manipulates the financial transactions and doesn't give you exact figures... don't keep him with you.

Why are you doing a business? for profit. The basic business ethics of doing a good business will be there. you can even have the intention of doing good to others. but the primary motive of business is profit. you can use that profit to help people.

You won't give food to poor people on a daily basis if you are the owner of a star hotel. you can use the profits to help poor people. You won't invite them to your hotel for free food, that is the standard of business. You can't give free education to all students if you have an engineering college of your own.

Only those who have completed 12th grade are eligible. even if it's free education, there has to be a certain eligibility and qualification. The basic eligibility is not to do things behind your back. Even if a person has been with you for many years, you shouldn't be lenient on him. Business ethics is different.

you have to throw away a person who backstabs. A partner or a business colleague who is not in sync with your vision will pull you down. A person who started an engineering college gets a profit of 12 crores. But the aim was just for 4 crores. A partner takes advantage and doesn't work properly citing the profits as a reason. He does this casually.

and refuses to work properly, the solution is very simple. Understand what I am trying to convey. The profit might become 20 crores later, but you can never work with someone who has a lethargic attitude The MNC's wouldn't be there if businessmen were lethargic, it needs effort Stealing is wrong, earning crores of money through legitimate means isn't. That's your skill.

There's nothing called hard work, it is right work. It's all right approach with management ethics and business ethics. Then there is business management, risk management and quality management. If the quality management is perfect and the others are messed up you will be ruined. Anyone with lethargic behaviour should be ousted. There's no need to be lenient. What will they do after leaving you?

You don't have to worry about that. You have to do what is right. That will make you feel good. There's a beautiful story in Ramayana... In Mahabharata. Even Lord Krishna gives responsibilities based on skills.

The performance should be based on roles even if you are skilled. Though Lord Krishna was skilled, he was merely a charioteer in Kurushetra. He could have finished off everything if he wanted to. But he didn't do that... You have to look at commitment towards work. Some people earn money without doing anything worthwhile.

You have to be aware of your role and responsibility in business. Throw out anyone who works for others while he is with you. Throw out a person who talks behind your back. Face the consequences, for it will lift you up.

You don't have to worry if the person leaves you and talks ill of you. This will only strengthen your reasons for throwing him out. If a person talks ill of you while he is with you, you will feel bad when you get to know it. This will create a wrong impression among people as he is with you.

But once he leaves it is not a problem, if he talks ill of you, your value will go up. If someone doesn't show you the proper accounts. Cheating and manipulation are two different things. Throw away anyone who tries to manipulate. The 4th is syncing with your vision.

A skilful person who is not in sync with your vision is a waste. Skill is secondary, for you can train a person who is not skilled. But you can't train the other 4. It is the fundamental need for business. These are mentioned in the holy books.

You can do anything with ethics. God will be your partner. You can acquire wealth for your family by earning. If your family is happy, they won't be a problem for the society.

They will be helpful towards the society. This is shown beautifully in Ramayana and Mahabharata. Lord Krishna, Jesus and Muhammad stress on management principles. All of these are reflections of great changemakers. There's a beautiful sequence in Ramayan which has the three main characters, Ram, Sita and Ravan. A bridge is constructed to rescue Sita.

No one uses their power; this is not actually a story. But it's written beautifully with minute detailing. The main portion is rescuing Sita from Ravanan.

A bridge is being built to rescue Sita Understand the nuances of using the bridge as an important factor. A bridge is being built, which is known as Rama Setu and Nala Setu. A lot of people are unaware of these portions. This portion felt beautiful when I heard it for the first time as a youngster. The Upanyas has a lot of depth.

In and around Vellore the Muslims quote the Quran often. Quran is not just about Allah chants, there are lot of beautiful stories. The Christians also quote from their scriptures. Don't miss out the good things in other religion just because you are a Hindu. Listen to this, don't think that Ramayanam is only for the Hindus.

You might be religious or an atheist. Just think how scientifically it has all been written years ago. This portion talks about business, humanity and spirituality.

Listen carefully. Ram stresses on the need to build the bridge to rescue the queen. The selection is made based on skillset.

He didn't entrust the responsibility to Hanuman or Lakshman. or Sukrevan. He looks out for the best architect to build the bridge. A huge list is compiled. Lord Ram selects Nala and Nila based on qualification, skillset and experience. Nala comes up with the best possible design within the limitations. The bridge has to be built with that design.

Ram doesn't give ideas, he merely selects someone who has ideas. and has the skillset. He doesn't pick Anjaneya who was very devoted. Do you understand what business expertise is? Work is not merely a job, Work is worship.

A lot of people merely waste time by just worshipping, But, for God work is worship. If you are merely wasting your time by worshipping you will be ruined; work should be worship. You will be ready to succeed. The world will keep reminding you that you are successful, Work is worship, Reverence should be there. You should have the right person for the job just like how Lord Rama did.

See how beautifully it is written. Nila is entrusted with man management. Nala created the design, so it's called Nala Sethu as he designed the structure.

The bridge has to be finished quickly. So, deliverables and commitment comes into the picture. It had to be completed in 5 days. Only when there is a time-based task in a business there will be resource management. Nala gives the design structure to Nila. and that it has to be completed in 5 days.

Nila looks after the man management and resource management. So, there's skillset, man management and time-based target. Nala and Nila take care of everything.

Hanuman is entrusted with a different task. I am stressing on this because there's no one big or small in a work force when these parameters are used. The person who can help us should be in the team. If a person is not helpful, he should be thrown away. You are not going against him, you are just maintaining a distance. The squirrel comes into the picture and Hanuman doesn't listen to Ram.

and listens to Nila's instructions instead. as far as job is concerned. Nila looks after man management as per Nala's instructions. A squirrel scatters the sand all around.

When huge stones are being carried across, the squirrel becomes a disturbance. One of them holds the squirrel's tail and throws it. This is part of the story. The squirrel lands in Ram's arms and he holds it. Ram enquires the squirrel why it is there for which the squirrel says that it wants to help.

The apes laugh. This is the boss's mentality. Irrespective of who the person is, he should be with you if he is useful. Who you are doesn't matter, you should know how to work. That's all. The squirrel is an ordinary animal, but it can help by collecting sand to build the bridge.

The squirrel becomes a part of the team. Lord Ram asks the others to not mock at the squirrel. The others think that the squirrel is a disturbance and won't be useful. Now the boss engages the right person, the person who created the design -Nala.

Don't ignore the learnings by thinking that this is just a story. Understand the lessons within. You shouldn't be abrupt with the chief officer if he calls you, listen to his needs... Things should be conveyed correctly.

This requires management skill. Nala understands that the sand bought by the squirrel can be used for binding the stones. So, the squirrel is useful.

This makes the squirrel happy and it brings a whole bunch of squirrels along with it. At a certain point the squirrel is almost on the verge of giving up. The apes are carrying gigantic stones, because of their huge size.

All that the squirrel could do was collect sand. But Lord Ram assures that the sand binds the rocks. and encourages the squirrel which makes it so happy. Lord Ram pats the squirrel. Only usefulness at work counts, Size doesn't.

Give importance to work, and prioritize someone who is dedicated towards work. Then you can be the best in your work. and come up in life. The squirrel is happy, for size doesn't matter... Usefulness is. This is a huge principle to follow.

The first thing is skillset selection. Selecting the right team for execution. If someone new comes along, there is team building.

Lord Ram doesn't entrust the task to the squirrel immediately. Though he is the boss, he doesn't involve in the proceedings. He doesn't compel. He conveys the message to the other team members. Nala, the person with the designated role takes over. All of them happily join hands to complete the Nala-Sethu bridge named after the engineer.

It is known as Nala-Sethu in memory of the person who constructed the bridge and Ram Sethu. This is the right way of doing business. Do your work happily, I am not saying that work is the only important thing in life. Give importance to your life and future, which will help you to focus on the work.

I am saying this.

You have to decide your worthiness. Otherwise, someone else will do it for you. Don't forget that. Decide your worthiness and be focussed. and throw away everything that is trash. Then you will get a quality which is dear to God.

These are Lord Shiva's words to Kuberan, You have to select what you want. To prosper, you need to choose. If you compel yourself to work, you can't come up in life. You will become stagnant. Doing a job should be your choice from the bottom of your heart. A lot of youngsters are doing jobs out of compulsion.

Doing a job just because you studied, or because you want to earn... is wrong. Business shouldn't be a compulsion, it should be a choice.

You should choose to do. then success will choose you. Set a high limit and make God your partner.

This is Shiva's secret to Kuberan. Kuberan says Shiva is the owner of all that he has. and asks Shiva permission to enjoy what he has. Your business will now go on smoothly and you will earn profits. because of which you and your family will prosper.

You will be good. It has to happen.
